Crime simulator is an Alright game. Its Thief simulator dressed differently, its got more in some parts like the actual "Crime" available, but its stripped back a lot of the other parts, mostly the QOL stuff from Thief Sim, NPC's no longer act like people, their up and about every hour of the night, instead of sleeping, and you cant even go out during the day, when most people would be away from home working. Skills are also done so much worse, in Crime Sim, you have to both level up then find and use a skill book, Whereas Thief Sim just uses a standard Skill Tree, So if you've spent the time to level up, you better hope you find a skill book that's actually useful. the skill system would've worked if they'd just picked one or the other, Skills via Level up or Skills via Skill book, but for some reason they've decided on taking the worst of both. After just a little bit of playing, it becomes clear that Crime Simulator is built first and foremost around the multiplayer experience, Quotas and numbers are all balanced around that, so if you're going Solo, Good Luck.

Dawnguard is great, whether your playing with or against the Vampires, you'll have something to sink your teeth into. And then theirs the elephant in the room, Serana. Does it make sense given her story why she wouldn't want to marry you, Yes. Does that make it acceptable. NO. this is unfortunately the case because Serana, is the only follower who we the player actually experience their story. every other follower is either a blank slate, like Lydia, or already completed their story like M'joll. Serana is the only one wherein you're an active participant, Serana is closer to an FNV follower, then any of the other Skyrim Followers, and i hope this changes with TES VI

The Elder Scrolls III: Tribunal
6
User ScoreMoose021
Sep 1, 2026
Tribunal has some of the best and most interesting Lore from anything in "The Elder Scrolls" series, everything about Almalexia, Sotha Sil, and the clockwork city is amazing. The game play however is horrible, Tribunal has some of the most repetitive quest design you'll find in the entire series, "go here, get that" "go there, take this", and because it all takes place in one city its even more benign then you'd think. Couple that with the same few enemy types all with horrible scaling, makes combat horrible, and that's what you'll spend most of your time doing. So the story and lore are great, shame the gameplay leaves everything to be desired

9
User ScoreMoose021
Sep 1, 2026
It is such a shame that games cant never truly live up to the stories they want to tell, because Miraak sums it up perfectly "And so the First Dragonborn meets the Last Dragonborn at the summit of Apocrypha" Returning to, or first setting foot on Solstheim is like stepping into another world, its nothing like is was back in Bloodmoon but its so similar to Vvardenfel. All the call backs to Morrowind form Fort Frostmoth, to Tel mithryn, all of them just take you back in time. The new content is also great, getting more information on the dragon cult, and its connection to the origins of Solstheim. seeing a more "Traditional" version of the Nord's culture with the Skaal, and seeing their confrontation with the wider going ons of Tamriel, the the Thalmor sticking their necks where they don't belong, all of it is great.

To this day Oblivion is still a great game. There is a reason that to a generation of people it is "The RPG", Tamriel is an amazing world and any game made in it has the opportunity to be great. Oblivions questlines alongside its DLC stand alone as some of the best content ever put out for "The Elder Scrolls" series, and its going to be hard to top. However its gameplay certainly shows its age, its a hodgepodge of systems that don't compliment each other the greatest, and some holdover system from previous titles that where never the greatest.

Pretty fun for a Linear "Survival Horror" game, nothing about it is ground breaking, but i don't think that's what they were trying to do. Played on "Silent Mall" first time through, selected the preset, because it looked like it had the least static in the menu, didn't know if came with the fog until looking at others. The Fog however massively adds to the atmosphere of the game, to the point where there are times when you are firing at something you cant see. Went back after my first playthrough to clean up the achievements. Total Playtime 63 Minute, about half of that on my first playthrough taking it slow.

This game easily has the best gunplay in the series, its such a shame that everything else just isn't that great. The main story is garbage, horrible villains, and repetitive story beats. Legendry's no longer feel like legendry's because of the massive increase in drop chance. It feels like they took everything that worked for BL2 and improved it, then took everything that didn't work from "The Pre-Sequel" made it worst, then mashed them together. At least the DLC's are pretty good, and don't suffer from the same writing problems of the main game

Fallout: New Vegas - Lonesome Road
9
User ScoreMoose021

I have no clue why this DLC is as disliked as it is. Ulysses is easily one of the Fallout franchises most interesting characters. Up there with the likes of Joshua Graham, Caesar, Mr. House, The Master and Marcus. The story of Lonesome Road is really a microcosm of the entire story of Fallout. A lot of people get Fallout wrong, and think its a Post-Apocalypse, wherein reality its a Post Post-Apocalypse. Its a series about what rebuilds after the apocalypse is over, However set Bethesda is on keeping everyone living in rubble. Lonesome Road is the same, Hopesville is destroyed, Bombed into Oblivion, and Ulysses' because of his blind hatred for the Couriers unintentional actions, decide instead of rebuilding, to perpetuate that destruction. Ulysses' thinks himself better then both The Legion and The NCR, but in reality, he's the Enclave. He's decided based on nothing, that people aren't worth saving, and that the slate should be wiped clean.

While the "Forgotten Realms" is far from my favorite setting for any story, it doesn't detract from the Masterclass that is "Baldur's Gate 3" Putting 20 hours into it thinking i was far, and only then getting the Achievement for completing the "First Act" really puts into your head the size of the game you're playing. Combat is effectively "just try and find out what does and doesn't work" and its amazingly fun, even for someone like me who isn't partial to Turn Based Combat. setting up a ton of explosives, just in case a fight breaks out will always be fun

People talking about fallout 3 like its the greatest game ever made, and I've never really seen it. FO3 was the second game i played in the series, the first being New Vegas, and it just felt flat in comparison. No real standout Characters, or locations, only a few memorable quests, and no feeling as though what i was doing mattered. Like yeah, you could blow up Megaton, but that's about it. I think what really hampered my enjoyment was the lack of "RPG elements' Compared to FNV, there's just less branching, less options for quest, and i think most detrimentally less skill checks. All of that culminates in an experience that feels like less of what I'm doing and how I'm choosing to play matters.

The most Inoffensive of all New Vegas' DLC. the questline isn't the greatest, but the location, characters, and Lore more then make up for it. Joshua Graham is easily one of the best characters in the entire Fallout Franchise, and Follows-Chalk and Waking Cloud are interesting looks into the tribal life that sprung up in the wasteland. Zion Valley is probably the single most unique location in any fallout game, Ignoring the Aliens of course. The stories told in Zion valley are also great, the pinnacle of course, being that of Randall Clark, the Survivalist.

Easily the best Bethesda Fallout, and the best in the franchise total. People complain about crashing, but i cant remember any from my first time ever playing, and the time I've put in since has all been modded to hell, so instability is expected. New Vegas is one of few "RPG's" that actually make you feel as though your choices matter, even when they don't greatly. But by providing skill checks, it make the experience feel as though its uniquely yours, and that how you built and leveled your character matters. Couple that with the ending slideshow, just explaining the ramification of the actions you've taken up till end game. Just makes your feel as though you've help to mold the world.
