It's a good, but not great season of Jackie, that is a step down from the tremendous season four. We focus on Jackie's sobriety. But we're introduced to lousy new characters (Carrie) while great ones (O'Hara) go away. The finale is pretty great, but nothing happens for episodes at a time. I'll definitely keep watching in season six.

Each episode of The Big C's 4-hour finale is full of love, sadness and optimism. Each one has brought me to tears, and every actor is perfect in these last few episodes. It brings some really worthwhile ideas to mind. It's an emotional **** punch, and it's quite depressing, but it's important viewing. Needless to say, Laura Linney deserves every award in the universe for this part. I'll never forget you, Cathy Jamison.

The show pulls a miraculous feat in its 9th season. It takes an event from the past season's finale, and is able to create a compelling season based off of those events. People have died, and someone's gotta pay. Acting from the central cast has never been better. The new interns are dead weight, but I don't think it will be long before they're written out. If the show remains this good, I would love to see it go on five more years.

I found myself able to sit through the first three shows of season 4, I originally thought the show had regained what it lost. However, it's dead weight now, and the recent school shooting episode was a tasteless attempt to keep this dying show on people's MSN home pages. I think it's time we let this show die already.

While the acting is still top notch, the writing leaves quite a lot to be desired. Characters are almost ruined in this third season. Character development is reversed, and that's never a good thing.

Season 2 is a remarkable improvement over the first, with actually worthwhile characters being introduced while the lousy ones are gone. There are still issues with the tone and some of the acting, but I think the change of showrunner was a very good decision. I hope it lasts at least one more season.

Season 4 of Nurse Jackie is easily the best yet. The storyline is finally moving forward, and redemption is coming. Falco's acting is better than it's ever been.

Veep could easily become the next "Curb Your Enthusiasm". It's a comedy for smart people, and the best HBO has put out in years. Dreyfus gives an excellent performance, and I cannot wait until season 2.

I truly loved season one of Girls, but season two is a complete misfire. It's the Hannah show. The friendships have become strained and almost non existant. It became completely about relationships, none of which are very believable. Dunham talked about how she wanted to avoid the "season two syndrome", but she failed completely, sorry to say. I hope it gets back on track with the third season.
