Multiple types of microtransactions in a 70€ single-player game that is badly designed so you would pay real money to skip the pointless grind and/or get something shiny that should have been in the game you paid for. The story is bland and uninteresting. Only one of the two main characters belongs in an AC game. Enjoyers of big maps with nothing interesting on them, hundreds of icons, and **** busywork should add one star.

Pros: -hair physics Cons: -everything else (character and monster cartoony models, dumbed down mobile-like combat and "puzzles," contemporary/Marvel sounding dialogues, no real role-playing options, prime-detonate "tactics," UI clutter, after-school-special didactic scenes...)

1) Unoptimized on all hardware (all consoles and PC); horrendous framerate dips; 2) No performance mode on consoles; 3) You cannot delete the save and start a new game; 4) Only one save; 5) Predatory anti-consumer practices (tons of microtransactions, from P2W to utterly pointless, hidden from potential buyers and, possibly, reviewers until day one) The game itself could be around 8/10 if and when they solve those problems. Until that happens, Capcom should be deeply ashamed of themselves for this self-inflicted wound.

An unplayable port - SP and MP. It looks 3 years old but eats resources like Crysis 7. Severe audio stuttering, deadly lags, server problems, gameplay breaking frame-rate drops on gaming machines well above the recommended configuration, laughable hodgepodge story... If they cannot somehow patch this load of manure into playability, I would not recommend picking it up even from the bargain bin - where it will pretty soon land.

Nothing you have not seen done better elsewhere, but still a fun way to spend 5-7 hours in the single player campaign. The overall feeling is that of an arcade version of "Splinter Cell: Conviction" but with signature Bond skin (voices of D. Craig and J. Dench, Bondian music and story, film-like structure and cut-scenes, exotic locales, chases on foot and in various vehicles, huge explosions...). The system of shooting from cover is done well and you can aim covered, pretty effectively shoot "blindly" with just weapon showing, vault across small covers and stealthily take down enemies from such covers. There is enough weapons to mix things up (pistols, shotguns, sub-machine guns, assault rifles, snipers, grenade launchers...) and your trusty smart-phone is really smart (it tracks enemies, shows you the intel and way-points if you are lost, hacks terminals...). The race/chase levels are exciting and also arcade-like in their simplicity but that's the main source of fun here: even if you have almost no shooting, driving and sneaking skills, you will almost effortlessly achieve Bond-like feats of super-spy mastery - and that's not a small thing.

This is probably the best DLC for ME2 although it is somewhat clunky in places. The storyline connects the events from the comics (pre-ME2) with the main plot and gives Shepard the chance to continue the relationship with Liara and settle the score with the elusive Shadow Broker. There is a new kind of play (hover-taxi chase), some new upgrades (sniper, armour), a new Spectre-powerful enemy, a new biotic powerhouse ally and an awe inspiring new location (similar to the EVA battle at the end of ME1) which can be revisited and used if you haven't finished the main plot yet. Some might be disappointed with the lack of Finally-done-it-with-Liara achievement at the end, but the end scene is genuine and emotional, it ties up ME2 and sets up the scene for ME3. Excellent DLC.

Yes, the game is flawed in many ways, but patient gamers who like sniper/stealth missions and don't mind longish stretches of slow crawling through the tall grass to line up a perfect head-shot will be well entertained despite all the (mainly AI based) annoyances. I cannot understand the outrage over the "unfairly hard" run-and-gun portions of the game. Firstly, they make no more that 5% of the game, and secondly, the solution is very simple: don't play them as run-and-gun. Move slowly and cautiously, take cover and whenever possible stay behind your comrades who are essentially unkillable and help distribute the enemy fire.
