Enjoyed purely for its open world exploration. Mechanics were clunky, pretty much never did any racing, just challenges and exploration but getting to check out the entire US was mind-blowing.
The game that defined modern shooters. Great for its time and aged well. Modern Warfare 2 blows this out of the park but Modern Warfare is a great game to try too.

Hands down one the best Assassins Creed behind AC2. The sights of Rome are some of the most unique and stunning ones in the series with missions like climbing up the famous Roman Colosseum, flying through the skies with Leonardo Da Vinci's inventions, and much more.
This game really surprised me. This game is a incredibly immersive and your choices have a huge effect on the rest of your game experience. You can choose to help any faction you want, or you can run the show on your own and do things completely solo. The best Fallout experience.

Possibly one of, if not THE best open world game of all time. Skyrim has offered people over a decade of entertainment thanks in large part to its thriving mod community and ease of play, but also its rich vibrant world that seemingly never gets old or boring.

Portal 2 takes the original's beloved problem solving formula and injects an incredible story and atmosphere into it. Rich personality and a great sequel that improves on Portal in every single way.

It's clear that Saints Row 1 and 2 were heavily inspired by the success of GTA San Andreas, but Saints Row 2 manages to do what the original didn't, which is set itself apart from GTA and establish the franchise as its own thing.
While Saints Row 3 takes the craziness of its predecessor and dials it up to 11, it somehow never manages to exhaust you. Definitely a different vibe from the first two games, but Saints 3 continues in the direction of distancing itself from its former title as a GTA clone.
As its own game, sure, it's fun. But it takes the craziness of Saints Row 3 to levels that just aren't even enjoyable anymore. Decent game, but terrible Saints Row.

The best multiplayer shooter of all time, but that's not even the primary selling point. The campaigns are. No FPS game has ever or will ever come close to the quality of storytelling and lore of the Halo franchise, save for Mass Effect.

Short story, but incredible experience with a fantastic story and setting. Expectations were high after hearing good things, and it somehow managed to exceed them. This is my 2022 Game of the Year.
Simply put, an evolution simulator. Some stages tend to be a hassle to get through after multiple playthroughs, but the strengths outshine the weaknesses. So much freedom and different ways to play the game. A classic.
Missing lots of content at launch, took a year and a half to get to the state it should have been, but we finally have a complete game. Campaign is a good play the first time around, but after that, the flaws start to show. Art style is closer to the original trilogy, which but feels like it's at the expense of the graphical fidelity that 4 and 5 brought to the franchise. Don't expect a masterpiece, but it's still a great new addition to the Halo franchise, especially the multiplayer.

Mod capabilities and Zombie Chronicles alone make it a must buy. Multiplayer was and remains painfully mediocre, and don't even worry about touching the campaign unless you want to experience thrilling moments such as "Train go boom". However, if you're buying this in 2023, you're buying it for zombies. Rating would have be dragged down to a 6/10 if it weren't for the zombies mode.

Genuine embarassment. The only positives here go to the multiplayer. Maps were cool but having all the maps be remakes of MW2 (2009) maps was not the play. We should be treated to NEW maps that can build their own legacy instead of relying on nostalgia of old games. Don't get me wrong, the old maps are cool, but ONLY old maps is a joke. The gunplay is a downgrade from MWII and MW19. And the campaign? Terrible. Story was uninspired, villain was laughable, protagonists felt like different characters compared to their MWII and MW19 counterparts. Level design was forgettable. Lack of Sarah Schachner soundtrack was very noticable, seriously, the most forgettable soundtrack in the entire Call of Duty franchise. Add in the insulting DMZ style 'missions' and you've got yourself the worst Call of Duty campaign of all time. At least Black Ops 4 decided to humbly bow out of a campaign that year.
Maps were honestly pretty great, and the gunplay was fantastic. The removal of slide cancelling has me feeling mixed. Campaign was a huge step down from MW19, but better than the embarrassment that would follow in MWIII. Multiplayer deserved more credit than it got though.
Huge step back from original Warzone. Al Mazrah was okay but nothing great. Ursikstan was better, but still nothing great. DMZ felt like a snooze, while MWZ was an interesting evolution on Outbreak but really just feels pointless. Never been a fan of the direction the story and vibe of zombies went after Origins.
