It's not my favorite RE-game, but it's definitely one of the better ones. I loved the visual style, the locations and the world-building. Most of the characters were also fun. Fighting felt kind of awkward and could have been better. The boss fights were fun for the most part.
I can't compare this to the original version. But I had fun playing and the game looked very pretty. It was interesting to see how the series started, and I can see why it was popular. But compared to the later games it was a very prototype-feeling game. Very simple story and mechanics.
It was a lot of fun but personally, I prefer the more old-school RE games. With more exploring and figuring things out. This one was more of an action game.
I mostly started playing this because Village continues its story and I definitely want to play that one. I didn't love it as much as the other RE games I've played so far. But it was still a really nice experience. The locations were great, I especially liked the house and its grounds. The story was also good enough to keep my interest until the end.
I didn't expect to like this one as much as the other RE games, but I was wrong. I was just as hooked on this as the other ones. I remember starting this years ago but stopping pretty quickly. I didn't like how clunky it was and how close the camera was. It did bother me this time around also, but I guess I had more motivation now and kept on going. It didn't take long for me to get used to the movement and camera and it didn't feel that clunky anymore. And then I was quickly hooked and finished the game very fast. Can't wait to play the remake.
Loved it. It looked great and the atmosphere worked for me. I love old mansions as playgrounds. Also, The Resident Evil formula hooks me so well every time, I can't stop playing this franchise.
This was a lot of fun. It was pretty much an updated version of Gothic. This one wasn't as buggy as Gothic but there were still a few problems. I couldn't finish a couple of the quests because they just glitched. Thankfully they were side-quests but it was still annoying. Fighting was a bit clunky but I expected that from an older game. Other than that I don't have much to say.
I loved the first Biosock and even Infinite, but this one just felt flat to me. It's not a bad game, but something felt off about it, especially compared to the other two games in the series.
Bought this for a few euros without knowing anything about it. And it was engaging enough to play it through once. It's been a while since I played it, so I don't really remember much else about it.
I had fun while playing it, but it didn't really leave me with an impression. It was just ok. The fighting mechanic was accessible and it was easy to come back to the game even if it had been awhile. The story had some interesting elements to it, but that too ended up being just ok.
