Pokemon Sword / Shield: The Isle of Armor6
Aug 20, 2022
Pokemon The Isle of Armor was a short DLC I played mostly to see my own pokemons run after me, to get new pokemons for my Pokemon HOME pokedex, to catch the new Kubfu and Urshifu pokemons. This DLC was really short and easy with too much of allolan diglets to look for... I liked the galarian Slowpoke evolution line quite a lot, and the map was nicely done!

Pokemon Legends: Arceus10
Aug 20, 2022
Pokemon Legends Arceus, I hope that the next game will be as much open as this one or preferably even more open world. Some might say that graphics weren't stunning, but for a Pokemon game, they are (as of 2022). I loved the unrestrictiveness of this game, I always explored each map fully before going for the noble fight. Finding a new pokemon or even a shiny one in wild was a thing I always looked forward to. Dodge rolls, sneaking behind the pokemons were fun things to do, but the fight were remade, and they worked really nice, especially that they didn't teleport you somewhere else for a battle. We just battle at the place we encountered each other, that's just amazing. Boss fights at the start were weird for me, but they grew on me so the finish of Arceus positively surprised me. I completed for research level 10 each of the pokemons (I think I have 3 perfected) and I will shiny hunt some pokemons later as well. Great game, with awesome visualizations and overworld pokemons. I love it!

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond8
Aug 20, 2022
Pokemon BDSP were the first ones I was like "nah, I don't want to play it", but then I realized my hunger for something new in my pokemon section of life. I played with quite some ease, until I reached the champion fight. I went there with the same or even a bit lower of the levels and I won. Beating her took me like 30 minutes (first try, but this 1 fight lasted for 30minutes...) Thank you Snorlax for wasting all of the Garchomps attacking PP and surviving each hit! I disliked the overworld chibi style, but other than that it was what I needed. Later, I shiny hunted some pokemon and finished all of the ramanas park and the legendary/mythical events. Good game, I will try to nuzlocke it later on my second profile.

Darksiders Genesis7
Aug 20, 2022
Fun game, if you do like hack and slash type of games it is a good choice for you. They did a great job with isometric graphics. I preferred to play as Strife over playing as War, but their interactions were one of the pros about the game. Graphics and the humour were the things I liked a lot, but there were some bugs and I had like two instances of my game crushing down. I liked it, but it's not a game I would play a second playthrough of. As a person, who haven't played anything from the Darksiders series, I liked it quite a bit.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury9
Aug 20, 2022
This was my first time playing Super Mario 3D World and it's an addictive platformer, so addictive that I started maxing it out. However, it was possible for me to reach the last level, but in the end I couldn't max it out. Nonetheless, great game with fun mechanics. It's challenging, but comfy and visually appealing. On the other hand I got Bowser's Fury, which exceed my expectations, it was something I would love for Nintendo to use as a stepping stone for creating the next thing in the franchise. It was nearly perfect, I loved looking for things and collecting it all (I played it near the release date, so right now I can't recall the name of the things there were to collect). Map was diverse and quite big for such a thing (not a full game). Gameplay was smooth and the usage of Bowser Junior was nice as well.

Monster Hunter Rise10
Aug 20, 2022
Monster Hunter Rise is such a great game with awesome graphics and music. They did a great job with presenting some new and older monsters. The vibe the game gives us is humongous. I don't know how is it in co-op since I played it solo, but I love the gameplay, the grind and the weapon differences. I played mostly with switch axe, hammer and great sword mostly and the only reason I stopped playing this was that I had other games to play as well. However, I will play it more, someday, especially that Sunbreak DLC came out. I loved the character creation options as well as the diversity of the armours. I poured my whole heart into the looks of my female character called Aileen!

Oxenfree7
May 22, 2021
So, after I saw the trailer for the Oxenfree 2 I thought that it is the time to play Oxenfree. I went in deep. I played it twice for a better understanding and I have to say that it's a great LINEAR game. You have options to pick while talking with other characters and wrong choices might reach a worse ending, but all in all I couldn't get rid of Jonas. For me he was really annoying, even more than Clarissa. It might be the fact that he is nearly everywhere, when I had the opportunity I always ditched him for Nona (I liked her and Alex). I adore the radio waves mechanic, it's new and simple I would prefer a few more radio stations but all in all it's a cool one session game, which gave me some goosebumps (that was new for me). I cannot wait for the sequel!

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 38
May 22, 2021
I played this game for the first time here on nintendo switch and I have to say that it's a good game. It does portray the most important things from the manga, it has a smooth gameplay, it has a lot of playable characters. Fight could be harder and longer, but all in all the bonus final boss battle with Kabuto made me sweat a lot. I unlocked him, so it's fine in the end. The game could be more polished but for the genre it's aiming for it's a great game, but still... buy it on sale, it can wait like all the other anime/manga games. It reaches its finest if you liked the original medium of Naruto franchise xD

No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle7
May 22, 2021
What can I say, it's a sequel to the rather controversial game. I disliked the fact that they made this game with no open world, I really liked it in the previous one. Fights were visually spectacular, I adore the amount of flashes from these lightsaber. Bosses, huh, some were harsh and some weren't but the final one was a **** ass to beat... Good music and gameplay made it worth my time, I cannot wait for the third instalment.

The Last Campfire7
May 22, 2021
The Last campfire is the game which we were told we would get (they didn't lie!). It's a comfortable, casual, peaceful and cute puzzle game. It does expect of us to use our braincells, but at the same time it's a game which you can finish in two sessions like I did. The last campfire is really the comfiest game I played in a while, I haven't wanted to finish my session it was that nice. Beating it with 100% rather than just finishing didn't make it impossibly hard, so that was nice.. Oh, yes I praised the graphics, but the sound in this little gem is really nice. As I said it's a gem, and that's a thing which brings me back to the indie and puzzle genre.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity8
May 22, 2021
It's a good game with a few frame rate issues, but it's still worth it. It has so much content to do it all it takes quite a chunk of time. Also, there is a DLC on its way with even more missions. The plot was nicely done, it's a sad factor that they used time travel but in the end it worked out nicely. From the graphical point of view it brings back a lot of BOTW memories back and has some new nice characters and plot twists. Sound is nice, until the game lags out at this time music stutter as well. All in all I had only like 3 issues while playing and aside from that it's a truly a nice addition to BOTW plot even though the gameplay is drastically different. Although, we should not talk bad about its gameplay, it's in the other genre than the rest of the games from Zelda franchise and yet it's a nice experience. What are you waiting for? Get over there, it's slaughter time!!

Carrion10
Dec 31, 2020
Carrion is a marvellous game, gem within 2020 indie releases. I was pleasantly surprised when I heard that it's a game from my homeland. At first, I had low expectations, but the developers delivered a lot more than I anticipated. Overall, 2D pixelated games have a special place in my heart and I'm not really into horror games but the concept of the reversed horror game hooked me in. It's truly a satisfying game. Soundtrack as well as sound effects (yes, screams as well) were nice, really atmospheric. Controls might be better but after a few levels I got used to them. The amount of game mechanics was shocking and the fact that all of them were useful and well thoughtful is awesome. I adore this game, I will probably 100% it later in the future, when I get over my backlog, but for now CARRION is a marvellous indie game with awesome game mechanics and concept,10/10 I would play a sequel xD

No More Heroes7
Dec 31, 2020
No More Heroes on Nintendo Switch. So, I'm looking forward to No More Heroes III, but I've never played the first and the second game in the series. When they released both of them on switch I've bought them both without a second of doubt! Since the day I got it I found some time in between and played No More Heroes. I finished it yesterday. It was a hella fun game, but it was a bit frustrating as well. I haven't mastered the dark side step move... Nonetheless, I completed the game without using it (hit-and-run tactics work here xD). Great soundtrack, fine (but dated) graphics, kind of sturdy movement (and some city/car/NPC bugs) and a ton of fun in game made it a game which is worth to play! Plot was nice, it shocked me a little, but positively. I struggled the most with the samurai girl boss fight, but I beat her on my 8th try. 7/10 nice game, I will play the second installment in the franchise now :D

Superliminal8
Dec 31, 2020
Superliminal is an indie game with nice mechanics. It's a puzzle game which uses the concept of perception and the fact that point of view differs from the point of being. Superliminal is quite a short game with comfy music. It dropped some frames on level8, but overall it was a fine experience which reminded me a little of Portal games. Good humor with great brain exercises which weren't as hard as I thought they might be. 8/10 I will recommend it to friends as well.

Dicey Dungeons8
Dec 20, 2020
Hi, I played Dicey Dungeons on PC. Then I heard that it's coming to Nintendo Switch. At first, I was quite conflicted. I was excited for such a great game on a portable device, but at the same time I was afraid that they might screw up the controls. In the end controls came out great and intuitive as well. It's a colorful game with an awesome concept of attacking with dice rolls (in some way xd). Dicey dungeons is a rogue-like game with catchy music, easy to understand game mechanics, some challenging enemies and quite various pull of characters to play (game feels different while playing different characters). I do recommend it, it's a comfy game, which is worth its price.

Ring of Pain9
Dec 20, 2020
I had my eyes on it, since discord DEMO released and now I play it (A LOT) on my switch. It's a great game, with a dark theme. Most people would call it just a rogue like game, but it has too much of an RNG to be a pure rogue like game... It's a unique game with a ton of replay value. It's well build with some unbeatable challenges xD Nonetheless, it gives me a lot of satisfaction, so far I've reached as far as level 13 is and I wonder how far it might go till I reach the end. Name "Ring of Pain" gives player the perfect idea of how hard of a repeat cycle it may be sometimes XD Music here is dark and kind of spooky, it makes the game even better and more climatic. There are quality graphics on items and monsters and overall, it's a pleasant treat for eyes and a soul. Great game, which will be appreciated by people, who adore not only rogue-like games but other game types as well. BTW, controls are really comfortable and easy to get used to!

Bloodroots5
Dec 20, 2020
I've got it on sale and I think it was worth the price from sale... It's a fast paced action game with one hit KO mechanics. It's a quite fun game, but it gets really boring with time. Also, it has obligatory bonus levels which are time challenges. IF IT'S AN OBLIGATORY THEN IT'S NOT A BONUS LEVEL!! Those challenges were the worst, I've got quite far in game but the boredom and those "bonus" levels made me drop the game. Maybe, I'll go back to it in the future, but right now I have better things to do/play (I HATE obligatory bonuses, especially when they are time challenges. Time challenges are the ones I dislike, especially fast paced time challenges...) It's not a bad game, it's just not for me.

BioShock Infinite: Complete Edition9
Nov 14, 2020
BioShock Infinite was an unexpected experience to me. At the beginning I had some trouble with adapting to controls, since it differs from the controls in previous two games. With time, I got used to it and the game exceeded my expectations. Spectacular FPS/adventure game with really nice and colorful graphics. It's a well known thing that colors in this one are more vibrant than in the previous BioShocks, but it still made me do "woow" gesture. The plot was really nice, it didn't go in the way I expected and that was nice, plus the ending truly shocked me. I had trouble to pass the last part in which player has to fight of waves of enemies, meanwhile protecting some machine/source of the power (I dislike this type of missions), but I completed it at my 4th try. I've also played both of the "Burial at the Sea" DLCs, it felt good to go back to the Rapture and experience another story over there. Part 2 was more stealthy but still with a great gameplay. The only dislike of mine within the BioShock Infinite was that the only save option was to search for an autosave place. There is no option to save the game whenever player would like (It was an option in the previous games). That was the only thing I disliked. Some may say that there is no gyro aiming is bad, but overall I think that gyro aiming is just a nice addition that make games easier while playing on controllers... I liked the challenge and I didn't miss gyroscope aiming options, but if you are the type of person who needs gyro aiming then WATCH OUT there is none! It's a gaming franchise I played for the first time on the switch and it found a free space in my heart and took it. I do recommend BioShock series wholeheartedly!!

A Short Hike8
Nov 14, 2020
I've got pretty late on a "A Short Hike" hype train, but I'm here! It's an indie adventure game that may seem like nothing special, but in reality it's different. Starting from graphics, it has a low resolution, but it gives an option to choose between smooth edges and chunky pixelated ones (I chose the smooth ones xD). Exploration in this game is what makes it truly great. In every part of the island camera is set in a way so the player cannot take a peek at some stuff. It makes the exploration experience more intriguing. There are some quests to do, but mostly it's the pure exploration. Obviously, you can rush to the peak of the island to finish the game. However, I cannot relate to people who rush games xd It's a short game even without the rush, I think it took me 4 or 5 hours to finish it at 100%. To be honest, I collected my last 2 golden and 2 silver feathers after reaching the peak of the mountain... Soundtrack was comfortable, visuals were vibrant and colorful, controls were easy to understand and the overall experience was satisfying. I really adore the aspect of climbing as well as gliding in the exploration games and here both of these mechanics were phenomenal. Short and Sweet, comfy game for a one sitting!

Baba Is You9
Nov 14, 2020
Baba is You is a great puzzle game with minimalistic but beautiful graphics. Graphics are made out of pixels, but it seems perfect for this little gem. This gem **** brings out the full potential and creativity of our brains! It contains way more levels than I anticipated I would see in it and also, with time comes new rules and the game gets a lot harder (I have it from the day one and I struggle with some levels to this day). I reached "THE END" sign unintentionally without completing every level, so I will get back to those puzzles. It seems that I have only 14 more levels to 100% the game, but I played it long enough to write a review, I think... Nice compact graphics combined with clever puzzles and a nice mechanics of creating the rules and rewinding time. It's a game which gives us pleasure after achieving something within it. "Baba is You" might have burned my last braincells, but I'm glad I got to play this game. I'm going to beat more puzzle in time, but for now I have to recultivate some new braincells for next puzzles.

Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - Definitive Edition10
Oct 11, 2020
It was my first dragon quest contact ever. I started with the demo, and that's what took the hold of my soul and reminded me about my long forgotten love towards the turn based RPGs. Graphics are smooth and compact, I adore the art of Akira Toriyama. My favourite characters were Erik, Jade, Rab, Veronica and Hero, whom I named Jotaro. Enemies have a clever design here as well, I appreciated the look of sabrecat and sabrecub, all dragons (especially Yggdragon), Jargon, Hornknight and Sham hatwitch (and their variants) and many more. The plot was a little longer than I expected and it had some twists I would never consider (if I count correctly, there were 5 for me). I was shocked by the diversity of the map, it was made thoughtfully, the pallet of colours ain't dull and that's nice. Music with time got repetitive and it ****, so while I played in handheld I muted the game music xD However, while docked I used it. I appreciate that I had an option to choose between Japanese and English dubs (I used Japanese with English subs it seemed more natural, since it has the art from Akira Toriyama), voice actors did a great job here. Now moving farther from graphics, sound and plot. Game at 99% of time had a consistent framerate. However, I had some rare frame drops while starting my movement after the relocating from map to map. It was a really rare case, but it happened (it didn't ruin my gameplay, so I don't mind it). There was one time I had to grind levels and one time when I didn't know I should use my sword in the other way than slashing (huh, last boss), but in any other way it wasn't hard to progress. It brought back my love towards the turn based games and that's why I dismiss minuses I mentioned. Also, I had a marvellous 120 hours of my time with this gem **** 10/10. I do recommend it wholeheartedly!

BioShock 2 Remastered9
Sep 27, 2020
Back in the Rapture! Like in the first Bioshock, it was darker than I anticipated it would be, but overall I really liked that heavy and deep atmosphere (I played it late in the darkness). Framerate wasn't dropping and the game played smoothly, I even think that it was smoother than the previous BioShock. It was my second FPS on a controller and I saw the progress I made thanks to this series. It doesn't have a gyro aiming controls, but it's still a great game. Plot was deep and really short. However, the plot ain't the main focus of this game (that explain its length), it seemed like this game put more focus on the technical things and the gameplay smoothness. Little sisters were still a little weird and big daddies were easier to beat these time (maybe because I played as one xD), but the big sisters were the enemy type that I didn't get used to fighting at all. It was a challenge to fight big sisters every time! Also, the aspect of viewing the Rapture from the point of view of the Little Sister was unexpected. I would risk saying that Bioshock is a perfect game for people with limited gaming time, but not only (Player is able to save the game whenever he/she wants to). I truly recommend this franchise so far (definitive decision after BioShock Infinite). Great port with good graphics and nice framerate, audio was fine/good, but it could be better (the sound of the big sister fights was annoying at times, since it was quite monotone). For me great game! 9/10, -1 for the aspect of downloading some game parts even while I got a physical release.

Inertial Drift8
Sep 12, 2020
So I played the story mode twice as different people (first I played as Ada, then Edward and now I started the run as Ibba) and I would like to say THAT EVERY CAR FEELS DIFFERENT AND THAT IS A GREAT THING!! Also, Ibba run started my struggle (his car is so different..). I would like to share my opinion from my gameplay I experienced so far. The controls system seems nice and fresh, after 10min controls felt great (until I played as Ibba), it was smooth and frustrating as well. Graphics may not be 10/10, but it gives the atmosphere of the futuristic 90s arcade racing game. However, the music was quite off.. But the sound of the engine and drifting are good. I'm definitely going to unlock everything and play it more (until a better (in my opinion) arcade racing game releases). After unlocking everything I will use this game to confuse as well as to compete with friends in the local multiplayer. Also, I cannot speak about the leaderboards and online versus mode, since I do not have a NSO, but if they work they might be a great experience!

It was an interesting game with quite the pleasing graphics. Some puzzles were nice, some were just dumb. Narrative was a little annoying, but the game gave me rather a nice experience. Controls shocked me, I'm rather against using the touch screen, but there were puzzles where it made thing a lot easier (so I used touch screen...). Overall, I won't say much more about this, since it's a short puzzle game. I do recommend it if you can get it for a 1$ or less (I got it for free) that's the price I think that this game is worth. For the full price I would't even look at it, but at the sale it is a fine game!

Talisman: Digital Edition10
Jul 1, 2020
Talisman is a great board game that was ported to the digital edition on many platforms. It's a board game that will take time to finish one run. It has a lot of rules and the plus of the digital edition is that AI keeps an eye on the players to play their turns in a correct manner. This game has an astounding number of the DLCs which you can buy separately or in a bundle. Nintendo Switch version of the main game comes in a package with 3 dlcs: the city expansion, the sacred pool expansion and the frostmarch expansion. By getting every available expansion to the one game, while playing with friends locally/online or with AI it will take over few hours to complete the game (my longest session took 8h with breaks. Yup, you can save one game online or a few locally to continue it later on). Nomad Games really thought about the controls of the game, for me they felt rather natural, on the other hand for my friend it wasn't obvious, but he learned them quickly. Audio and graphics are great, loading is rather fast, the amount of content (with and without DLCs) is marvellous! Also, game comes with the 2 stage scale of the text which is a nice touch and it helps to play it in a handheld as well as in docked mode. Talisman is my favourite boardgame of all time and I'm going to play it on my switch for local games and on steam for the online plays (online on switch uses NSO as far as I know). Great game that gave me great memories and a lot of laughs, can't wait for more 10/10

Mana Spark7
Jul 1, 2020
At first, I was truly sceptical about this game. Another roguelike, that is often on a sale and has pixel art? Nonetheless, I've still bought it (at the sale xD) and I'm glad that I did it. Pixel art is really minimalistic, but it works a lot. It's not hard to understand the items just by their art. Also, there is quite the diversity in the enemy pool as well as the upgrade pool. Soundtrack ain't the reason to play this game, but controls and the feeling of progress are. So far I've not reached the end of this game, but I can see myself playing it a lot. I often start my gaming sessions with Mana Spark, it's a good game to warm up and think what full fledged game should I play today (apart from never ending roguelike games). It can be challenging, but it's possible to feel your own growth in the game with each run. At the times I have a gaming dilemma what should I play, I will probably run Mana Spark, to get the session started!

Jul 1, 2020
This review will be like the gameplay in downwell is, nice and short xD It's a roguelike game in which main point of gameplay is to reach the bottom of the well. I do really appreciate the minimalistic graphics and fast paced gameplay, it's a good combination. Nice and short that's the gameplay of Downwell, but on the other hand, I can't see myself pushing through all the way down to the bottom... I'm just bad at the fast paced platforming gameplay. Also, power ups are monotonous and there aren't many of them xd Overall, I do really like the game, it's a fine piece in my switch game collection to play once in a while between full fledged games. 7/10 nice one (btw it has an often price drop, so it's a good deal for such a roguelike game!!)

It was my first time playing this franchise, since I always had my eyes on it, but I've never got a final push to get it. It was a lot darker than I thought it would be but overall I really liked that Bioshock had such a heavy and deep atmosphere (I played it late in the darkness). IT WAS A MARVELLOUS EXPERIENCE! Framerate wasn't dropping and the game played smoothly. It was my first FPS on a controller and it does the job in teaching shooting with analog sticks. It doesn't have a gyro aiming controls but it's still a great game. Plot was deep and it **** me in for good. Little sisters were a little weird and big daddies were hard at first, but with the right amount of time I got used to them. I would risk saying that Bioshock is a short and sweet game, perfect for people with limited gaming time. I was like that and I really liked that I could save the game nearly whenever I wanted. Great port with good graphics and nice framerate, audio was fine/good but it could be better. For me great start to the new (but old) franchise in my life! 9/10, -1 for the aspect of downloading some game parts even while I got a physical release.

Liberated is a great indie game that has truly a deep plot. This plot isn't for everybody but for me it hit the right spot. I don't want to spoiler the plot, since it's rather a short game, but the ending shocked me (I thought it would go the other way). I love the ragdoll in this game, it made me laugh so many times (even with such a deep/dark plot). Visually this game is gorgeous it's clearly visible that the Atomic Wolf spent a lot of time with this indie. Dark visuals goes so well with this type of plot. Also, audio was minimalistic/simplistic, but that's what was so good about it. If the sound was flashy then it would be out of the place, so yup simplicity is good. In my opinion the only negative aspect was that nearly every loading was quite long :/ 9/10

In my opinion it's truly a bad game. It has a quite nice graphics, but gameplay, and by gameplay I mean movements between reading sections, is bad. Story is somewhat deep, but the presentation was a mess... I don't know why would someone spent his/her money on this game. I'm glad I got it for free. I would love to call this game short and sweet, but it was a good experience only while I was at the chapter one. Other chapters had a messy storytelling, all of it, except graphics were sloppy...

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 26
Apr 9, 2020
The competence of plot conversion from manga to the game was still great. All characters are fun to play as as well as against. I adore fights in this series! Fights are even better than in the previous game, but man oh man, maps and moving across/between them are awful (maps as the maps outside the battles)!! To be honest, I give it 6/10, one less in comparison to the prequel thanks to the maps and thanks to the running through them from point A to point B and back with no fast travel (until u finish the main plot). Great game with bad gameplay between fights xD

It was my first game from Naruto franchise and it was a good experience. The competence of plot conversion from manga to the game was great. However, there were some annoying parts, like collecting scrolls in the village or running through forest to catch someone... those things gave a rather poor experience of gaming. Fights on the other hand were really good (smoother in sequels, but nonetheless good) with some missing hit boxes but overall nice game, that convinced me to play the sequels.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild10
Jan 2, 2020
This game is a pure gem in the decade. Gorgeous, open world that sometimes feel empty. Great climbing mechanics, awesome diversity in equipment with the possibility to match whatever equipment you want. I do appreciate the weather cycle and the aspect of enemy respawning with red moon. The controls are really smooth and the game has good animations. I was shocked that weather can damage me through the equipment I wore. Quite a good pool of the enemies to fight (lizards were my favourite ones). I enjoyed the plot development, the idea of not making it an important thing. The plot is just a thing for the people who wants to enjoy it. Also, I adored the amount of collectibles things like shrines and koroks (I've got all the shrines, but I've got only 200 koroks). Cities with different races were a nice touch (I do not remember names of the races, but bird people have the best designs out of those 4 races in my opinion). Bosses and puzzle elements were fun and sometimes somehow challenging. Overall, breathtaking game that I think I will play more after some time (I've played it for around 99h). I do truly recommend it, I even think it's worth the full price! (It was my very first Zelda game) [I posted my review in september 2019, but I had to update it, and that's why there is such a date]

The Way Remastered7

Overall a good game with very smooth animations, great pixel graphics, decent plot, sometimes **** controls. It was a bit short, but for the price I got it and with -93% sale it was enough. I recommend this game, it is a good way into puzzle games. Last boss was quite unexpected but after a few tries it became clear what should I do and how many times xDD

Bury me, my Love5

Something close to visual novel, but It has a quite harsh topic about immigration. It's slow & kinda sad. Also, it does have quite a lot of different endings which is a big plus, but overall it was rather boring...

Batman: The Enemy Within - The Telltale Series8
Dec 27, 2019
I started to play this game right after I finished its predecessor. This game is a great improvement in optimization, QTE, graphics and plot. I do adore the fact that Joker plays such a big role in this game (I tried to befriend him, but it didn't work out well). Harley Quinn was great, but I would prefer that she would have a little younger face xD. I played this game to be a Batman, but most of the gameplay I was a Bruce Wayne working undercover... I was kinda sad about it, but my interactions with John and Harley made it worth it. I would love to see a continuation but I doubt it. Overall a great sequel, worth the price I paid (I got it on -67% sale) 8/10

Batman: The Telltale Series8

It is a clever game with a cool plot. Sometimes it is shocking and sometimes the plot is predictable. I had some issues with the frame rate and thanks to this I missed a few of QTE. Choices in this game weren't as game changing as I would like them to be, but it was fun to have a choice. Graphics looks good, I do like the comic art style. I do prefer the switch version over the PC (I played this game on PC 3 years earlier and I had more fun with this game on my switch). Also, Joker is my favourite person from all the DC universe and he was there (btw, I do like Telltales interpretation of Joker). Overall I have spent a pleasant time with this game 7.6/10. It was a good revision of the plot before I started the sequel. (It's worth to buy this game on sale)

Pokemon Shield8
Nov 28, 2019
I did take a few days off from finishing the game and writing this review to rethink it as well as I could. First thing first, I know that the opinions on this game will be different and kind of random, but mine will be written without thinking about others, just my experience with Pokemon Shield. It is bad that Game Freak lied about some things (looking at the list...), but overall I did enjoy this game a lot. Starting with bad things: - For me it's truly sad that they added questions like "are you ready to battle me?" before nearly every rival fight and some more. I liked these challenges of unexpected battles, but now if I thought "nah, mate", I backed a little to heal, and then fought the fight, - Plot and script was kind of lame, but what should we expect from the child game..., - I dislike that baddies/villains apologize for their crimes, - The one and only f*****g tree model, - Post game/legendary quest was kind of lame, but Hop was reclaimed there in my eyes. Now some good things: + Gyms (especially Water, Ice, Dark and Dragon type gyms). Water and ice types were just like in the old days, puzzle mixed with battles (MARVELOUS). Also, I liked dark and dragon gyms, since they were pure fights only, + I like designs of so many new pokemons from gen 8 (Dragapult, Corviknight, Inteleon, Appletun, Hatterene, Centiskorch were in my team), + Wild area is a cool concept, + I like this game for giving us overworld and random encounters. Some things I want to address: a) dynamax in gym battles and league was a 'meh' mechanic for me (I played without it). I'm using it only in wild in raid battles, b) About the controversial national dex, I was kind of sad that some of my favs were cut, but damn... I expected them to give us a game with less than half of all pokemons xD c) Starters are too humanoid for me, but overall Inteleon won a place in my team. I'm planing to finish my pokedex and do some shiny hunting/breeding for the pokemons I do like a lot. Also, Nessa, Allister and Raihan as well as Shield (girl protagonist) have a really cool designs.

It is a clever game that was fun to play (it surprised me how fun it was). I got it at sale but I think it's worth the standard price. Animations were smooth and clean (no pun intended) However, My game crashed twice but it did not affect the pleasure of playing this indie game. It is a small game so I won't write much, but I would like to add that chapter 20 is confusing af, if u skip dialogue xD I had to google it out, since without the internet my only idea was to trap the murderer (and I did i, but it was not the solution they expected from me) To sum up, it's a nice indie game to play and finish in one day.

The End Is Nigh8
Nov 9, 2019
This is one of the great games that Edmund McMillen created, to be honest I had more fun with this game than the Super MeatBoy, in which he had his parts as well. This game is quite dark one and thanks to this it's a great game to play in the darkness. I got truly challenged while playing this game and I got my in game friend back. However playing it after the second end of the world is just too brutal for me since limited amount of lives got me bad. Graphics aren't complicated but they do match the game style and the animations in this game are quite smooth as well. I love it but I doubt that I will finish the part with limited amount of lives, so I added it to my list of finished games XD

I bought it for around 5 PLN (it was at the -85% sale) and I think that I didn't waste those 5 PLN XDD It is so short, and easy, but it is relaxing af, It was fun for the time it lasted. However, I would like to be clear, this game is not worth the full price, buy it if you have a few spare gold coins before changing regional shops or something like that. I got it since I wanted some climate change for as little money as possible and I think I did a good choice getting it for such a low price. Cute, little and easy game

Huh, today I found some time to do my second try on File 11 (at my first try I had too little of my life available for the last fight, but this time I was at max HP) and I did it all the way. This game is so gorgeous, art style is like sugar for my eyes! There is so much to do, picking up trash, beating up chimeras or some people, finding cats and some toilets, cleaning the red crystals, stealth missions, mini games, great boss fights, a lot of attacks I as a player can do and great rating system. At the start I wanted to play it as much as possible with touching every wall that's available to touch xD But with time, my responsibilities came as well and I had to do a bigger break from playing but today I finished it!! AWESOME game, music, graphic style, fights, enemy design and game concept overall. Also, I liked length of this game as well, right now I have a little over 40 hours in, but I'm planing to play it more. Legions are unique, it's a shame that I cannot pick the order of unlocking them, but when I accepted that I got even more fun out of this game. Sword Legion is nice and quite quick, but with light dmg. I think that Arm legion is my favourite, it gives the biggest choice of things you can do with it! Arrow legion was nice for the "Hit Rush" ability and the ability where I aim with its bow. Beast legion was quite weird for me, but when I upgraded it enough, it was fine and useful. Axe arrow IS THE SLOWEST LEGION EVER but without its shield I wouldn't be able to beat last file. Right now it's my top 1 Nintendo Switch game, it shares the same place with BOTW!

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening9
Oct 5, 2019
Today I finished this game for the first time in my life, which means that I have no nostalgic aspect towards this game and yet I think it's a great game worth 9/10. It is a shame that you cannot use D-pad for movement but everything else was excellent. Also, I do love the change over the dungeons, especially the aspect of the last 3 dungeons before the last boss in the egg. In those 3 last dungeons I had to think a lot more to finish them. However, fights weren't that hard. I struggled a little in battles against Gohma, Grim Creeper, Slime Eel and against the second and forth form of Shadow Nightmare, these fights were harder but fun and satisfying (still I died about 14 times only in the room where you get ocarina, since I tried it a lot before obtaining the boots). I like the map a lot as well. On the other hand, I got stuck at the time when I had to find the slime key, since I had no idea that it would be at the farm (even when I unlocked this location before the google time xD), so I googled the localization. Everything else was nice and easy to understand and achieve. Right now I plan to play it one more time but this time on hard difficulty + on the old save file I will get last secret seashell, 2 last heart pieces and I will max out the dungeon generator (I miss some chambers)

Bastion9
Sep 15, 2019
I double dipped with this game. I played it about 6 years ago on PC and I had a positive recollection of this game. Also, I wanted to see the second ending, so I bought Bastion for the second time and this time on the Switch. Bastion is (or rather was, since I finished it already) as great as I remembered it. Smooth gameplay with very nice soundtrack. It is a game that isn't very challenging UNLESS you use shrines to make things more difficult. I played it with five shrines and it was satisfying and sometimes challenging (I didn't want to struggle, so I raised the bar of difficulty just enough). It's a pleasure, to play such an indie, action, RPG game with platforming elements. There are so many things inside: weapon challenges, memories/in game achievements (which are worth achieving), a lot of upgrades and a satisfying combat system (I was always using bow and I paired it up with machete or with the Fang Repeater (Yup, I played with two ranged weapons at the same time)). It's rather a short game but it's worth the money. Game that does age well.

Darkest Dungeon8
Sep 8, 2019
Started on easy, moved one mode higher/harder, then added DLCs still cannot finish last dungeon. Fantastic 2d graphics, challenging fight (mostly bosses & DLC monsters). There are a lot of adventurers classes to upgrade and combine into 4man teams that will go on adventures to the dangerous dark dungeons. It's a game that takes your time and exchange it for pleasure as well as the frustration for losing people in the fights. Darkest Dungeon has high replayability value due to the randomized nature of the game. Also, the narrator voice makes this game to feels like the greatest story ever, his voice is worth everything even the price of this game. I'm still looking up to finish it someday and see the final cutscene on my console.

Enter the Gungeon8
Sep 8, 2019
Such a good rogue-like game for a switch. A lot of fans of this genre of games ask what's better Isaac or the Gungeon, in my opinion both of them are great. However, Isaac reaches its peak of greatness while playing with keyboard. Meanwhile, Gungeon is at its best while played with controller. I do play both of these games, but one on PC and the other on the Switch. BACK TO THE GAME! Great pixel graphics, smooth animations, a lot of content. There is a lot to achieve while playing (a lot before me as well). It's a game that takes time to get good at it, and to unlock everything. It's cute and well designed. I hope that a lot of people who have dilemma whether to buy it or not, would take a risk to play it at its bests with controller rather than keyboard.

SUPERHOT9
Sep 8, 2019
So about an hour ago I ended SUPERHOT for the second time, this time on Nintendo Switch, previously on PC. Both gameplays were great but the one on console was much better. I played this game for the first time with controller and it's freaking great, better than with keyboard. It's the most innovative shooter I've played in years! Gameplay can be challenging and satisfying especially with the endless mode and in the challenge made, which are unlocked after beating this game for the first time. I highly recommend getting this game! P.S.: On the Polish shop this game costs 30 PLN meanwhile on US shop it's 30$ (right now 1$ is worth 3,9 PLN, so it's cheaper on Polish eShop)

Katana ZERO10
Sep 4, 2019
I saw it for the first time at the Nintendo Direct, I think. This game made me wanting to buy it from the first sight. "Katana ZERO!" is an indie game with pixel graphics and great soundtracks. Gameplay can seem quite challenging, since getting hit means death. However, it is a game that you won't like to stop mid game (sadly, I had to take such a break for two days while being in the middle of the plot). Great game with breathtaking animations and boss fights, I would max it out again!

Bulb Boy7
Sep 4, 2019
This game is a good point&click kind of horror game that made me smile. It's not a hard game, but it's a game that makes you laugh a little from time to time. I bought it on a sale and it did get me surprised. Bulb Boy has nice graphics and decent plot(maybe graphics are a bit too green, but it's not that bad. It won't annoy you with such a length ****). Also, boss battles are fun!
