An even better DLC than Torna the Golden Country, which was already amazing. The game is a perfect end to the story of the original trilogy, with even some connections to the rest of the Xeno series. the character progression system know as the Affinity Growth system is my favorite progression system in any JRPG, it is very simple, every thing is a collectible, fighting every enemy, finding new locations, doing side quests, talking with npcs, collecting items, every thing gives you points to strengthen your characters. the combat is a more polished version of 3's combat. the music is incredible like always, both many new songs and remixes of the series. the game has a lot of fan service, especially from 1 since the base game had a lot more from 2, but that does not mean that Rex is not written extremely well

This game is weird and that's what makes it so amazing. an anime-style score attack game where you ride a train in a post-apocalyptic world shouldn't work, yet it does. a few of the early levels is you riding inside a volcano and on a gigantic Ferris wheel destroying everything in your path, the creativity in this game is Mario levels of crazy
