From Evolved to Ascended we needed to see a hugeimprovements in all aspects from graphics to gameplay and AI. Understanding it's still quite early, but so far it has been a good run. There has been many good upgrades to ARK, from graphics to new Dino AI, they don't feel completely mindless creatures running around.
With the addition to the community mods makes the game easily more enjoyable. The largest falt so far is framerate, with no option to set it to performance, many areas it just drags and loses appeal. I'm sure in future updates it will get better.
Absolute masterpiece. P3FES was by far my favorite of the series and they took from that and just made it 10x better. Phenomenal work from the ground up.
Definitely a love letter to DarkSouls.
Everyhting from boss fights to the world feels like a world built with love for the Souls series. Graphics - 4/5.
Gameplay - 4.5/5. Sometimes the controls are wonky. But feels just as a souls series. Dodge wrong or not close enough and you'll pay for it.
Environment/story 5/5 - Feels dark, just as a souls game would feel.
Replayability 5/5 - Take your levels and experience into the game again after you beat it and find yourself a new way to complete your journey, along with 2 different endings. Overall, fantastic game and a fantastic journey. I look forward to playing Salt and Sacrifice later on.
Fun and a tad of challenge. Combat is brutal and fun. Graphically is nice to see a hand drawn type rpg.
The story is relatively short. Decent story of a prince restoring his kingdom and getting revenge. For total 100% about 10 hours for the plat.
Gameplay : 8
Story : 7
Graphics : 9 Overall: 8
Very disappointed. They had so much going for them in Arceus. They took it back to the boring and basic system. Battles are just slow and underwhelming. The animation in moves are lackluster.
Get badges, win league. Boring.
The world is open and pretty, pokemon running around. They feel dopey and not wild as they should feel.
Hope they can correct their ways in the next installment.
I tried to enjoy it, in the end, I put it down just as I have with Sword/Shield.
Finally, an open world pokemon will action in it. The Good: New formula, Open world, Pokemon living ( and defending) in their homes in the wild. Gameplay feels nice and smooth. Lots of content after the main plot. not the same old reused formula over and over. We got something new and it worked fantastic. The Bad: I feel as of the main plot was short-lived. Vast world feels empty at times. No voice acting. Overall it's a great way to revamp the pokemon series. It feels good and I hope to see more of this formula continue in the next installation.
Good : Story is great. Love the development of Kratos and Arteus. Graphics are clean and up to par.
Bad: Weak combat, everything feels underwhelming. Very short game. No replay value.
42 hours to 100%. Easy platinum.
