Best extraction shooter out there. Art style, gunplay, lore, build craft, no aggression based lobbies.
At first, I was skeptical about the game, but now I can't stop playing it.
One of my favorite horror games. These developers understand perfectly how to manipulate fear. The atmosphere is the main thing here, it's oppressive. Don't listen to whiners who complain that there's no combat here, otherwise the game would be just another shooter like Resident Evil 4, 5, 6, which wouldn't be scary at all.
Another p2w gacha with horrible menus. The graphics are good, but it's not difficult to make decent graphics these days. Combat is just button mashing with clunky mechanics. Overall a cheap game designed to scam people out of their money.
The game is awesome overall. Sound design, atmosphere, graphics. It would be better if it were a first-person game, but it's fine as it is. But there is one caveat - the networking is so bad. Bullets go through walls, you die through walls, your hits aren't registered. Because of this, PvP is simply unplayable and not even interesting. If this is fixed, then the game will be a 9/10.
Loved Tsushima and Yotei is just better in every possible way! Such a great experience with it’s stunning visuals and rich world. Literally the best world exploration I’ve ever seen in a videogame.
The developers have surpassed themselves once again.
Finished the game and I don’t get the hype around it. Music is fantastic, that’s all. The world is empty, absolutely zero exploring, the world just filled with the same mobs, especially by the end of the game. Repetitive combat, ok, it’s turn-based, but It lacks its charisma of classic jrpgs like ff7. Ugly mobile-like game ui, poor level design, lack of enemy variations, easy to overlevel etc etc. 1 for the music.
Death Stranding 2 is a big step forward from the first game — more alive, more refined, and much better paced. The graphics are absolutely stunning, with cinematic landscapes and incredibly detailed character models. Gameplay has improved significantly: there’s more variety, better combat, and less repetitive walking (don’t get me wrong, I still love walking in this game). The story is still weird (in a good way), but it feels more focused and emotionally impactful. Hideo Kojima is a genius, definitely my game of the year.
