With a heavy heart I can't give this Monster Hunter more than a 7. I truly wish I could give more, but there are heavy flaws that can't be ignored. But first the pros: the game is an expected evolution of World, with some nice adding to the gameplay without taking away anything that made the game great. The combat is there, the graphic is good. The main story is meh, but I can't really give much weight to the story in a Monster Hunter. Now the cons: extreme accessibility. Really, how easy this monster Hunter is is disarming. I never ever had to worryabout time, I defeated tempered mosters with subpar gears, never had any use for all the drugs that helped you much in Worlds., I used gems only because I had them and without much tought. So, is a Monster Hunter? Well, yes. But is simply not rewarding, too easy, too accessible. I was hoping this was limited to the main story but really any monster, of any strength, is extremely easy in front of World. Such a disappointment.

This was my very first Armored Core and my, oh my, I guess I've really miss out a great game line here. Now I get from where FromSoftware developed their great game and boss design. Engaging, visually stunning combats - and not easy at all. Great story and setting, I hope to see the continuation of it someday.

It was a long time a game like this needed to be release. Let's put aside how sexy the main character is, because everything in this game shine. The combat is extremely satisfying and not that easy to master. Bosses are great, and some present a real challenge. On top of it, setting and story are also very compelling. With a bit more content and length this would be a 10 round.

The disappoinment this game gave me is overwhelming. Overall every element is subpar, from the artstyle, the gameplay, to the horrible writing. It have some elements of genuine fun here and there but so far in between that are nothing more than specks in a swamo. A total loss of time and money, to not talk about the death of a once great IP.
