Somehow way more fun to me than recent Forza Horizon iterations. It's popcorn fun,don't expect anything serious. But the vibe checks out and it kept me going longer than i expected it to.

Don't know what all the fuzz is about tbh, it's a good entertaining game with good optimization and very few bugs. Don't expect any BG3 and take it for what it is. It's fine.

So, another staple of this industry has fallen into the darkness of unessesary always online for singleplayer content, gamedesign of f2p phone games to make you pay up to $200 in microtransactions for one car and a distinct lack of everything that made the previous six main entries great to begin with. It is only the cherry on top that GT7 is offline for over a day without any info at all as to why and for how long. Give me a GT6 remaster any day over this hollow mess that GT7 claims to be. At least it had solid soundtracks in the past and some bare minimum of classic racetracks which we all know and love. Ingame economy is a joke, everything was designed to pressure you into buying very expensive credits. Took more than a few pages out of EAs book. First party developer, wow. Fan since GT1 peacing out. Turn this around very very quick or fade into obscurity in the future. Happened to bigger franchises in the past.

Failed to deliver on the basics, the open world is shallow and lifeless, the RPG almost nonexistent und its just not fun. All i wanted is an immersive world and some story to go along, but it fails on it's promise. It's just underwhelming and i wasn't even hyped to begin with. Sad days for CDPR.
