It was very creative and had some fun and challenging puzzle but also some puzzles that just seemed impossible to figure out. After getting stuck on 30 cubes I gave up finishing it cause the puzzles just got too confusing with the game having its own kind of coding that I thought I'd figured out but evidently not. It is worth a go.

Well the visuals are stunning I did enjoy much else. For a mouse Quill is neither swift nor agile. The combat is also extremely lacking and not very fun. With the linear paths it left the scenery as nothing more than spectical and didn't have any exploration. Well I get the theme of it being a book and constant page turns to load really dragged and I found the story was too slow and uninteresting. I'll give the next one a go since it ended so openly but I'm not holding my breath.

This short but fun DLC offers more abilities that had me constantly switching to try out or just fling myself across the map. It offers a bit more complexity to the quests but it still a simple and pleasant play.

I loved it the first time and I replayed for the DLC and still loved it. It knows what it is but is still filled with references and cute tasks and although it may seem simple there's a surprising amount of customisation from the swords, shields and abilities.

It had a cute style and all I'd heard was praise so my expectations may have been too high but I didn't really enjoy it. Puzzles were easy and not a lot of room for messing around or creative solving. Even though you could leave the book you would be stuck until it was obvious you had to explore the 3D world so no exploration. The dialogue was always stating the obvious so I quickly started skipping it.

It is a very cute game but I wish there was a hint system or a better difficulty scale because some could be really hard while others were surprisingly easy.

I can understand why it's a classic and I knew it was clunky and not for everyone. I liked the beginning but the more I played it the more cracks started showing. Worth trying but not completing.

Despite the pretty visuals this game was so awful to play I didn't finish it. The combat was unusable from the major lag, bad combos, weak weapons and annoying slowmo for every kill. The animations were all so slow but you had to go through every motion before doing the next thing which dragged everything. The breakable and rotten items was so annoying a long with space management. The wind aspect of the sailing made me was to never explore because took so long to get anywhere and was never blowing in the direction I wanted or would change so quickly. I think the idea was good but so much of the execution ruined it all.

While the ending was confusing I enjoyed the challenges and combat. The story was interesting and although I wasn't satisfied with all of it, it did make me want to know more. The visuals were nice and darker elements effective. The liked the characters and music and would be interested if there was ever a continuation of the story or world.

Visually and music it's quite nice but unfortunately I just didn't enjoy it as it was too easy, too tedious and too repetitive. Felt more like it was trying to be an experience than a game which I was looking for.

Cheap and quick with just enough challenge to not be make you try a couple times. Good for killing time as there's not much to it.

Firstly it is very broken on switch which is unfortunate so would recommend playing on PC however despite the bugs I've put 100s of hours into it. The characters are fun, there's endless thing to do or collect and the home decore is probably the best I've played in any game. It truly is free to play with the pay mechanics being cosmetics only. It looks like the creators truly care and listen to the community even if they can be a little slow. With the elderwood update they've added so much more to bring in new and keep old plays coming.

I come back to it every now and again and it still makes me happy. So much variety and customisation. A wonderful style that has me wanting so many things in game has in real life. There are some issues, repetitive characters, no mini games like previous ones apparently had and they stopped updating it way too early but given that I have 1000+ hours in it clearly I felt it was enough.

Repaying it and still so good. Does it have some issues like the sages abilities not being as good or fluid as previous, repetitive cutscenes (ei. The sages), an awful sorting system and the none linear memories spoiling too much if not done correctly, oh yeah big time. However the fact that it can play on the switch with it's expansive land and unlimited possibilities makes it a technological masterpiece.

The visuals are nice but unfortunately that's probably the only good thing I have to say. I did get it super cheap, 80-90% off and that's probably the only way I'd recommend trying but even then I'd say skip it. The music is so quiet I can never tell if there is any. The puzzles are most just push buttons to unlock more buttons. Even some of the better puzzles would eventually just have you pushing buttons. The story was fine and the characters were pretty boring.
