Legitimate great game. One of the best and most creative survival craft games ever, mixing Pokemon, fantasy and sci-fi in the most chaotic and fun way possible. The Pal's designs are great, their skills can end up being repetitive, but they are varied in their ways to each Pal. There is also a great story, but it is very poorly given. It tries to give exposition through journals but other than the rare environment and quest story beats, the good story fails to shine, only really being good at the last 2 major regions. It's always fun to fly around on the back of a fire bird, swim on a ice whale, jump and dash on a electric horse, it never gets old, the game really makes you feel like a monster tamer in the best ways.

One of the best "artsy" video games out there. I'm not a huge fan of mid 90's nostalgia, but I recognise the appeal. The "gameplay" part is lacking, but it excels in all other areas. The characters are fun, they keep it tight, and while the story isn't all that, it delivers the slice of life point well. The stand outs are the music and the art style, as well as the amazing voice over work. It's a very short game, so you might not feel like you get all the bang for your bucks, but as far as the game alone goes, it's very sweet.

A great premise for a narrative choice focused game but its poorly implemented and lacks focus. The idea of time loop where you can re-do your choices and learn things as you go along is great video game logic, but you can tell very quickly the game is focused on exploring themes of mental health more than anything. Not that it's bad, it does have some moments, and it could lead to intresting mysteries regarding mental cognition and the loop itself, but the narrative is too linear to allow it, and, while it pains me to say this, to artsy fartsy for me. I like reading the MC opinions on obscure stuff, but afer the 100th wall of text on how writing on the side **** cabinet represents the fear of death and whatnot, its just annoying. The game also does something I hate in movies/series. Without going into spoilers, its very obvious there was no real idea on how to end the game and its story, so by the end, the story just breaks every rule in the loop and lets the player to piece the impossibility in the credits. You can justify it by "its the acceptance of mental health progress" but no, its just plot holes and blue balls. There is stuff to like here still. Learning more about the Valley and learning about the characters is fun. Trying to fight the loop and go with the loop is intresting. If you are a fan of therapy and going to a bout of seasonal depression, you might like this, just don't expect any personal revelations or a deep expanding narrative

I can't help but feel this is a waste of time. Reusing enemies from all the previous games, reusing armors, weapons, moves, settings, everything is pulled exaclty the same from Elden Ring. And it could be a fun addition to the game, but I can't help but think its a waste of time for the incredible talent in FromSoft. It makes me scared for the direction and future of one of the single best single player game makers. Still, judging the game alone, there is stuff to like. If the game takes all it has from Elden Ring, then it simply has some of the best enemy design, weapon and power design and map as well. It all feels very disjointed and mushed together, completly out of balance and without the appeal of discovery and world conection that makes FromSoft games so unique, but its still more Elden Ring. It can be something intresting for a few 20-30h, and hopefully is not a beguining of a worrying shift in focus for them

One of the single best RPG's I've ever played, and I've played a lot. A great splash of JRPG goodness too, for those that aren't intrested in round base combat, E33 works really hard to change your mind by doing QTE's during the attacks and defenses. With every character having their own unique fighting mechanic it puts other round based combat games to shame. Exceptional enemy design and incredible music that usually matches the enemy attack and dynamicly changes in the important fights, it really fells like art, in all the best ways. Also, the story is absolutly incredible and so are the side characters. They all elevate the plot and makes you invested in the world. The story is also not shy with its gut punches and plot twists and retwists of all varieties. Going into this without guides is 100% the way to go. This game deserved the multiple awards it got

I let down ****. I might be biased, since "World of Darkness" is such an amazing setting, one of THE best paranormal settings we have, and seeing such a poor adaptation really stings. I think the very best part of the game is its story though. It's a intresting concept that unfortunatly bleeds from a thousand plot holes and Deus Ex Machinas. It is also weighed down by some absolutly bad side plots that do nothing and are just infuriatingly bad. All this drag the story down hard. The voice work is hit or miss, sometimes it can be actually good, but never really great, and then sometimes its "we recorded this guy in the street with 0 background or experience" It really hits you with whiplash sometimes, specially when the voice absolutly doens't match the character. The gameplay is serviceable, by the 10h mark you more or less know how everything works. The enemies are allways the same, you got 3 or 4 types that are re-colours depending on the faction, with maybe 3 actuall bosses. There are barely any RPG mechanics and choice and consequence system is ridiculous as is the tacked on romance system that the game really should have not included, that's how bad it is. Let's just hope this doesn't put other studios from doing more with the franchise, because the potential is definitly there, and it hurts to see it squandered

A good RPG, improves on the formula, expands the world, developes the plots from the previous game, a good and worthy sequel. One of those cases that if you liked the first game, you will very much like this one. If you like RPGs or Sci-fi games, then you'll probably like this one too. The story is good, I enjoy the comedy for the most part, the game also doesn't butcher its more emotional moments with dumb laughs like a lot of Marvel tropes, so there are some actuall good sad/emotional beats. The companions though, ehhhhh, not really my thing. I think they are kinda bland, have a few hits here and there, but overall, not too bad. The gameplay is great, I really like the power system and the weapons, could do with a bit more variety, but its good. The flaw system is also a great adition.

One of the best "tell tale" games. The consequences of choices are super massive, considering only a few per episode actually change anything and usually it's in minor ways, but the ones that matter, matter a lot. I also love that consequences are tied with gameplay itself, it's something games like this often overlook. The story is excelent, don't be put off by "yet another super hero story" this is a great exemply on how to do this type of worlds vibe well. Great vilain, great plot twists, great emotional moments and the game works hard to make you feel emotionally invested in the characters, not a cheap "we are killing puppies and grandmas, be sad now" style. The voice work is also incredible, and so is the music. The gameplay is fine. I liked it but it is simplistic, can be addicting in a mobile game type of way. Makes me excited for a sequel or a new story in the same universe, since the concept behind it is so intresting

A true icon of videogames. Never played the Mass Effect games growing up. Playing all 3 back to back, specially the older titles is like a time capsule of western gaming. Seeing the growth of the game and the genre is awsome. And all this before even talking about the games themselvs. Kind of incredible how sucha complex "world" building went into what was a simple history. It elevates the story and gives space for the next games to really expand. What an incredible setting. Trully memorable missions and game beats, emotinal, funny, sad, uplifting. This is RPG storytelling at its best. The gameplay suffers from the expected control problems and power progession is lacking, typical of 2010's RPGs, but it carries the game well enough and a shorter game compared to today's bloated player retention games makes it so you never really get bored with it. By the time you see and do everything, the game is just about to wrap up. Some of the best voice work and music in gaming as well. Trully a unique gaming experience, fully recomend

I love games that try something new and aren't afraid to explore more "out there" stories, but I also hate "artsy-fartsy" games. It's like, I love art, but hate abstractionism. Control tip toes the line with its story, so you might love it, or you might just get frustated. It's a story straight vibing like the Lost series, a bunch of conspirecies and threads, but some are there just to bring weirdness, some are plot holes and some weave a great story that rewards being carefull and paying atention. Gameplay wise, it has some strenghts, dashing and flying around a shadow government office building is fun, using Jesse's powers is fun, and the guns are okay, but eventually everything starts looking the same, and the unique wow factor fades. It doesn't help that the enemies are repetitive and the game does the thing were it spawns infinite waves of them if you keep returning to the same area. In a game that requires you to backtrack and search back and forth an area for objectives, it gets anoying really quick. Also, the game has the worst map I've ever seen in a videogame since Starfield while giving you quests like finding an hidden item in a huge area with 0 pointers other than "yeah, its in this section" so consider going for a guide for this sections, wich is never a good thing. All in all, actually a good take on the X-Files/STCP genre, weird but compeling story, decent gameplay and some genuine WOW moments.

One of the best games i've ever played, but also a game I have a hard time recomending. It cranks up the dificulty to 11 and keeps the outdated mechanics that have long since been removed from soulslikes. The thing is, Silksong does this with intention and the friction exits to enhance the story and as intended gameplay, not as a mistake lazy work. The problem is that the friction is there and you either love it or suffer through it. Is Silksong a great game despite it or because of it? For me, its despite it. Amazing music, huge enemy variety, huge boss variety, huge weapon and power variety, together with absolutly smooth controls, unrivaled by any other sidescroler (when you finally click with them after 15h, but definitly worth the work you put it, if you learn and get better the game will 100% reward you for it) makes Silksong a truly unique game and worth the Hollow Knight name

Good entree to the Roguelike genre. Third person shooter bullet hell is as fun and as enraging as it sounds. When it works, you fell like a bad ass, dodging and weaving enemy waves, shoting your way through hordes of aliens; when it doesn't and you are victim to bad luck on weapon draws, you can fell bad and that you wasted the last 20 min of a doomed run. The game also lacks in the continous progession system that is so comon in the Rogelikes, mostly you'll progress story wise and unlock 2 or 3 abilities that can make next runs easier, as well as expanding the pool of weapons and upgrades you can find in next runs. This pool is also not massive, and i personally only ever used 3 of the weapons on offer as I felt that some were definitly better than others (in a game that punishes any damage taken even if it doens't kill you and that rewards keeping your distance, you can see how a long range homing missile rifle does better than a mine laying gun) The stroy is weird, but you can piece it together, its no Darksouls story telling, but it can suffer from being unsatisfactory. Definitly a unique game and fun

A great strategy/SIM game. Not the massive spreadsheet gameplay that other more invested stragy games can be, but that works in its favour. Very very very indept mechanics regarding personal relations between the character and the world. As you play as a ruler, it's the conections you make that change the world, not just the armies you move around and the economy you grow. Straigh up befriending and romancing your rivals, as well as setting up strategic marrieges has as much impact as large scale wars, as you can set the next generation that you play to be heir to rival kingdoms or empires. Very fun, playing in difrent areas of the world keeps it fresh, as difrent cultures and religions change up the gameplay. The problem is that sometimes its too much to keep track of, certain events happen and you don't know if its because someone is a craven traitor or because the game AI did a opsie or because you stole a dude's cheese 15 years ago.

One of the best atmosphere in a game I've seen. It's hard to pull off the desolated post apocalipse well, this is the vibe Fallout wishes it could pull off, even if the more serious tone of Metro definitly helps. There is a lack of enemy variety and the enviornemnt can also drag a bit in its variety. Memorable main cast, though the voice acting can sometimes be great, sometimes amatourish, at least in the ENG VA. Guns aren't too varied, standart pistol/rifle/shotgun combo with a unique style rifle that you upgrade as you go on, but they do the job. Interesting story too, keeps you moving forward and invested in the characters. Another solid entree to the Metro world, that, between the books and the games, doesn't miss.

Great game. If you like big mechs and big guns, then 100% will be up your alley. Otherwise, its a fun action game, good controls (even if it lacks some needed game options to costumize them as well as lack of some industry standard quality of life), a little hard at times due to some harsh dificulty spikes on bosses, but not too bad. Great weapon variety, but the general big rifle and big gun aproach is also viable. The mission progression can be a little samey by the end and most characters other than the main ones are forgetable, but the story is good and the voice acting is phenomenal. Also, important to point out that the mech design and customization is incredible, so if you like to paint your character and spend some time looking cool (or paint your mech lime green with neon pink) than you will be well served

Its a quality jRPG but it ends up suffering from too much bloat. Some of the main levels (aka Palaces) can be fun for a while, but end up being repetitive. The Pokemon style battles end up being formulaic and the monsters themselvs look cool in a edgy kinda way. The whole game is in fact full edgy as can be, and its so proud of it that it makes it good. The artistic confidence does major heavy lifting, giving the game a great unique personality. Its a either you like it or you don't kinda thing. The game is at its best when handling crazy stories and managing the wacky personalities of the main cast. Definitly memorable characters and vilains. 100% must buy for fans of JRPGs and turn based aficionados, but if you don't like that genre, then you might get sick of trying to eat this massive and thick game

It's a good game. Comes off with a weak initial story and game mechanic, beingvery railroady, but it gets better as it opens up. Big fan of the more serious areas when the game opens up, even if the story never allows the player to figure things out by themselves. it plays it very safe, and it shows. The combat is good, even if the scenarios are cookie cutter and the enemies, even the bosses are repetitive. Be ready to fight the same 3 cultist, the same 3 darkspawn, the same 3 undead, and the same 3 big horn guys over and over and over. Even the mini bosses are the same again and again. The game shines some times, and unless you come expecting a 9/10 game, you'll still enjoy it.I did

The story is good. One of the best in Diablo. As you start the game and discover the game and the map you have fun and grow powerful. After 20h you realise you have seen everything in the game. The map is big and there are many dungeons, but they are just reskins of the same 5 dungeons. The enemy variety also ends quickly. As you grow, you find that enemies scale with you, so you get weaker and weaker and you level up, only having the upper hand on some level up capstones. Same with items. The vast majority of item effects are just stat changes, very few have interesting effects that change how you play. And if you find something you like, there is a 50/50 that is a non viable build that you wouldn't know is horrible until you search for guides. Not to mention some classes are vastly weaker than others. End game is grindy in a bad way, easily making it boring and not worth after the story is done. Side question are repeated over and over, same for dungeons and end game events. Add that to the new Season 1, in which everything was nerfed to make it grindier and make players weaker, just signs for a continuation of a bad gameplay. if you love Diablo, you'll take 20 or 30 hours of fun out it. Otherwise, not worth the AAA price tag
