Gets boring after a while. There are many characters, but many are transformations. The DB super content is a breath of fresh air as would gt be content if it were included. there is also no way to change the health bar settings to make fights longer without using items which is stupid much like the cheap slide shows and copy and paste graphics. many the episode storys lines are just the same battles over and over again with all the characters they could have made episodes like the movie characters and have missed lots of chapters from dbz and super. some of the what if storys are interesting and not, and the requirements to unlock them are very hard for some, which is not acceptable to be locked out of content because the challenges are too hard like the time based nonsense in which you are not even told the time or requirement at times. luckly there are dragon orbs to help, deliberately created to make you grind hard lol. The AI is very unpredictable and can behave differently on different characters, making it frustrating in certain episode battles. The what-if content and the difficulty to unlock through certain requirements is one of the biggest problems with the game and is why it loses marks as silly Japanese developers enjoy making it hard and grindy. Overall, it should of focused on db super or movies more because your not really going to get a better then dbz kakarot and the UI is also bloated and tedious to navigate.
Had such potential, but is ruined by silly friendship mechanics, and the combat is nothing like xcom 2, which is the benchmark. You will soon get tired of the excessive talking and cutscenes of characters, and this was clearly done because the actual gameplay is nonexistent. Then you finally get to the battle, which are slow and boring, and the card concept is also overcomplicated and dull. When all you need to do is have many maps like xcom 2 gameplay and cover. The upgrading, reasearch, friendship and more is all designed to make you grind for better cards, which is slow and boring. Overall, the story and graphics are good, but you could of centred around the Avengers where the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier is your base, similar to xcom 2 style. I found myself skipping dialogue because I was bored of the talking simulator and needed far more combat, which lasts minutes if you know what you are doing. The formula did not need to change and the reality is if you don’t grind by talking, doing friendship activities etc, you won't progress. Can't believe so much time was wasted on this, when XCOM 3 is the clear seller. So much in this game could have been cut and is not needed like the mansion. You could have made and customised your own Super Team xcom style. I am very disappointed at the potential wasted here and still no xcom 3.
Massively wasted potential and a lazy game model of doing the same things over and over for the main and side missions. With the exception of some missions and boss fights, the rest of the game is garbage and tedious like the enemies. There was a good story here like the comics, but might of been better if you had been Batman instead. The customisation of characters is poor and you will have to pay silly fees for some clothing when Gotham Knights was just throwing them at you. The loot rewards after every mission are stupid and ruin the game, which clearly is one giant multiplier designed to make you grind for pointless loot. Overall, you can replay missions which is good but there really there is little point other than for boss battles. You are far better off only doing the main missions as it will get tedious very quickly. The level design and graphics are great, of metropolis. In the end, it is a multiplayer arena for grinding loot and xp, which will go on and on after the end of the game. Much like the Riddler's voice, if you could be bothered going through his riddles.
Great flying space combat, but the story is not very interesting and would have done better, been more like Star Wars or Battlestar Galactica. Many main and side missions were boring and tedious.
Overall, better customisation of the ship would of been nice and better maps as the areas are quite empty and boring. In the end, it is worth playing if you like your space and air combat games.
This game is an interesting mixed bag. They kill the main character off and destroy the old Arkham combat system and fill the game with grindy tasks and missions of the same types to sometimes to progress through he main story. The main story is not that good, there is way to much dialogue and sob storys about Batman. The main villains are nonexistent, with the 3 side missions being a breath of fresh air for a short time bringing back some old favorites The graphics and customisation of skins are very good, but the grinding for them is pointless, like the upgrading. Too much is needlessly locked in tasks to do and grind like fast travel. The driving mechanics are some of the worst I have seen, and the framerate is sluggish, as 60fps is definitely needed in combat. Overall, with the game having a new game plus you there is some replayability, but overall, the Arkham games are vastly superior in many ways. But this is its own unique story, which many will not like. Early Batman and Robin is far more interesting, as that is the peak time for all the villians and the arrival of Batman's sidekicks.
Nothing more than a loot grind, picking up pointless things and doing the same type of missions over and over. The UI is some the worst I have and is tedious upgrading the same stuff over and over.
Even the main campaign isnt really a campaign it's just a collection of garbage gameplay, much like the story, which is stupid and poor. The main villains are non-existent, and you are left playing kamala khan for a lot of the game, who is a minor character. The main enemies are robots over and over again. The whole thing seemed like it is designed for multiplayer grinding and overall it's an embarrassment to the franchise. Even the customisation is far to numerous as you are given many skins to choose from, which just isn't necessary. A couple of main missions may keep you entertained for short period but 90% of the game is poor.
Great graphics and great veriety of gameplay. Unfortunately ww2 has been done to death and many may get bored. The long cutscenes and characters may not be for everyone but overall it is a solid game.
The game is fairly enjoyable, like its predecessors, though it becomes very repetitive, especially if you are doing side missions. As they are mainly far too similar, as is the formula of the game. More fighting giant monsters is far more interesting, though this is a remake. Overall the customising skins are good, but the bugs and crashes are an unacceptable let down for Xbox XS as they were quite numerous and the game has been out for some time now and patched. The checkpoint and saving system saved some time with this, but also left it open to save data corruption because there is no manual save.
Mediocre story and repetitive combat over and over. You can stealth or Assault, but it all gets tedious when you don't care about the plot or characters. Don't forget to keep sniffing them plants.
Boring story and characters. Side missions and fetch quests are shocking and should be avoided. Developers are ruining games with this type of thing. There is a perk for every day of the week, and by the end, you will not care as it gets too tedious. There are the same enemies spawning over and over in a boring, dull environment, while you waste your life picking plants; it's all pathetic grinding. It's far better to avoid everything except the main story and keep your armour upgraded. The final boss is the only change-up in combat in the whole game. If it wasn't for the customising, the score would be a lot lower.
Way too difficult and punishing. Overall, it's designed to make you grind by dying over and over again through learning patterns. Though if this is how you want to spend your time, all the best to you, because the visual presentation isn't anything special, and there is always darksouls to grind away at.
Same levels over and over again.
Same gameplay tasks over and over.
Shocking, Dumb Ai teammates.
The gameplay is also ruined by AI programmed to move sideways all
The time which is annoying and stupid. Overall, it's one giant mess with cheap cutscenes, and it wasn't even worth half price on release.
Played Diablo 3, then this for the first time, and I must say the story is garbage, as is the lore. The gameplay and graphics are nice, as you would expect, but this is just one giant grind. Had to finish the story on a difficulty that was far too easy for the character's level, because you are locked out of most of the difficulty settings till you finish the game. Penitent should be unlocked from the start. By the end, I was paragon 50 level, which made expert very easy, and I would not be playing again or doing the boring, tedious fetch side quests. 85% of the side quests are boring, as are the characters, as I skipped most of the dialogue. The whole game needs a complete reboot with a far better story. Quality is always better than quantity. Also, it must be said how tedious and boring it is to improve loot gear all the time. I must have wasted 3 hours of game time doing this, and anyone who enjoys this needs their head examined. There is way too much loot and running about visiting merchants to improve things. You should be able to do this yourself quick and easy. Lastly, the DLC prices are disgusting. The price of vessel of Hatred is shocking for that small little region, and a new character wow. Unfortunately, there is no replay value because the story is garbage and the game is one giant grind.
It could have been great if it were more of a first-person shooter at times. Doing puzzles and climbing gets boring, and melee combat is not that great. The Graphics, the maps and the voice work are what make the game. It should have taken a page out of Deadfall Adventures on how to balance everything and not get boring at times. With more action, it could have been a 9 easily and appealed to a larger audience who don't just want stealth and puzzles.
Terrible concept awful story and silly boring game mechanics. You know your out of ideas when your doing the same thing over and over. If you die and don't want to stealth your doing the same thing again. This and redfall are shocking but this one I ain't finishing. Characters dull and annoying and level design is ugly.
Shocking grinding mess **** I had no patience to finish Shockly bad stamina system with terrible puzzles over and over and if you don't like them in any way your doomed because they are part of the story. Everything in this game is puzzle and a grind. Overall I love greek mythology but even the story was not funny and childish. the graphics and customizing is good but the map is dead empty like the enemies and garbage loot you grind for. All ubisoft understand is how to extract the most money from you from add-ons most of there games follow the same story boring grindy rubbish designed to slow you down so you buy an addon. No one should quit a game because there forced to do childish puzzles.
One of the best COD games of all time. Raven Software have always been light years ahead in the single-player market making some of my favourite games and has put right the wrongs of the Remake abomination that is MW3. The time it takes to get into the game still needs work as there are to many loading screens and checks rendering quick resume useless. Said that the game was mixed up and was a lot more enjoyable than Cold War. If the magic of the original modern warfare story could have been captured it would certainly be the best.
It's a shocking garbage story much like the last one only this time the game is patched up with warzone-type missions. The developers not only could not invest in a decent story, but they thought it would be good to copy and paste giant garbage warzone maps into a game and series known for good storytelling and great graphics. This is laughable and embarrassing to play and clearly a massive cash grab and I have never played a single-player campaign where I thought I was playing multiplayer. They should of left the MW series alone didn't need retelling and botching up like this.
Garbage story, glitched achievements, and asking for game pass subscription to play the campaign. Are these the signs of things to come with xbox/Microsoft most likely because greed is paramount in these companies. luckily I could play the game offline i was lucky there not just because a campaign was included this time but because i have never been forced to play a game offline which I paid money for LOL. AWFUL EXPERIENCE from developers who cant story tell like the past and only have a dull multiplayer and nice graphics on there side.
missions are too short and boring and the controls using the throttle and moving at once are to difficult you need either a flight stick or ace combat-like controls. either way, it does not compare to battle stations Pacific in gameplay
The story below-par, side missions are so repetitive and you forced to do the same thing over and over with little change or inivation. The abilities are too numerous are should be cut down to a xcom level. Weapon Upgrades are too repetitive to collect and opening cases over an over are boring and I don't like loot crates. You are forced to take characters on missions and are capped sometimes on how many, unlike xcom you can field six and are attached to these characters, more is always better. But in this game, you are forced to care and use characters you never created or wanted which creates little attachment. Its certainly not on xcom`s level but has some similarity in gameplay but doesn't get me excited to play it again straight away. If abilities and weapon upgrades were more like xcoms it would get a higher score but the story needs to be way more interesting to be on par with xcom which gives you far more to do including base managing.
good little game if you but a bit of time into it and explore the maps it helps I must stress some maps are quite difficult and tend to get hard as they go along.
One of the worst nfs games since The Run. Story was boring skipped most of it. Side story’s also boring with no idea why rally/off-roading is in this game, The big main issues the whole game is massive grind over hundred cars that you will never get because they are so expensive so would have to spent 50+ hours extra to get your dream cars if not more doing the same races over and over. That’s not to mention the night races mechanics where you will lose all you money multiple times from very aggressive cops just so you can get rep to unlock more cars. The whole system is mess and massive frustrating grind. You shouldn’t spent more than 20 hours on this game but to get what you want it will 50+ which is not worth it because the game is so boring after 2 hours. Hot pursuit was a great game because you could take cars down multiple ways, that is would is needed here against the cops. Pro Street was also a good game what had different races unlike this which is just the same over and over after like after 6 hours. Certainly wont be be replaying this ever and luckly i got it from game pass.
I would have given this a 10/10 if it was not for the no quick travel, dark souls like combat along with way to much backtracking. If you’re like me and went for 100% it is a massive grind and could not understand why your force abilities are not given from the start. I found the companions mostly boring through it does get interesting at the end and the night sister could have had more of a part. The map is really good but the areas are so long and up and down its sometimes difficult to have clue where you’re going, it really needs like something to guide you that you follow to the area of the map you want to get to or some form of fast travel. Lightsaber customizing etc. is amazing which i haven’t seen since jedi academy. The recent addition of new game plus and the mediation chamber are really good.
