Again, after years of “improvement”, this game has gotten worse in regards of starting a game online. It’s a lobby simulator, because of the moronic fan base this game has. Numb nuts’ quitting constantly, in the pre game lobby, for whatever reason. Awful, awful. Gen Z and beyond are showing that the earth will end way sooner than it should , because of the horrible, inept, arrogant, POS attitude that these generations have. Hopefully a nice stint in world war 3 will thin them out!

This is the comfort food of video games! Fantastic game overall, the gameplay, graphics, story, the dialogue, pretty much everything this game has to offer is top notch quality. There never really is a dull moment and I felt the characters and their dialogue were endearing and amusing in the fact that they didn't take themselves too seriously for the most part. It felt natural and not forced in any way. I was also a fan of the licensed tunes, it really adds to Star-Lords aesthetic/storyline. It is a little on the easy side, but don't let that deter you from experiencing this gem ****. If it does deter you, maybe you should stop being a video game hardo and enjoy the ride every now and then. Thumbs up!

Alan Wake Remastered2
Dec 2, 2021
The remastered version was my first experience playing this one. Even with the remaster, I was not impressed with any supposed graphical improvements, the story was OK but the dialogue was not. Everything seemed very forced in that regard and didn't seem natural. I got to the second chapter and it took my at least 20 times to get through a part. I had to walk backwards for a good mile, while shining my flash light on an OP giant, meanwhile there are 3+ other enemies running toward me when I have only 6 bullets. Every hit I took almost completely crippled me, thus leading to constant dying. Not fun, at all. I can appreciate a challenge but this was insanely frustrating. Crap @$$ game, glad I rented it as opposed to purchasing this dated and overrated piece of crap.

Fantastic game! Been a fan of Supermassive since Until Dawn, I think this is the best one since Until Dawn IMO (after playing every other Supermassive title since). People bashing this are dumb, yes, its not Call of Duty, yes it's a story game for the most part, you should know what you're getting into before you start playing, just by using the internets. The world of games does not exist in FPS' only, there are genre's existing outside of that (as you should know, people giving bad reviews). I thought the characters were believable, the action was enough to keep you focused, and the possibilities of different endings was plentiful. It was pretty short, but, there are many possibilities to replay and have a completely different ending. All in all, I liked it a lot. Definitely a good break considering all I play usually are FPS' and sports games. Thumbs up! Good for a rental or a buy if you're a SuperMassive fan like me.

I actually really dig the new gameplay! The passing and player movement is much, much better than any other previous game. Some people will complain about it, but, personally I think the realism of having a backhand saucer pass being slower and more innacurate, is what this game needed. Not super accurate backhand laser passes up and down the ice when holding R2 for .2 seconds like in previous versions. The be a pro is still lacking, still very boring cut scenes/dialogue. I wish they would make be a pro like they did for the Fifa series where there is an actual storyline and other characters that play a role in your career. I'm sure the rating will change for me once I encounter the inevitable drop in moron who calls for a pass every millisecond, but, for now, I like the more realistic gameplay and I can see myself having more fun playing solo modes than ever before. I have yet to test how impossible 'All-star' difficulty is yet, but if it is manageable and challenging without having to customize sliders, that will be a huge win for this game. I don't really play HUT as it is a 'pay to play' mode, so can't really speak on it. There is no cross-play yet, but, frankly that doesn't bother me very much, I don't need to knit pick and cry over things that aren't available upon release. I'm sure this issue will be fixed, and even if it isn't, I'm happy with playing against PS5 only players. Overall, although there hasn't been many changes in gameplay modes, the gameplay itself feels different than the last 10 years of NHL games. More realistic feel that rewards players that have accuracy in saucer passing over someone who prefers easy/automatic passing. If you're and NHL regular and up for a more realistic NHL gaming experience I'd recommend this game. There's definitely more that could've been done, but this is definitely an improvement and heading in the right direction as a franchise.

Diablo II: Resurrected8
Sep 29, 2021
Preface: I'm pretty much a Diablo n00be, I've only had a brief experience with Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls. This game is the whole acton/RPG genre personified, and playing it I can see where future games of the like gets its formula and why Diablo is so popular. I only had a few minor issues when booting it up initially (creating a **** account was kind of a pain in the @ss). Other than that, I didn't have many issues with internet connection. With all of the negative reviews you'd think these people are still running a 56k modem. I'm currently building up an assassin from scratch playing online solo. After a few hours, you start to get how the game works overall, and even with that, it is still very addicting even though you know what to expect for the most part. Definitely a grindy game, like almost every other action/RPG. Awesome graphics, insane replay value, I think it's worth the $40 considering you have hundreds if not a thousand hours of replay value. I'm usually not really into RPG's, but this game is making me consider trying out more recent titles because of this game. Enjoying it so far!

Life is Strange: True Colors6
Sep 23, 2021
This was an OK game. I thought the story was pretty interesting and the characters are pretty well developed. There are also some moments/twists that come out of no where to keep things interesting and break up the monotony of the tedious nature of the dialogue. A lot of times throughout the game I feel the characters are a little slow when reacting to each others dialogue which made it feel kind of robotic. Your choices only make small differences as well, not effecting the outcome in a major way. The game certainly holds your hand throughout, so there is really no difficulty or challenges in completing it. Very much a story only game which makes a lot of it very boring. I'd recommend this as a rental to collect easy trophies/achievements, definitely not worth the $60 price tag.

Decent game, I had fun for the first couple of hours. It certainly does get repetitive, even on co-op mode. More often than not, in Co-op you're teamed up with some goon that plays 5+ hours a day that expects you to know the ins and outs off the bat, rushing ahead and getting pummeled because he acts like he has something else better to do. Y'know, typical co-op randoms BS. The other thing that annoys me about this game, is that in solo mode you can't pause the game. You'd think by now that developers would realize this totally **** when playing solo, but I guess thats why this game is priced the way it is. It does remind me of Gears of War Hoard mode (which I haven't played honestly in over 10 years now), so, if you're into non stop waves of enemies popping out at nearly every moment, this game is for you. Personally, I like games that can pace itself properly, allow you to pause in solo mode, and don't team you up with wannabe Spider-mans that expect you to read their minds for strategic advantage. Definitely a rental unless you have a couple friends that are into this kinda thing.

Unfortunately, this is one of the games I keep coming back to, simply because I'm decent at it and have fun when on an aware/unselfish team. It's too bad that rarely happens. If you play this game for EASHL drop-ins, it can be torturous. Selfish a$$holes constantly calling for the puck if a CPU has the puck for .01 seconds, while they're double covered, leading to turnovers and frustrating goals against. Most of the people you get teamed up with don't care about winning or passing, just getting their touches in which typically leads to a neutral zone turnover. Most people have no issues embarassing themselves, which is pretty sad. I would really like to see these people in real life so I can laugh at how pathetic they are overall. Anyways, other than that, the game is very similar to last years with a few new moves added along with an upgrade in Be a pro. Certainly not worth the $60 price tag. My advice is only get this game if you're in a good club that plays often. If you're relying on an enjoyable experience with randoms in drop-ins, then get ready for an anuersym because the stupidity of anonymous players is incomprehensible and downright scary.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus4
Jul 6, 2020
PROS: Storyline - Was entertaining, absurd, and had a very much larger than life feel to it. There was a ton of cut scenes, but, IMO this was the game's bread and butter. Music - Whoever produced the music for this game is awesome! There's a super heavy song at the beginning menu that was great. Even for the silly cut scene's there is a dynamic and well performed music parts that I thought sounded much better than other games in its genre. Simple mechanics - Very simple gameplay in the sense that you'll never be confused in upgrading weapons, collecting items, or using weapons. It's pretty dumbed down which I like as it doesn't overcomplicate gaemplay. Saving: Although some people may complain this takes the difficulty out of the game, I like this feature as the difficulty and amount of enemies at some points in the game are frustrating. CONS: Gameplay movement - I felt B.J. moved too fast and it felt too cartoony in that sense. The melee kills are a little over the top but hey, thats Wolfenstein. The aiming is fine but I feel the player movement somewhat takes away from it. Difficulty - WOW! Even on Medium this game can get tedious. Thank God you can save whenever you want otherwise it would ****. Some parts enemies will come literally from every angle, and on Medium it takes about 5 seconds to die when this happens. A bit too harsh for me. Towards the end of the game it becomes hilarious for all the wrong reasons. The stealth **** too. Even when carefully maneuvering through levels, you'll always get caught eventually, and then literally every enemy in that giant part of the map swarm you relentlessly. It is god-damn awful and honestly not fair. Graphics - I don't know what it is about Bethesda, but their graphics always are weird. There is a mastered 'shine' in the game, but at the same time their are moments where large pixels are noticed and it just looks sloppy/lazy. There was one point where I was throwing nades at an enemy through a hole through a ceiling, an the grenades just bounced off the hole like it was solid ground. SMH. Overall, good/funny story that addresses real issues in the world today and yesterday. The music was great, the overall gameplay was OK but also felt rushed. The graphics looked like standard Bethesda style. The difficulty felt stupidly overwhelming at times (imagine getting the 'Mein Leben' trophy?!). I think the Bethesda could've added a little more to this game. This game could be an 8 if its serious technical/gameplay flaws could be addressed and updated.

Alien: Isolation7
Jun 25, 2020
I agree with most of the reviews on this so I'll keep it simple.. PROs - CPU AI is impressive (especially the Xenomorph, can be hard even on Medium!) - Sound design (sets a tense and scary atmosphere) - Player movement (Smooth) - Overall gameplay - Aesthetic and environment is it's greatest strength (also abiding to the Alien universe) CONs - Backtracking constantly - Dying after progressing quite a bit before you can get to a save spot (can be insanely frustrating) - Limited supplies and the weapon wheel is sometimes hard to navigate in the heat of battle - Near the end of the game, the alien is constantly on your a$$ no matter how quiet you are, thus requiring a lot of RE-DO's - Story wasn't that great. It followed the storylines of previous Alien's, but, I didn't find it very intriguing. But it didn't have to be. Overall, I thought it was a really well designed game and I can't believe it took me until 2020 to play it! I love the horror aesthetic and sound design that went into this game. I really wish they would make a Predator game like this Alien game! It would be amazing to have to combat/hide against a smart A.I. Predator in this kind of single player setting. I think it would be worth SEGA or whoever else could develop a game like this to look into acquiring Predator's licenses for it, I would certainly buy day one of release. The only reason I didn't rate this higher is because of the frustrating moments dealing with the Alien A.I. Even when you think you've outsmarted it, it finds a way to disappear and come bull rushing you from an unseen angle. This happens even on Medium, so I can't imagine the frustration on playing this on the hardest mode. It is rewarding to get through it, but, the frustration is more abundant than the reward IMO. Worth a buy! But get ready to get beat around a little bit!

Predator: Hunting Grounds3
Jun 14, 2020
Fun game to play although there are A LOT of weaknesses. Such as hardly any maps, not much worthwhile content to spend your points on, no single player with a smart A.I. Predator, the game loading a match WITHOUT your custom load out numerous times, just a few issues I can rattle off... I can get over the matchmaking time, the longest I had to wait for a match was almost 5 minutes and that's because I was Predator. At first I hated being Predator, but, eventually started to love it, as once you get comfortable with it you are pretty much in control of the match (unless going up against an experienced fire team, which doesn't happen often). There are times when you are grouped up with puds that kinda just run off in any direction. I always chuckle when less than 2 minutes in the game and they are killed out in the middle of nowhere. Although that ****, when you're on a good team that actually wants to play the game as intended and back each other up, it can be a lot of fun. It's too bad the content is lacking and there are constantly idiots that are on your team and have no idea what team work means,, if that weren't the case I would rated this much, much higher! Really sad that a good game get a 3 because it's player base ****, but, thats how I grade, sorry game. Great concept for a game, I also enjoyed the assymetrical genre. F13 is more of a slow burn while this one is much quicker and more evenly matched.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare7
Jan 3, 2020
Usually I've always preferred Battlefield over Call of Duty. But, since Battlefield 5 came out and was extremely dissapointed, I decided to give Modern Warfare a try. I'm very impressed with the game overall! The graphics are top notch, the controls are pretty simple, the sound effects are great as compared to older COD titles that I have played. I also thought the story mode was the best yet. Some moments were disturbing and most likely were created for shock value solely. It's a shame that so many Russian people down voted this because they were offended. Nobody really gives a Sh** that there are inacurracies in "Highway of death" and that this may be anti-Russian propoganda. Nobody thinks all Russians are evil either. I also think its foolish to think that the Russian military is completely squeaky clean in their operations either, like the KGB for example, had some of the dirtiest tactics invented. So I'm just saying Russian people, your being total blind/dumb/hypocrites. Anyway, Online has tons of modes and lots of potential, but, the maps offer almost no cover unless you want to camp, which is what 90% of the online community does. I'm not complaining, but I think it's hilarious that if you walk out in the open for 1 second you instantly die. Definitely fun at moments but can be extremely frustrating when the teams are mismatched talent-wise. The online Co-op is also great but very tough. Don't even try this mode with Rando's, as you will die fairly quick in the level. This mode is best played with friends or a solid crew with headsets/communication. Overall, really good game, the story mode was it's strong point. The multiplayer is fun too but also frustrating as the maps favor campers. I think with time it will be more evened out with updates so until then I'll practice at getting better and more familiar with tactics that work in this game.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order7
Dec 17, 2019
PROS -------- - Somewhat challenging gameplay on any mode above 'Story' - Amazing music and Star Wars nuances (like the fadeouts in between certain cut-scenes) - Great graphics and voice acting! - Fantastic atmosphere - Diverse variety of worlds/maps - Taking off in 'The Mantis' looks great - Fluid, parry style combat that relies on timing instead of button mashing - Decent story that makes sense in the Star Wars universe - Fair/simple upgrade system CONS --------- - Gets buggy at moments and frame rates can drop - Long load times (but not the worse I've seen) - Some parts in the game don't explain where/what exactly you should be doing, so sometimes you can spend a good 5 minutes on something that should only take 5 seconds. - Annoying backtracking (worse on harder modes). This also ties into no manual saves at any point, you need a meditation ring to save. - Bad, bad, control feel when 'sliding' down obstacles. - Bad 'Holomap' layout, the 'Holomap' gets confusing to look at as all of the levels of the map mesh into each other creating a blurry look, although it is authentic looking to the Star Wars aesthetic, it is sometimes confusing to reach your objective. - Takes elements from 'Dark souls/Bloodborne/Nioh/Uncharted (I know, I hate to say it, but it's true!). Not to say this is bad! It's just not overly original and doesn't add anything new or innovative to a blockbuster release. Overall, I thought it was a really good game. Definitely frustrating at moments, yet also rewarding when playing on harder modes. This game has a learning curve for players unfamiliar with the fight mechanics, but delivers a satisfying punch in the end with a little practice/experience with the game. It's also cool that the story is original within the Stars Wars universe, and not a rehash of an older movie/story. There are a lot of worse games out there for 60 bucks, if you're looking for a good Triple A release, I'd check this one out.

Outlast 27
Nov 14, 2019
PROS: - Great graphics, sound effects, and voice acting. - Super creepy atmosphere and vibe. - Funny voice acting ( lots of rants about apostles, god, and religious crap. I thought it was funny although some may feel uncomfortable ) - Simple control scheme - Silly story ( its all about crazy rednecks that follow some slob into some alternative christian religion that revolves around killing offspring? ). - Good length, not too long and cumbersome but also offers a variety of different level design. CONS: - Trial and error gets repetitive and annoying. - Sometimes the NPC's are approachable, other times they instantly cut you without notice (inconsistent). - Sometimes you're thrusted in a situation where you have absolutely no time to react, thus resulting in a frustrating death. - Even on normal, it only takes between 1-3 hits to die. You cannot heal in a chase, so therefore if you get hit you have to escape to heal. - In some chases my character got caught on a tree branch or couldn't jump over a small object (even though the game requires you to climb up big walls). That was frustrating. - The ending wasn't very fufilling for me. Overall, it reminded me a lot of RE7 and the Evil Within. Although there is no way to defend yourself physically (only hiding/running), this game had an amazingly creepy atmosphere that any horror fan could appreciate. It's all trial and error which is kind of an old school throwback, but I thoroughly enjoyed it and couldn't put it down until I beat it. Luckily, if you have a PS4 it is free this month on PSN (which is where I got it). Sometimes frustrating, but ultimately a good game that deserves your playthrough.

Very much like last years with a few new features added in. Again, the NHL 20 community is one of the cringiest out of any game community. The lack of common sense has dropped down to an alarming rate when playing drop-ins. If there was some sort of matchmaking system where I could play along with people that are capable of making normal decisions, this game would probably be rated an 8. But, nope. Faceless selfish, cowards ruin this one.

Much like Fifa, this is a rent ONLY unless you are a die-hard Madden fan. Same issues like in Fifa exist in this one, difficulties are too easy or too hard (unless you want to spend hours messing with the sliders), MUT is a cash grab, there's no even way to play this mode against people without spending tons of dough or wasting most of your days playing boring challenges that barely give you anything. Playing online your either playing a day one noob or some dude that plays for at least 4 hours a day. The graphics and mechanics have not really improved much at all. It's really just a typical EA game. Unfinished and Broken.

Again, much like last year, an utter failure. In single player, the modes are too easy or too hard, I shouldn't have to screw with sliders for a normal experience. FUT requires tons of micro transactions to even compete on the lowest of levels, so unless you have a lot of your parents money at disposal, good luck on winning one game against some kid who plays for 5 hours a day. On co-op pro club drop-ins, your teammates could care less about team play, and they constantly embarrass themselves and their teammates with horrifically blind/selfish play styles. When you call them out, they laugh like little girls because, obviously they are far down in the ladder of life. The graphics and gameplay havn't improved much or at all. Volta is neat, but gets old quick. This is a rent only, unless you have a die-hard group of Fifa friends that know how to play the right way, otherwise this game is just constant frustration and a reminder of how shi**y now a day adolescents are.

This is a really fun game! Its as if The Last of Us and Red Dead 2 had a baby, this would be the game. I thought the concept of having to refill your gas tank and and picking your fights wisely made you strategize more instead of aimlessly wondering with no threat of dying. The gunfights and melee are very satisfying as well. The game is DEEP, lots of storylines and skills to earn. I didn't feel very connected to the characters story-wise, but overall this game is worth the buy. Tons of replay value, great fight mechanics, great graphics, sick game.

Excellent game. I liked how it was somewhat difficult in the fact that aim and luck matters! Sometimes you can kill a zombie/creature with one shot, other times it takes 12 shots! This makes you decide whether its worth wasting the bullets or finding a better route. There are multiple ways to play this game, and two different stories to play though, which extends the replay value quite a bit. There are also cool unlockable's like Hulk, who was from the previous RE2 game. I also respected that Capcom kept it old school, and didn't adhere to the new PC (politically correct) wave that has taken over when it comes to storylines/scripting. Overall, great game!

Usually I like these type of games, but this one was extremely 'meh'. The acting was mediocre, the plot wasn't very original, and the worst part of all is if that you screw up and die, there is no loading point therefore you have to start from the very beginning, again. An extremely limited game, this seems like more of a prototype or rough draft than an actual finished product.

Again, just like NHL, a good game ruined by the disgusting amount of imbeciles on online play. I really am not sure I can play these EA sports games online at any capacity anymore. It's either you're playing against some sorry sack who plays this atleast 5+ hours a day who just steamrolls you, or in co-op you're teamed up with a shmuck that calls for the balls every waking second, whether triple covered or not, he's calling for that ball. Maybe I'm too old for this crap, or maybe there should be tiers that people play in with verification of course. There needs to be a 12 and under tier, a 12-17 tier, and an adult tier. I just can't take playing with the younger players that are either A. incredibly dumb and selfish or B. EXTREMELY dumb and selfish. I know this gets in the way of EA's money, so there will be no changes on matchmaking I'm sure. EA is off in la-la land **** themselves instead actually improving the game for casual players. EA blows and so does most of its fanbase, terrible cowards.

You have a big ol' doo doo in your pants if you don't like/appreciate this gem ****. The most detailed game of all time, and hilarious to boot. Endless things to do and discover. CONS: I hated how long some of the animations were, some of the tight sections in the game where you're accidently killing people with your horse ( strawberry/saint denis ), some of the glitches when riding a horse, and the cover system. You can say thats a lot of flaws, but the good FAR outweigh the bad IMO. Other than that, it was a beauty, and people trashing this either like to be contrarians or they just **** in general. Totally changing my review on this one (based on online gameplay). I mostly only do drop-ins, if you are like me, avoid this game like its AIDS, by far the least intelligent fan base of all time. Unfortunately, if you are a good, competetive, and unselfish player you will not enjoy this piece of crap at all. All of your teammates think they are spider-man flying up and down the ice, hogging the puck constantly only to turn it over and have your defense miss a big hit as the other team scores easily. No one knows how to pass (saucer or backwards), its like playing with a bunch of 2 year old lemmings that just want to fall to their death. On top of that, I'm only level 42 (non tiered) and I haven't come across one teammate or opponent that is actual good/unselfish, and some of these guys are maxed out!! ( thrid tier level 50 ). It's truly amazing that even the best rated online club players are still quite terrible and unaware of simple situations. Everything alright there in Canada? Seems like they've gotten dumber, pretty sad. Anyways, everything else in the game is fun, but the online base is truly the dregs of the planet.

This game is great! Not only does it have tons of replay value ( contracts, storylines, etc. ) but it is hilarious as well. The fact that when you kill a target in front of everyone, and hide out for 10 minutes, their partner who is still alive, has no idea that his partner got murdered, its like the thought of cell phones are non existent in the Hitman universe. Besides that loophole, this game is is really fun and lets you be creative in how you manhit through it's many modes.

Awful, awful game. And no, not because there are women in it, not because there are no Russians, etc. The game is awful. The aiming system is incredibly difficult (especially in tanks), like someone had said previously the game encourages camping by limiting all supplies, I literally died 8 times before my first kill (which was an accident). They start the medic off with a Sten, which is the most useless gun in the game. So you can get points healing people, but good luck killing one guy with the Sten. I feel like this game tried to be an alternate version of 'BioShock', but failed. The story was OK and somewhat original considering now-a-day creativity., the graphics were cartoony and to be honest subpar. The gameplay was meh, nothing new or special with FPS', and the skill web and special attributes options were average at best. By far the worst part of this game is the loading times. I think one time it was literally 3 minutes before the game loaded initially. Kind of unnaceptable considering this game doesn't merit lonnnng loading times with unspectacular gameplay. The game looks cool, but its really not!

Fire Pro Wrestling World8
Sep 6, 2018
I bought this on recommendation from a few friends ( who are wrestling junkies ), I'm not big into wrestling ( IRL) but wrestling video games were always enjoyable for me. At first I hated this game, I couldn't figure out how to not get clobbered by the CPU. But once I started the tutorial, and got a feel for timing with grapples, I was having a blast. There are a ton of different modes including extreme wrestling. I also enjoy the old school arcade aesthetic to the game which was reminiscent of my childhood arcade experiences. This is also one of the most customizable games I've ever played, literally everything can be altered/modified/made from scratch. The menu's are a little tedious and overbearing, but it shows how insanely in depth customizing is on this game. The best part of this game also is that you can easily import characters made by other people, which there are literally hundreds of , therefore you can have the deepest roster in wrestling game history. A must have for wrestling fans, and for anyone that enjoys a change of pace in today's FPS and Fortnite filled world.

Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality6

I was having lots of tracking issues ( especially the MeSeeks parts ) with the PS4 version, but once you get passed that, it's a fun game. It's super short, but a neat and simple experience, much like job Simulator ( who also developed this game ). There are some moments where you are just kind of sitting there, waiting for something to happen and nothing does. Eventually you'll figure it out, but those moments were tedious and unenjoyable. This game is definitely a rent unless you are a die-hard R&M fan.

Batman: The Enemy Within - The Telltale Series9
Aug 23, 2018
Wow! Preface: Big tell-tale fan here. Yes, I know the game is easy in the technical aspect, but the story was great. I also loved that there were so many different villains and characters in the game ( much like Infinity Wars ), lots of depth and a worthwhile feeling while playing knowing there isn't a dozen other batman tell-tales coming, all with only one villain to feature. This one is definitely a rent, a buy for hardcore Batman fans, and a pass for anyone who doesn't like easy gameplay and a good story.

I'm not quite sure why this game got such high reviews. Sure, its neat if you're into the whole Bloodborne approach to combat (parrying, respawning/difficult enemies). But I found it too difficult and frustrating in the amount of times I died only to have to wait a solid 2 minutes for the game to load. Its almost impossible to progress without 'embracing' most of the population. It was also very annoying to have to constantly maneuver and outrun OP mobs on the street only to get cornered and killed because my cool down times were too long and I couldn't block. There were also some frame rate issues and game pauses during random loading times throughout the game. The graphics were not very good for todays standards. Most of the storyline commentary was boring, having to talk to everyone just to find a stupid clue that doesn't do much good anyways. I feel like this game tried hard to be a bloodborne/dark souls ripoff but with more RPG elements added, and thats probably why i didn't like it.

Agony1

I was really excited for this game and decided to give it a try. I really liked all of the disturbing visuals and sound FX, unfortunately that is all this game has to offer. It was very disorienting, and frustrating in the amount of times you are killed by a demon that has very inconsistent mechanics. There were tons of frame rate issues where the screen would completely pause when trying to load something. I'm stuck in the fractal forest because it is too dark (literally) and I can't see the bombarding waves of enemies (especially those unbelievably annoying rolling balls of martyrs) that constantly kill me while trying to find puzzle pieces, truly annoying. My TV isn't the issue either I'm running a 4K Sony and PS4Pro and even put the brightness to max level. This is only the second level, and it has truly become agony.

God of War9
Aug 14, 2018
A fantastic game, God of War is mostly flawless on every level. The controls and mechanics were enjoyable and simple, and overall felt like the Batman:Arkham Knight type gameplay. The graphics, sounds, voice acting, and story were all very top notch. The game holds your hand a little bit but I enjoy that more than a game that just wants to punish you constantly. For any hardcore long time GOW fan this is a must buy, and a week rent for anyone else. Great game!

First off, let me state this game is really fun sometimes when playing together with friends. But that is pretty much where the fun ends. Single player mode settings are either too easy or too difficult. I shouldn't have to experiment with 20 different multiple slider settings to find an acceptable difficulty. The online player base is the CRINGIEST out of any I've ever seen or witnessed. Literally 9 out of 10 drop in lobbies I'm sitting there for 2 minutes straight and one person quits before the match starts and everyone follows him out! Its laugh out loud funny. Another awesome drop in thing that happens a lot is a club team with go into drop-ins expecting to beat up on unknowing newer players or scrubs, so if you're playing a drop-in, you are most likely 80% going to end up on the scrub side and get waxed because the club side are too afraid to have an even match up. Truly a sad and cowardly way to game, pathetic. And when they get called out for it, its nothing but a bunch of Canadian teenagers getting worked about their cowardice, swearing at you and laughing like in they're in the right lolll. So, to sum it up, fun with friends, but its immature, trashy, unnatentative, cowardly fan base is the worst of the worst in terms of intelligence and honor, truly the dregs of the earth come out for this one, lol. If there was better matchmaking for non-club players this would be a higher score, but as a drop-in player this game truly reveals the horror in how low intelligence and personal responsibility is for modern Canadian millenials.

Friday the 13th: The Game2

Great concept, horrible delivery. Super laggy moments, matchmaking takes forever, most of your teammates are little kids or idiots or both, therefore your chances of escaping with a half competent Jason are about zilch. Matches randomly end all the time either half way through a 20 minute round or near the end thus resulting in no points to contribute to perks. The single player mode is cool, but it is very short and very easy. I love all things horror, but unfortunately this game **** overall.

Dead by Daylight6

This game is really fun, if..... Your teammates are decent and not trolls. I never really play as the killer, but have had good experiences with the trapper. The graphics are subpar, but the enviornment, music, and sound effects are all excellent in setting the mood. There is an in depth process in character progression, but I simply don't play it enough to use more than one character. I feel the system takes a bit too long in actually progressing to good perks, so this can be very intimidating to newer players as they are no match for vets with every perk the game offers. The gameplay is simple and straight forward. If there could be a more accurate matchmaking system I'd rate this an 8.

I thought this was a really good game! I must admit there were some dull moments doing mundane tasks that seem annoyingly unnecessary. But if you're into games like heavy rain/detroit or even tell tale type games this one is up your alley. *SPOILER* The story reminded me a lot of Stranger Things in many, many ways. Which was cool but also a repetitive experience in that sense. The graphics were great, and so was the acting. The only downside I thought was that it was a couple hours too long and the ending was a little ridiculous but hey, its a sci-fi/supernatural thriller game what do you expect? Very good game!

Detroit: Become Human10
Jul 18, 2018
Wow this game was incredible. I'm a big fan of Heavy Rain and this one blew it out of the water completely (especially in the voice acting part of it). Detroit also has the best graphics you've ever seen. There were absolutely no frame rate issues. The gameplay and action events were perfect, not too easy but also busy enough to keep you on your toes. The story was very compelling and I felt a true connection with the characters that made me become a self loathing human. It's scary to think that this may indeed be the consequence of technology becoming more and more intelligent as each year goes on. It is a short game, but there are tons of different choices you make when you start again, resulting in multiple different stories and endings. A very rare game, Detroit: Become Human ranks as an all timer!

Yakuza 6: The Song of Life6
Jun 15, 2018
I Gameflyed this one and thought it was decent overall. It had amazing presentation, graphics, button mashing gameplay (or you can parry/block like in Dark Souls), and funny, yet sometimes annoying mini games. They should've made a mode without any of cutscenes, because not even a quarter through the game and I was skipping almost every cutscene. The story was OK, but nothing to write home about. I do admit I've never played a Yakuza game before, so the story wasn't exactly clear to me as it would be to an avid fan. Fun, yet tedious, I think 6 is a good score for Yakuza 6.
