Amerzone - The Explorer's Legacy5
Feb 10, 2026
Beautiful game with excellent voice acting. Solutions are logical and the "show points of interest" helps a lot, although, there are two points in the game, where it stays blind. What takes it down is the average story, typical progressive nonsense "white man bad", the fact that animals are just mixed together to create "unknown species" and the fact that the technologies would never work the way they are presented. Up to you if the downs are so important for you, as they are for me.

Little Big Adventure: Twinsen's Quest8

Graphic is not the best, voice acting is passable, some actions (especially trophies) are hard to figure out. But the game has certain feeling. Well, up to you.

The game looks very nice, music is good, amount of side content (side quests, areas with hidden loot) is decent... I really liked the main characters. But the woke agenda found its way inside. Amount of women in positions that need men characteristic is also staggering. I give up on this studio. Sadly. Messenger was absolute blast.

Pixelated would be Bloodborne clone in Metrodivania style, where every chick related creature is called "My lady" or at least "Lady", with simplified character stats. I can think of a dozen betters, running on the same idea.
...but... looks decent.

Interesting theme and mechanic. Very good looking girls with a character that you can actually like. Sure... it has its flaws, but it left long lasting impression, which is more then most games can say.
I will try the others in the series.

I enjoyed the world and nature, the potion mixing too. Collectibles were ... just there I guess. But I hated the story. A lot. Main character is vilanified (sometimes rightfully) but, based on my experience, I would take girl raised by a father like this over princess that is allowed to do everything anytime. The other characters were maybe interesting but not likeable at all.

I liked the art very much, the story and characters... I loved them. The system could use some work, but for a small game? Also great. Some decisions were hard to make, some were clear the second you saw them.

The game feels much older then it is. Graphic is outdated and yet it perfectly provides you with feeling of Hong-Kong. Music is excellent (Akira Yamaoka). Mechanic is interesting, novel in some aspects, but lets you die quickly and unfair (ehm... thanks to the great idea of playing first game on NIghtmare). Story is great. So... its not for everyone, but if you feel its for you, then it probably is.

Stealth, reminding me of Metal Gear. The story needs more work, you have to fill missing lines, but I had my share of fun for the money I paid while planning my approach and exploring the universe. It gives you exactly what the trailer promises. (And yeah, the two human characters need some facial expressions., really.)

Yakuza: Like a Dragon0
Jan 26, 2025
Decently written propagation of immigration with couple of fembosses. Artificially prolonged gameplay by running around the city and hunting specific enemies. Characters take stupid routes to enemies to get interrupted in the middle of an attack. I draw the line on this one and keep the memory of the Yakuza 1-5 + 0.

The worst Yakuza I have played. It is very easy, even on hard and the completion list feels like participation list i rarely had to repeat an activity to master it. The story had logical holes, was not very compelling and for some reason the women characters were incredibly annoying (with exception of some of the bonus dates.

I really tried to like this game. The story is great, but the combat is too much luck based for my liking. Regardless of level, some enemies just wipe the floor with you because you keep missing and after loading, they just go down without a problem.

I liked the old school approach, the interaction between the character and its friends and the character itself (for both physical reasons and for the personality too). The graphic was weaker, but I really disliked and what killed my fun was the combination of mechanics and control of running from enemies, and the way you had to search from stuff and hope that this or that specific angle is the right one. Too bad...

Nice idea with the lantern, too easified parry system, weird tracking, weird idea with the "you spent too much time in the other world, lets kill you", weird hitbox, nice idea with the various attacks, but badly implemented. And... whats with the female bosses and blacksmiths. Are they transgender, or did the authors miss all of their biology classess?

Simpleminded narative, annyoing partner, controls done by some who didnt held gamepad for longer than 1 minute. I know many games from 90s, that were better designed than this one. At least I got it for free.

Yakuza 3 Remastered8
Feb 20, 2024
Yakuza 3 was first Yakuza that I ever played. It was like a lighting from a clear sky. Incredible. This remaster is somehow buggy. Billiard is unplayable (due to difference between analog of PS3 and PS4/5) and tag matches in Colliseum sometimes switch lock-on targets. Which makes it much harder. But it has missions that the first US version didnt have. And some minigames.

Cold 3D graphic reminding people of Borderlands, with generally dislikable characters, constant need to run after something to click on it, or to find where it went this time. Talk system could be done better as well, even with hints turned off, it felt like being guided by hand.

The story is dark and I very much love how dark your decisions have to be. Rules and rules for monks were there for a reason. I presume, that is what people dont like about this game (Im rater lazy to read reviews, half of them cannot be trusted anyway). People talk slowly and without much empathy. But for me, it was a fresh spring. Didnt try to be moral, didnt try to go with the common agende. True, some things you figure sooner then you should and the its more or less interactive story, not an adventure, But I think, I got more, then what I was expecting.

The game seems to be poorly optimaliset for Playstation. Aiming doesnt feel right and trees 50 meters away look almost like clouds. I felt the game has something to offer, but for something aimed at fighting, the main two problems were the killers for me. Still, it felt nice to run around.

Comic game that has a message and something to say. I liked the short episodes and the way the story was told a something that could happen. Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's Cut5
Jun 25, 2023
On the plus side, the game has great atmosphere, music is just on the spot, they made a lot of things better compared to first installment, any of your stats has some impact when making decisions and/or talking and fight is harder (which is good). On the bad side, its wokenes is killing it and the mood. (When dealing with foreign, widely feared, corporation of blood mages, your shaman thought that the rumors are "superstition at best, xenophobia at worst". Quarter of side missions keeps yapping about racism and half of pairs you meet are lesbians. Really? Its like watching **** Errr... Netflix.) So, if you dont mind wokeness, you will get a great (oldfashioned) game. If you do mind it, you will end up annoyed of how simpleminded the woke parts are.

Its a worthy successor of original Dead space. Story is simple, but wihout (much) pathos. Feeling of the world is great, new combat system takes something from original, but I had more fun on higher difficulties, where the little pieces came together and I didnt really mind that there is not many variations of enemies. What I missed was the possibility to search for more loot in hidden areas (they are there, but you cannot go back to the start whenever you want.

Weaker then its predecessor. Maybe the translator changed, but this installment had some annoying characters (like that cop and her constant "I will arrest you if...") or the magician girl. Decent fun for two players. If you dont mind story on level of Hollywood movie (which is not a compliment), annoying woman behaving like a man and sissy man behaving like a woman. And terrible book. Not excelent graphics, very distinct Fallout feel from post-apocalyptic Russia. Lot of NPCs felt very bland, great skill and attributes tree, where you need all, but can have only little so every replay is different. I miss ability to duck, use cover, etc, but it can be lived without it. What annoyed me the most was the way how poison and radioactivity just kicked in and there was very little what you could do about it (Which is also the main reason for the 6/10.)

Rare couch co-op. Cyberpunk done right. Seems straightforward at first, but pleasantly surprises, that not everything is so simple (Augmentations scale with stats, weapons need to be handled correctly and they need corresponding stats). But what I liked most was the feeling. You are one of many, in a big, stinky world of garbage, rain and chrome. Played on hard and enjoyed it. Not sure how it feels when playing it alone.
