Star Trek: Starfleet Academy: 1 Kids These Days10

Okay, this actually slaps. The new cadets are all interesting right off the bat, and the show gets what makes Trek work - optimism, big ideas, and characters you actually care **** episode throws some real moral dilemmas at you without being heavy-handed about it. Looks gorgeous too. Best part? It's got that classic Trek sense of wonder and possibility, but feels fresh and **** just coasting on nostalgia - this is Trek done right. Already hooked and can't wait for more.

Star Trek: Starfleet Academy: Season 110
Feb 16, 2026
The series is actually quite good - the characters are well written and given substantial time for genuine development, much like classic Trek at its best. The storytelling feels thoughtful and **** heavy bombardment from rightists just shows what they're truly afraid of: the significant cultural impact this series may have on audiences. That reactionary panic is honestly a bonus reason to watch and judge for yourself.

Episode 2 really shines in its quieter moments. The whole vibe around welcoming back former Federation members and choosing reconciliation over grudges - that's the kind of forward-thinking approach that makes certain crowds uncomfortable.
Love the aquarium scene where a character experiences Earth's diversity for the first time and is just in awe. It's that sense of shared wonder and preservation that Trek does best. We protect what we love together.
The contrast between the diplomatic academy cadets and the War College introduction is telling. The show's clearly positioning cooperation and understanding as the superior path, not aggression. You can tell which philosophy the writers believe in.
Tig Notaro's Professor Reno bringing that irreverent energy to teaching is perfect - expertise and competence without rigid authoritarianism
