I stopped after level 2 or 3 and sold it. I was that unengaged with it. This game is a snoozefest.

A game that makes anthropomorphic green crocodiles wearing suits seethe in rage and create 10 trillion videos explaining why this reboot of Wii Sports is the worst game the company had ever created, even amongst the likes of Mario Pinball Land, Paper Mario Sticker Star, Chibi-Robo Zip Lash, and the CDI games. In all seriousness the game is okay but never quite as good as the first 2 Wii Sports games, but still probably better than that one pointless Wii Sports remake on the Wii U hardly anyone has ever played including myself.

The most borderline unplayable game I think I ever had the pleasure of playing. Not a single part of this functions as a game, AT ALL! Even if the graphics look passable and the music is fine, the game plays so badly that I've overlooked anything positive that can be said about this "game". There is only one thing I can give it: This game is so bad it made me laugh trying to play this mess, the word "mess" not even beginning to describe how bad this game is. In short, don't waste your money on this crap, even if the game is 5c or even free. Don't even pirate it and waste valuable storage that can be used for literally any other game ever made other than this. Only play this drunk with friends if you too want to laugh at this abomination.

I'm rating it 10 for the nostalgia alone, this game was my childhood. Game's so good I still play it from time to time.

While nowhere near as bad as the movie itself, this game is so repeatitive, banal, formulaic, and generic that I don't really find playing this game worthwhile. It's just your typical platformer with nothing new to offer, or not really much of anything for that matter. I also want to note that this game is beyond easy to the point where even a simpleton like me could beat it without dying in a single sitting. Heck, I also beat this previously in a single setting WHEN I WAS 9 when I rented this game around the time it came out. Also, I never had to use my Smurf's special ability once it was that easy. I'll give it these things: At least the game works competently, the backgrounds are pretty, the hub is pretty cool, and the cutscenes are faithful to the art style of the Peyo comics. I would not recommend you get this boring game. At least it's better than the DS version that's literally an asset swap of the previous movie's game that takes about as long as a world on this version to see everything that version has to offer. I would even take playing this game a third time over seeing these live action Smurfs movies (especially the movie this game is based on specifically), and even the new one coming out with the Influencer Smurf in it.

If the game wasn't so easy to cheese by spamming skeletons, the game was less glitchy (I played it on PS4 in my instance) and the controls weren't quite as clumbersome, I would've liked it more. I still had fun with what was there though.

While this game was visually appealing, fun, and decently executed a very interesting 3DS Home Menu customization tool known as badges, this game was largely held back by its aggressive moderation in terms of its pay to play mecahnics. Also, this was an online only game, and thanks to Nintendo Network's closure this game is now unplayable, and I wish they made this a free offline game where you could've used play coins to play the game instead. Still had plenty of enjoyment with it for free though. Game could've been better though.

I'm quite sure that this game was my introduction to the Mario franchise as a kid. This game was such a load of fun I can't possibly put into words how good **** this is to me. If they fixed a few things, this would've been perfect as it is.

This game was such a letdown for me, I was expecting more from this game like more traditional board rules and more memorable minigames among other things instead of what we ended up with. At least this game is fun in places and is also playable compared to certain other Mario games (cough Mario Pinball Land).

I played the **** DEMO of this when the 3DS eShop was still a thing, and the main levels were so long it made me wish I were playing a better game (like a good Sonic game for that matter). For the time it would take me to beat a world on the full version I bet you I could probably beat Sonic Generations 3DS once. I was told too that the full version was worse than this because of its backtracking and lack of overall direction in terms of gameplay in every manner among numerous other issues. Put simply, BORING!!! I'd rather play the rest of both Sonic 06 and Sonic Forces, and then sit through The Knuckles Show again over this.

This is the worst piece of Mario media I have ever consumed. Why? Because the controls are inconsistent, the physics are abysmal, the game's rules are generally unfair in every way, the music sounds uninspired and has little resemblance to Mario as a franchise, the bosses are poorly designed (especially the Bowser fight at the end, I spent more time on him than the rest of the game combined), the story is just the same old Mario story but made 10000 times more idiotic with this ball mechanic, and I would've rated this game higher IF THE SAVING MECHANIC WASN'T SO BROKEN (So bad in fact you have to literally press Start, then Save and Quit EVERY TIME you want to stop playing, and if you forget once YOU HAVE TO PLAY THE WHOLE GAME ALL OVER AGAIN!!!!) Only thing I can give it is the visuals look good for a GBA game in 2004. That's it. This game is my least favourite thing about the whole Mario franchise. I'd rather play Sticker Star. I'd rather play Hotel Mario. I'd rather play all the educational games that were ever made for this series. I'd rather Mario Party Advance AND 10. I'd rather play Mario Strikers on Switch. I'd play these and any other bad game in thks franchise you can name over this abomination.

This game is an insult to gaming as a mere concept. Everything you can do wrong in a game, this game achieves it. Ear torture music, abysmal graphic design overall, poorly programmed level design and controls, asinine difficulty spikes even on Easy, has barely any relevance to the Shrek book or movie, it's a ripoff of Mario Kart Super Circuit, the last level I heard is the hardest level in any kart racer ever made as a result of everything above, and the game just **** overall full stop. Do not buy this game at any price, don't even pirate it as a joke for your hacked console or emulator. Avoid this game entirely. This game is an insult to not only Shrek, but gaming as a whole. Worst. Game. Ever!!!!

Unlike Garfield Gets Real, Garfield's Nightmare is a faithful adaptation of the comic strip Garfield, given that the cutscenes are literally comic strips written by Jim Davis himself, which are exclusive to this game. It also captures Garfield's personality really well through his thoughts, and has plenty of references to the strip, like the glass decoration of Pooky. Other things to note that the gameplay as a whole functions really well, the controls are fluid, the levels design is excellent for the most part, the minigames are also a whole lot of fun to play, the music is wonderful, the UI is simple enough for users to navigate, the bonus sections hidden within levels utilize the 3D fantastically, and the backgrounds are really immersive. Flaws for this game include not being able to replay levels at any point unless you start a new save file, the textures may be considered generic sometimes, the minigames don't save your scores, and the game may be too easy for anyone over the target demographic of kids. Given how I have a lot of nostalgia for this game back when I was a kid since around 2009, I consider this to be the best licensed game I have ever had the pleasure of playing.

Just ignore all the ironic positive reviews and DO NOT by any means play this game (except for emulation purposes). I could say so much about this that its not even funny. Besides, the movie of the same name this was based off was already mediocre to begin with, as with every film ever made based off the Garfield comic strip series. Some reasons include this game being near unplayable in terms of its controls on some of the levels, the game is so unfair in the platforming stages that one HIT kills Garfield and forces the player to start all over from the beginning of the level with not a SINGLE checkpoint present, the levels themselves are incredibly lackluster, the scoring system is complete ass, and the dancing level is straight up unplayable unless you search up a tutorial on how to do it. This game is so bad, it makes me wish I tossed the game out the car window I was in when I played it upon losing the studio level for the millionth time. No, in fact, I hate it so much I wish to track down every remaining copy of this game in existence (spare my original copy to remind myself of how far gaming had fallen since then) and destroy them all (I already bought 1 more copy of this game in my possession for this purpose).

At least the game is playable, the music is passable, and the visual backgrounds are appealing. Other than that, it is a terrible game that acts as a shameless attempt to exploit Ryan and his YouTube channel Ryan's World.
