This is a great game, for children and adults alike. While the mandatory children LEGO jokes (which are really funny) are present, there are a few references little ones won't understand. I like the fact that it faithfully follows the movie trilogy, along with its epic music, cast's performances and visuals. Yes, indeed, LEGO Lord of The Rings has amazing visuals! The variety of characters and gameplay present here is overwhelming, and the replay value is undisputed. The only reason I haven't given it a 10 is the fact that the keyboard controls are simply horrible (I think it's virtually impossible to play this game with it's lack of mouse input). Thank God it has Gamepad support! Amazing job as always, Traveler's Tale!

Oh, my dear God! What is it with developers these days? i understand the fact that almost all licensed games are awful, but.. really, that awful?! It's really a torment, playing through this game. i only finished it because I didn't want to stop at the second mission. I might say I have S&M tendencies, for putting myself through this. First: The graphics strike you as being 2004-ish (at best) and I don't wanna hear anyone say "it's a console title". That doesn't matter, there are so many other well-made games. It has no adjustable settings, besides the resolution! The sound - horrible, The controls - outrageous (without gamepad compatibility - how is this a console port if it doesn't even have gamepad compatibility?!) The acting - pure mockery..Stupid scripting often leave the characters repeating the same line over and over again, like babbling idiots. The Gadgets and gameplay opportunities - completely wasted. I can't find one good thing to say about this; even the main menu looks horrible!

The gameplay is very, VERY repetitive, the Graphics definitely can't be called current-gen, not even ps2-era graphics, for God's sake! The voice-over stinks of amateurism, but the controls are good. Don't get me started on the bugs and stupid scripts... I've played the PC version as well, and it's the same stupid, repetitive and bland experience... AVOID at all cost!
