Chloe Zhao is great at directing drama movies but it really shows that it is her first time directing one of these types of movies. I really like the diversity and representation, but it's not the reason why this is mediocre. Hard to follow plot, the fact that it could have been solved earlier, and ikaris just not living up to many potential makes this one of the lower ranking marvel film. Best to stream, not worth it to watch in theatres.
The movie felt extremely rushed, and I felt a bit disappointed after the showing. Don't get me wrong it was fun to watch - but rey and everybody had so much potential - and it was wasted.
Extremely dissapointing. Characters were developed very poorly, and the plot change made the movie a lot worse. It was so boring in fact, that i fell asleep during the movie since it consisted entirely of dialogue and no action.
For the first time ever I am proud to say that I actually enjoyed a video game film based on a single character. The plot was solid, and I laughed at least 10 times in the movie. This film is action packed and is enjoyable for both kids and adults. I wish they would add more into the film, though. Great and would see it again.
This was an average movie, with not so funny humour, however the animation was great. Characters are somewhat likeable, however not relatable at all because obviously this movie is set in a very early time period. However, it is very entertaining to watch.
Very poor. Did not enjoy. This movie almost feels like there was no effort put into it whatsoever. They did know their audience was young children, and so they made it difficult to understand for mature people like me.
I could not describe in words how awful this movie is. Everything from the animation, to the acting to the jokes is outright crap . As i watched this movie with my friends, there were ads all surrounding it such as the Candy Crush Scene. This movie literally felt like some form of torture. When the movie was done, i was so relieved ... the pain was over. During the movie, i felt my head internally screaming "MAKE IT STOP!" But, i kept watching it. That was a foolish mistake. On the plus side a kid kept failing to get some candy out of a candy crane, so they just left in some credits and quit. I got fun dip from that which helped to only relieve my sanity just a little bit.
This movie is an instant classic that will have viewers , especially children immersed. Although the animation is a bit outdated, the jokes aren't repetitive and the characters are quite likeable, especially Woody and Buzz.
The characters and songs are quite catchy, and any kid will have a great time watching this movie. The Genie was really funny and the story is beautifully animated. However, i felt that there were a lot of plot holes, especially at the end of the movie where it falls a bit flat. Definitely a must see if you want to see a disney film.
With me, most of the audience found the movie pretty funny overall. I think the jokes are more intended for adults in their mid 30s-40s, however this was a problem for me as i didn't get most of the jokes in the film. Action was decent and somewhat exciting. If you want to see a decent comedy film, go ahead and see it.
This movie is very entertaining and especially funny for the kids. Although you can tell it's a cash grabs, the jokes aren't that repetitive and animation is pretty good. This movie is very family friendly and has some funny outtakes too along with some likeable characters.
This movie, although hated on by most critics, is entertaining for the whole family. I found myself laughing every 10 seconds, and most of the characters are likeable. Acapella performances are really good and you can relate to most of the characters.
This movie was nothing like the trailer at all. Very dissapointing, and the jokes are repetitive and unfunny. Animation is good, but i feel like they could've put more effort. You can tell during the movie that they're trying so hard to make it serious.
