The game is a pack of lies. Many of the things promised in the game aren't even in the game. It crashes non stop. Blizzards customer support is pure evil banning people for trying to help them get refunds to this abomination ****. Don't buy it , infact never buy any thing ever again from Activision Blizzard. Blizzard is just a dead brand which Activision controls now.

Gears of War 45
Sep 7, 2019
Gears of Snore 4 Now that Epic sold the rights to MS. They thought it would be a great idea to replace the characters you like and are entertaining with 3 new characters that are boring as all hell. You have JD, Marcuses uninteresting and bring son. You have I'm a badass girl so YEAH!! … hate her. Then you have token black guy whos well black so I guess he has that going for him. Now the game does look amazing graphically and it has a few nice set pieces. Its got the same old gameplay which on game number 5 is getting a bit stale and could use a injection of some thing new. as take cover kill every thing rinse and repeat has gotten a bit old and since your new characters dont have the good writing for the characters that Gears 1-3 had and are unlikable idiots you dont have much going for you in this game and The story well Gears has always failed in this area and in MS's hands they are making sure they follow Epics lead Its a total let down as a Gears game and With Gears 5 focusing on the Lame new characters it really has no future I care to join in on. I had a very hard time playing this game longer then 40 min at a time with just not wanting to shut it off and go do some thing else. I'll stick with Gears 1-3 , you can keep this trash.

Played this for 6 hours on my friends Origin account because I already saw this coming. Playing it just confirmed it. The game is a hollow shell and while the shell looks very nice. every thing with in it is empty. The combat though isn't to bad, unfortunitly you will be fighting waves of braindead AI who either rush you or just stand there with there thumb up there butt. Then you have the load times and oh dear god are they bad. even with a SSD you will be waiting almost a minute and my friend had a HDD and he said he was waiting a few minutes and that might be tolerable if there wasn't a TON of loading moments. Performance is complete crap. It's not optimized well and stutters on my rig and I have a I7 6700k , 980 TI and 16GB Ram. I have no problem maxing any game out still with that set up and things running smoothly unless the game optimized like crap. The story ****, The NPC's in this game are annoying as all hell. The story is coma inducing and you just want to skip it and go back to the repetitive gameplay instead. which by the way all you do is go to point A kill some enemies go to point b kill more enemies then point C fight boss and repeat. There is a open world mode witch is dull as hell. The loot is also boring. I never felt excited getting any thing unlike say borderlands 1 and 2. The world is also very empty. while it looks really nice graphically there is just nothing there. This game feels like its a Early access game. Like it could be some thing good in the future like in maybe 1.5-2 years or more. As it is now I personally wouldn't pay more then $5 for it and it will probably be $30 in a month and since it has MTX I wouldn't be surprised if it went F2P with in a year. I would not pay $60 for this for any reason.

Made by a bunch of Alt left Pedos, who are racist. I don't support devs who are radical loons who want to enforce there sick views on to others. I will never buy your game and I will make sure to put the word out to every gamer I know to never ever support these people.

Star Wars Battlefront3
Dec 19, 2015
The game looks great graphically and sounds great. Every thing else ****. The gameplay feels like COD reskinned with star wars. It feels nothing like Battlefront 1 and 2 which are great classics. The servers are trash. No Conquest Mode, No Space Battles, 8 maps ONLY which by now is actually only 4 maps because the game modes that use the other 4 are dead, Heroes are unbalanced hell the whole damn game is . It basically has only 25% of the content that Star Wars BF2 has. Then add on the greedy $50 season pass. No Single player mode. I refunded this thing on Origin with in 2 hours and not even for $5 will I pick this up.

Titanfall8
Mar 21, 2014
Let me start off by saying I am no fan of COD which this game gets compared to a lot. Yes its a twitch based shooter like COD and there are some elements of COD in it but so are many other games that COD took its Cue from. Unlike COD though Titanfall revamaps the twitch based shooter with a fresh new feel. I really never felt like I was playing COD but I was in some futuristic world jumping 50 feet in the air doing all kinds of crazy fun stuff , like battle giant mechs and pulling off some crazy kill moves , like ripping some one out of there titan and tossing them away like trash.. That's not to say the game is perfect because its not. The story mode is a complete joke. For a Online only game I expected a bit more. Yeah 15 maps are great but that's right around the bare bones min when you consider this is a online game and should have had 20 or maybe even 25 when you are pricing this at $60. also game modes... it needs more of them. the ones it has are great and all but why not add a 16 vs 16 mode or a 32 vs 32 mode just for some crazy fun. The amount of gear and wepons and skills you get are pretty good and they all feel like the belong in the game. Over it is fun but I would not say worth $60 as is. There is just not enough content in it to justify the $60 price tag. If it was say $30 or $40 I'd say sure get it. I don't see my self playing this months from now but I do see myself enjoying it for the time I do play it before it gets old to me. Its not a game I see having a long lasting appeal for some people.

Aliens: Colonial Marines7
Sep 17, 2013
I am a huge Aliens fan but after seeing the reviews for this game I avoided the hell out of it and only picked it up when it was on sale on PSN for $9. Well Gear Box must have did some major patch work because what I played wasn't that bad. Now mind you it's still not a great game but it's not to bad I did enjoy it. Though it does if it's issues. First off graphically it looks very dated some thing I would expect from the first year of the PS3 Also why on earth I am fighting soldiers at ALL! Fighting the Aliens is great and a lot of fun especially in co op but fighting lame enemy soldiers in a Aliens game is not. Granted you do fight the aliens more but It should be all aliens and it would have been nicer for a bigger variety. Also the health system **** When on the easiest settings you can die with in one second from a soldier is just whacked even if u have full health. The story isn't bad picking up 17 weeks after the movie needed and you will recognize some voices. The gun selection is great and spot on and upgrading your guns is also a nice touch. The sounds and music is spot on and gives it that aliens feel. The motion tracker kinda feels useless most of the time since u have to switch back and forth between that and your gun so I found my self rarely using it. The AI which I heard was a major problem in this game must have been fixed because the aliens are fairly good the soldiers how ever are dumb as a box of rocks. The battle with the queen alien also felt a little anticlimactic with you basically just doing button pressing. I mean come on I want to shoot her dead with my guns. The online though is good bit of fun with marines vs aliens and it switching up every match so you get a turn at each plus you get all kinds of upgrades and can unlock different alien types to play as. All in all Aliens CM isn't that bad since all the patching. I would say if you had my position and did not wAnt to touch the game Ny where near $60 when you heArd all the horror stories about it which I am sure they all were true when this game came out. I would say now is the time to give this game a chance.

Army of Two: The 40th Day5
Apr 23, 2013
A shadow of the former game. This Army of two is a short buggy uninspired game that just basks in a giant sun of mediocority. The story makes no sense at all. Your AI partner is a complete moron. there are bugs and glitches a plenty. The game just gets repetitive real fast. It feels like a rush job to cash in on the fame of the first one and infact thats what i would say it is.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II3
Apr 14, 2013
The SW TFU was a very midiocore game and had a ton of room for improvement. so i was hoping in the sequel they could fix alot of the issues the first one had. Unfortunitly they fixed nothing and messed up on the very few things the first one did right. The second one now has pretty much zero story. the whole thing can be summed up as got to go save your girl friend" thats it there is barely a word even said in the game. long over drawn out boss fights every thing feels way to over cinimatic more QTE... uuuggghhh. Its very very short which actaully is probubly a plus since its less time you will have to play this crap.

Looks good voice acting is solid and story is ok. Other then that every thing els goes down the crapper. The game play is just a mess. Platforming this game just can not do well at all. The combat is clunky as all hell. The diffuculty jumps all over the place from easy to wtf why is this so hard all of a sudden. fighting the second boss is the best example its like you have to be a real life jedi to beat that Way to much QTE infact there should be NONE. I'm sick and tired of QTE in games. The game could have been some thing great or atleast some thing good but its just sub standard mush.

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 37
Apr 7, 2013
I love MVC 1 and 2. I have had them the day they came out on the Dreamcast and played the crap out of them and over the years i ould break out my Dreamcast jst to play thoose games again. They both with out a doubt are my favorite fighting games to date. I never got MVC3 because with in months UMVC3 was announced I have to say Capcom kind of messed this game up. First off the controlls why the hell are we using the 4 button attack system? its suppose to be 6!!! It just feels so wrong The games controlls seem like the are catering to non fighting game fans its like here e made it super easy for any one wanting to play. as a old school fan i am let down by this. Then there is the lack of characters. MVC2 had a ton and now UMVC3 has cut out a good chunk of them and replaced them ith alot of junky ones. hy didn't they keep all the characters from MVC2 and just add more on to UMVC3??? I miss Venom Black Heart ,Cammy, and Juggernaut. Graphically the game looks great and the game moves super smooth The online works well. They have a decent amount of game modes Also the game endings just **** so hard This is the best Capcom could come up with? Its still not a bad fighting game in the end but hardcore MVC 1 and 2 fans will be let down i think by alot of this.

Let me get one thing straight. I LOVE OKAMI!!! the game is great its a perfect 10 on any other console BUT the Wii. Get it it for the PS2 or the HD version for the PS3 or any other console that lets you use a controller and not some thing like the Wiimote. The Wiimote just kills this game and makes it virtually unplayable This game is not ment toi be played with a motion controller

Apr 7, 2013
Played this years back on the Wii and it looked great but could not play it do to the aweful Wii controlls. Now we get a HD version for the PS3 that was well worth the wait The game is just fantastic Its alot like Zelda but i think even more fun. The game has a fantastic Art style and and just looks wonderful even today. The puzzles are well done and the combat is alot of fun. The game is very long you will clock in any where from 40-60 hours depending on side quests. The story is also pretty entertaining Every thing about this game was just done so well and only leaves me wanting more Okami games for the future and not on the DS!!! or any portable! make them for the **** yo are a RPG fan and never got around to playing this or like me got turned off by the ii version and you have a PS3 then okami HD is a must buy it plays so much better ith a REAL controller.

Dead Space 37
Mar 25, 2013
I really liked Dead Space 1 and 2. they are the best survivle horror games out there since Capcom turned Resident Evil in to a Lame Duck Shooter. DS3 i was very sketch on after seeing the 20 minutes of video It didn't look like a dead Space game It looked more like Lost planet After playing it all the way through i found that it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. Now thats not to say there isnt some problems because there is alot to complain about in DS3 but first I'll start off with whats good about the game. Even though in the 20 minute demo they showed Issac in the snow all the time you are actaully very rarely outside in the snow. You spend more time in the ships or in bunkers or bases below the snow So the game still retains its tight chlostrophobic feel. Scares yes it still has some there was a few moments in the game when i jumped abit and yelled oh ****! (note. it also helped that i was using a Sony HMZ-T1 while playing so it **** me in to the game more) Guns and lots of them .You will have a bevy of wepons to pick from The story is also much improved One of my biggest gripes with DS1 and 2 was that the focus on more information on the marker was needed and DS3 does give you more but still leaves you wanting to know more yet. The game is longer and you move from a City to space ships to snow feilds to under ground bunkers to alien ruins so the game changes up nicely. Some new enimies and some good ones at that. Final boss looked pretty damn cool. Ok now on to the down side of DS3 First off the save feature It just ****! instead of having places to save at you can just pause and hit save and quit Now unfortunitly it wont save you at that point unless its a check point. It will save all the stuff you found but when you load back up you could have to go back through 30-40 minutes of what you just did EVEN AFTER YOU SAVED WHEN YOU ALREADY DID IT!!! That just pissed me off. Remember in DS 1 and 2 when you could carry 4 wepons! now you only can have 2... WTF!? this made me not want to try out the new wepons because with only two wepon slots I didnt want to risk being stuck with some thing that was crap. Only 2 wepon slots... DUMB! remember in prevous DS games some times you would get mobbed by a ton of enimies? That was frightning because it didn't happen much and ammo was scarce (if you played it on the hard modes which is all i ever did) well in DS3 you are getting swarmed by tons of enimies every 2-3 minuites It seems clear out a room move 2 more rooms and and do it all again. You expect it now and the tension is gone. which brings us to ammo which you will never run out of because they made it so easy to carry a ton of it and make a ton of it and since all wepons use the same ammo worrying about item managment is pretty much gone... which ****. Co-op... well its not forced on you atleast with a AI partner following you around which would have really **** hard becase i have NO intrest in ever playing any DS game in CO-OP but EA is still taunting you with it by locking out missions with CO-OP only. Which really bugged me and should have been the other way around. If you enjoy CO-Op thats fine but for me it just Ruins DS I wasnt to be immersed in the world with out any one els bugging me. also way to much crap is locked away in the co-op certain wepons and alot of trophys can't be gotten with out playing in CO-OP... BS! Buggy and glitchy. ok i am on patch 1.02 and have had 2 freeze ups (which **** more with the crappy save system) and have had problems getting some doors to open. yes I have had to stand in front of a few doors for 2-5 minutes till it would open. Way to much rock climbing sessions which were not any fun and BUGGY! The final boss may have looked cool but man was he super EASY to beat. which has been a problem in all DS games they really need to make more of a harder final lboss fight. Also the ending pretty much ****. In the end though DS3 is still a decent game It hasn't gone as far off the rails as what Resident Evil has to now its just a shambles DS3 still at its core is fun but they need to get it back on track to being a SURVIVLE HORROR GAME!

DmC: Devil May Cry5
Jan 21, 2013
Been a fan of DMC since the very first game and heard this is a reboot not a sequel which disturbs me more then any thing. Its basically Saying yeah thoose old DMC games yeah they never really happend they are BS. Which is no need because DMC 1 was a great game even though it had a very lack luster story it didn't need a reboot. Well we got one any way and well might as well try and enjoy it i mean it could be great could add more to the story right? well unfortunitly it abandons pretty much any thing resembling the first DMC's story for some thing more post modern i guess. having demons running the media and such stuff ... i dont know it was all kind of stupid to me.Then we have the new Dante oh dear god what have they done to you. Dante was once a cool looking swave, **** , cool , had a great one liner for ever thing kinda guy. Now he is a Emo looking dork who with every passing moment i just grew to despise more and more as the game went on . I mean its pretty bad when you just hate your main character but its like that with every one in the game though. They are all just lame and not well done. Though hating the main character isn't grounds for a terrable game though add on a crap story lame dialogue and the score is gona crumble a bit. Now for the gameplay with DMC is famous for ... Its pretty good . Its fast paced action pact and flows well like prevous DMC games for the most part outside of style rankings are freeking easy to rank up on . getting a SSS rank is not much of a challange now. The camera is good didnt have any trouble with it but ultimetly the problem with DMC is unlike prevouse DMC games since the story and characters feel so lame i just felt no reason to want to play this again after i beat it infact i felt more like going back to play DMC4 or DMC HD trilogy then wanting to play this again. which makes me glad i only rented it . Thats about where i would put this game at a rental and see what you think of it before you make any choice to purchase it.

The first Crysis was a really fun game the second could be that as well if it wasnt BROKEN!!! i cant finish the game because of this damn ammo glitch that doesnt allow me to refill or reload my ammo or my guns and after almost 2 years this game has been out this hasnt been FIXED!!! This is unexeceptable and just leaves this game a broken mess and the developers should be ashamed for not having this patched with in the first week of the games release. So i will make sure to buy Crysis 3 used so i make sure not to support theese lazy bums. Learn to do your damn job.

Hitman: Absolution7
Dec 29, 2012
I've played every Hitman game since Hitman 2 and i love the series. Absolution trys to do some new things but takes away two key features that i think fans of the series just must have in the game. One is no more choosing your wepon load outs from your safe house. That was always a cool feature of just looking through your vast selection of wepons and deciding what you wanted to take on your next mission. Two would be the mission maps are much smaller. Prevous Hitman games had you just dropped off in a level which was pretty big and said this is your taget hear is some info now go find him and kill him on how you see fit .Now Absolution takes more of a story based play through which the story is not bad and the game over all is still kind of fun but part of that old Hitman feel was kinda lost. Graphically Absolution looks great and is also voice acted very well too. I did enjoy the game and it is worth playing but i think most fans will find the older Hitman games like Blood Money far more fun. Infact i find myself can't waiting to Play the Hitman HD collection just so i can play Blood Money again over wanting to play Absolution.

No More Heroes: Heroes Paradise8
Dec 28, 2012
Such a odd game yet in a good way. No more heroes certainly can be given some credit for being some what original. Even though in the end it is a Hack n Slash game , though it is one that is done fairly well. The story is pretty off the wall and pretty goofy and trust me by the time you get to the end it only gets more insane but its also not taking its self seriesly ether. In between missions you can drive this insane tricked out rocket cycle around town in a free roam mode and do differnt things like assasine missions, look for orange balls to learn new skills , or work at odd ball part time jobs which actaully can be kinda intresting and fun to make some cash. you can also buy all kinds of clothing attire at the store and some upgrades for your beam like laser sword. The whole point of the game ultimatley is to become the #1 assasine in the world . The diffaculty with the bosses can be abit odd you will fight one thats way easy then one thats hard then one thats way easy again but still its a fun game and if you want some thing differnt then you should check this out.

Far Cry 39
Dec 28, 2012
I liked Far Cry 2 thought it was going in the right direction but wasn't executed right. It was just very bare bones and felt rushed in the end. Far Cry 3 on the other hand gives it every thing the last game needed. It just feels like its done right. There is a ton of stuff to do in the game . A decent amount of guns to pick from which can be upgraded. You can also upgrade your character with perks. The game play mechanics have been upgraded for the better from the last now moving stealthly in the brush actaully feels right . The graphics are fantastic. You get a Huge and lovely looking open world to explore . The voice acting is great. Pretty much every thing about this game was done top notch out side of the very weak story and the main character who feels pretty lame . also there is the Boss battles or lack there of. Instead of boss battles you get theese QTE events wich just feel kinda lame to replace a boss fight. i really wanted to take Vaas out my self not hit a series of buttons to do it. Over all though its a great game and alot of fun and it took me about 30 hours to complete it . Well worth the purchase if you want a deeper FPS experiance.

DOOM 3 BFG Edition8
Nov 28, 2012
I remember playing doom back in the early 90s on the PC and played Doom 3 on the original xbox back in the mid 2000s . so i am a doom fan. Doom 3 is a love it or hate it with some people since the formula is changed from a run in guns a blazing tons of enemies to more of a horror game with less enemies and more focused on them trying to sneask up on you. I personally liked the new take on doom but can certainly respect thoose who did not like the new take on it. the collection comes with Doom 1 , 2 ,3 , and Doom 3s expansion pack that gives the game more closure and the lost levels. Thats alot of stuff for $40 and i got mine on a black friday deal for $20 so i got mine at a real deal. Even though Doom 3 is a great game it shows its age even with the HD upgrade . What ID should have done is just slap some updated graphics on this baby. Also the lost levels just kinds **** and is some thing you most likely will only play once. Also the load times just **** i don't know why they take so long and even saving seems to take for ever. even as is its worth picking up if you are a doom fan as there is alot there to keep you busy for the price.

Borderlands 27
Nov 28, 2012
I loved the first borderlands and sunk many hours in to it. i didn't get this one till they had a black friday sale on it for $25 because i just didn't have the time to play it and my friends who i would be playing this with online said they just didn't care for it much. so i didn't feel rushed to get it day one even though i really did want to play it. well since my friends arn't playing this i have to play it solo since i refuse to play with people i don't know online. nothing ruins my game experiance more then playing with A-Holes . it wasn't a huge deal to me since i enjoyed playing the first in both co-op and solo mode. Let me say that with in the first few hours some thing about the game just didn't feel right and i still can't put my finger on it exactly but i had a hard time getting in to it. I just kept feeling like going to play some thing els but i kept telling myself its going to get better when i start getting thoose sick guns. Even though the story this time around is much improved from the first one ... which the first ones story kinda ****. i found myself with in 6 hours in to the game dieng... ALOT! and it pretty much happens around the boss fights. they have made this game so rediculasly hard to play solo its beyond stupid. It makes you wonder what the develpers where even thinking. the first one had such a perfect balance of when you went from solo to co-op it felt just perfect. Borderlands 2 still feels like a good game but just doesn't feel like the great game the first one was even if the single player issue wasn't so nightmarish. i would bump the score up to a 8 if they ever do patch it to fix that issue. for now i just want to quik finish it toss it on the shelf and there it will most likely sit . i have no intrest in the DLC.

Resident Evil 66
Oct 20, 2012
As a long time RE fan since the very first game this game is kind of a let down. RE has always been a Survivor Horror game and now its more of a hybrid of Gears of War , Call of Duty , and Dragon's Lair with the survivior horror element just stripped right out of it. well out side of Leon's campaign which is some what of a survivor horror game but is so wrecked in Quik time event that will have you wrecking your controller on some parts that are just rediculas like ripping the hell out of your analog stick back and forth . It is the longest of the campaign's aroud 10 hours . Leon has a new Parner Helana who is voice acted well but why not just bring back Clair Redfeild instead? I much rather have had her partnered with Leon .Also had no issue with ever running low on ammo which is odd trying to be survivor horror The over all story was pretty dull and the boss although very cool looking (when transformed) any thing leading up to why i gave a crap about going after him just felt pointless. the story was just a wash and was more a Micheal Bay lets just Blow crap up every second we can for no good reason just because. Thn we come to chris who after RE5 loks like he is having serous Roid Rage issues after all the steroids he must have took to get that pumped up and is just a angry **** with no real personality it seems and his team he so cares about you are given zero info about to even feel his plight about when he goes on his Roid Raged Rampage for revenge. He has some guy named Pier who honostly who gives a crap about this Guy? They should have had Jill partner up with Chris .. maybe he wouldn't have been such a Roid Raged ****. His campaign is all guns a blazing just shoot , shoot and shoot some more which is real funny considering unlike Leons campaign YOU ALWAYS RUN OUT OF AMMO!!! i swear you will always be out or near bone dry and when you need more all you will find are thoose damn Skill points. I found ths one to be the worst of the campaigns and really didn't enjoy it at all. Then we have Jake and Sherry Who are both actaully intresting characters its great seeing Sherry again after all theese years and jake is actaully kind of a cool new intresting Character to the RE universe . Unfortunitly not near enough time is spent giving us more info on them . I really would have liked to known more about Jake with him being the son of Wesker and all. His campaign s the shortest of the 3 and its to bad you are wasting your time killing these things called J'avo (new lame enemy) instead f zombies like in the Leon campaign. Then when you beat them all you unlock the Ada mission which she plays a very central role in all of this . all the storys intertwine with each other which is pretty cool and the game is very very long and as a Action game its not that bad outside for the GOD AWFUL QTE I mean serously why in the hell is QTE still in games? and now capcom is just abusing the hell out of it in RE6. i mean when have you ever Heard any one say " and i loved all that QTE it was so much fun". The game is jammed packed with stuff and there is Co-op play but here is ultimtly the BIGGEST problem . i went out to buy a Resident Evil Game and what i got doesnt feel like a Resident Evil game .I regret buying this game and wish i waited till it was cheaper . As a Action game its ok as a Resident Evil game it ****.

Alan Wake8
Oct 13, 2012
Alan wake is a pretty good new IP and i like the idea behind it. You go to a cabin in the woods with your wife to work on a book and your wife vanishes and all hell breaks loose. The game has a nice creepy atmosphere being in the woods at night . The combat mechanics are fairly good . i like the idea of having to use your flashlight to weeken the enimys down before you can shoot them . The story telling is pretty solid . There is no real good enimy varity at all though and it would have been nice if they could have put some freakier creatuers in this game . over all though if you like survival horror type games like silent hill its worth your time.

Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 26
Oct 13, 2012
I really enjoyed the first DWG so i couldn't wait to play the second . Unfortunitly the second game doesn't bring alot new to the table . Even though now it has a ungodly amount of missions for you to play in mission mode . They feel like such a bore to do since now you are doing them to unlock other mobile suites to use which in the first you didnt have too do and now you have to keep friendship relations up to unlock missions. which means alot of pointless grinding through levels just to boost that up. It would have been much better served just having 10-15 story missions and forgetting all that other crap. A online VS mode was also added which is dead so no use ever checking that out. The game is fun but if you have the first one there is just not enough in this one to warrent a buy.

I got this on sale for only $4 and i thought it would be a fun party game when i had friends over since i have 2 move controllers . well i figured i would try it out for abit and just ugh... what can i say this has to be the dumbest move game i have ever played . move around on a run way and make motions with your hands with the move controller as a mini game... are you kidding me?! All of the games in this thing are just stupid as hell and just made me cringe . I am glad i tested this out first before i tried to subject my friends to some thing this horrable . i will stick with Sports champions for my party game till number two comes out.

Resistance 36
Oct 3, 2012
I really liked the first resistance game and R2 although the story mode stunk had a really fun online mode atleast . with Resistance 3 i was hoping we would get the perfect game and devs would figure this game out. well they got the carry multiple wepons part done right atleast. the story just didn't feel like much also no giant cool boss fights??? that for sure should have been put in this game . The great online experiance the resistance had shown us it could be in number 2 now just feels like more of a shell of its former self . R3 is a ok game but for the third in the series it should be taking this series to a new level and instead it feels more like we are back more at the starting line .

Max Payne 36
Oct 3, 2012
I was a big fan of the first Max Payne game but didn't care much for the second . It's been a long time since we got a new Max Payne game and this is suppose to be the final one one in the series. Well for starters the game graphicaly looks fantastic . It also controls fairly decent and if you dont like the aiming it has a auto lock on mode you can select. The online is a fair bit of good fun that i enjoyed for a few days till i grew tired of it. The story mode is just where this game falls . lets start with the story thats pretty much stuck up its own Ass and i just didn't give a crap about it. now Max Payne was never a great story game but in this day in age and with Rock Star improving in that area i expected better and what really makes it worse is you can't skip the Cutsceanes you have to sit there and just groan and wach them. I keep finding myself mashing the buttons hoping i can skip past them only to see a still laoding mesage at the bottom of the screen. Then there is the game play and this is where the game takes the biggest hit . Max Payne 3 just doesn't feel all that fun like the first one did infact it does nothing new . It actaully feels like it does less right . i loved jumping through the a door in the first MP in slow mo and gunning down 3 guys as who had no clue i was there . now i feel as if all i am doing is running to one area to the next and just fighting a group of bad guys and rinse and repeat. the game is actaully pretty long around 12hours or so but i found myself getting so bored with it i just wanted it to be over . i mean i actaully wished it was shorter ... which is a wierd thing for me to say about a game . The best thing they did with MP3 was get rid of the platforming which was so horrable in the first MP game. Max payne is not a bad game but i would say rent it or buy it cheap. i got mine for only $20 and i would say pay no more then that for it . For me this series went out with more of a whimper then a bang , which is very unfortunite.

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception9
Aug 28, 2012
I really like the uncharted series but held off on this one because i heard mixed reviews from friends about the game . well i have to say after playing it for myself i think its another great entry into the uncharted franchise . getting the negitive stuff out of the way quikly . the story isn't as strong as U2's and the villian some have told me was better the U2's main boss was just BS. U2's main Boss was vastily better done . also the supporting characters outside of sully just felt tossed in . That being said every thing els about the game was well done it feels like the Uncharted we know and love . there are new guns lots of fun intense sceanes that get your blood pumping and bring that movie feel in (though again not as strong as U2) . The online also has been improved and is now alot faster to get into a match unlike U2 was . All in all U3 is a great game that every uncharted fan should have and makes me kick myself for waiting as long as i did for getting it .

I was very sketch on wanting to get this game for many reasons . Big one being well its Capcom and they have been **** hard lately . Well i don't regret buying DD one bit . Its a fun new iP that i would like to see more of in the future. The game off the start looks amazing in the graphics department and the combat system is top notch . The combat reminds me alot of Shadows of the collossus for the PS2 and is just tons of fun . The create a character was well done and you get a pretty good amount of choices to pick from . The game is also pretty long around 40-60 hours . There is a ton of wepons and armor and it all looks differnt giving you and your team mates a differnt look . The world is pretty big and there is plenty to do. Now the game is said to be really hard and this is kind of true at the start of the game , where you have to be very careful on where you go because you can just get your butt kicked real easy some times but once you get to about level 25 and have some good gear you wont have much to worry about and once you are 35 nothing should really stand in your way any more. some of the downsides are the story just **** and makes no sense at all. about half way through the game i just didn't care any more wtf was going on any more with the story because it wasnt making any sense and the ending wont help any . also traveling around **** hard there is no fast travel . some pureist may prefer this but the majority of player will not and this is why. I really did not enjoy runing back and forth between the same areas 20-30x fighting the same enemies over and over again it got so damn boring and repetitive . it would have been fine if we where given a horse or atleast like in morrowind had the mages guild where they could teleport us to certain areas or hell even that had the silt strider as well. even with some of thoose big flaws DD is a really fun game even with the BIGGEST for a RPG having a crap story to still warrent your time.

the first LBP was a fun game and a nice venture into some thing new . LBP2 is a fun new sequel to the first that lets you do it all over again. The best part of this game is playing the stuff people have come up with . i found myself amazed at some of the levels and movies people put together . The biggest downside is the game doesn't feel like it adds alot of new stuff . the biggest thing i remember the devs saying about this one was how much easier it would be to make your own levels compared to the first and how much faster it would be . well its still a huge chore and if you look at some of the amazing levels people made it took them 100s of hours if not more to put together. which as much as i would like to make some thing like that i don't want to spend that kind of time doing . hopefully LBP3 will streamline this alot more. still its a fun game and if you enjoyed the first you will enjoy this one.

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City7
May 30, 2012
I'll start off by saying i paid only $20 for this game and if i paid $60 my score for this game would be getting chopped down abit to around a 4. though i was wise enough to hold off and the reason is because this by its self is only **** the rest of it is locked away or wasnt finished apperently and was added later as DLC like the spec ops missions which has you playing as the good guys ...really capcom ... you with hold half the damn game and break it up into to DLC packs and charge $9.99 for them? then there are no unlockables for this game as they are also all DLC . so prepared to have your wallet **** to get the full game . though like i said i paid $20 so for $20 more i got for the most part the rest of the game out side of the unlockables which i passed on. now for the game its self its not bad the graphics are decent but certainly not up to par with what they could have been. game play is some what like Gears of War and the game its self is kind of fun with some friends when you are fighting zombies and monsters , though i hated it any time you fought any guy with a gun and it no longer felt like resident evil just felt like a bland shooter . there are 7 missions (14 if you got the 2 DLC packs) that are around 40-60 min long so the game is about 5-6 hours long or double that if you got the DLC . as for replay value there really isnt alot , i ran through it 3 times although 2 would have been enough but another friend wanted me to run through with him . the classes don't feel like they add much of any thing to the game play since you spend 99% of your time just shooting or moving to the next place to shoot stuff any way and there special abilities do very little to make it feel very differnt from the others. The gun selection is decent but very few of the guns outside of what type of gun feels any differnt from the other. you can't upgrade your guns eather which would have been nice. overall this game just barely gets a score of a 7 and thats only like i said because of the price . its just to much of a bare bones game where capcom's real goal is to milk you to death on DLC for the real game . my advice is rent this first or buy it very cheap do not spend more then $20 on it .

Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice10
May 9, 2012
I love Disgaea and i Love SRPG's and played D3 on the PS3 and this was my main reason for getting a Vita and i am happy i did . this game is a very good deal at $40 with all the DLC from the PS3 version included plus some new stuff added . i ploped a good 100 hours into this game and havent gotten every thing done but just about only a few things left and thats mainly just trophywise . so there is alot to do in this game . i still find this one to be my favorite disgaea game i love the story and the humor is great . The only thing i could complain about is it would have been nice like in Disgaea 4 for some HD sprites but with all the content that went in i am not going to mark it down and we probubly would have had to wait another 6 more months for the game for that and with the Vita's lack of games right now i don't think i would want too. I am sure down the road there will be a D4 port to the Vita with the same treatment they did to D3 and then we can enjoy the HD sprites. so for now any disgaea fan who ownes a vita this is a must have.

More Rail shooters for the PS3 and more reason to use your PS Move if you have one. its a fast paced rail shooter with zombies rushing you 4-12 at a time and its lots of fun especially with a PS Move. The graphics look great the voice acting is cheesey like it should be (wish it was more like (HOTD OverKill) and best of all its at the nice price of just $10 . The game is very short like about 25 min long and you also have SP mode which is like a new story mode which will about double that but its alot of fun running through again trying to beat your score or others online . I've always had a love for theese games since back in the arcade and since we have never been drowning in them they are always still fun to play . i Hope sega keeps bringing some more of that HOTD fun to the PS3 for us hopefully though in a bigger game like Overkill but if this is what we have to settle for i will still be happy with it.

as a volley ball game the originl DOAX was pretty good and all the collecting of the swim suites gave you some bonus stuff to do now in DOAX2 the volley ball has gone to crap compared to the first . just way to much goofy stuff happens like going for a set and having the ball just roll down the front of your face , or the ball just bounce right off you and out of bounds when you go to bump it , or when you go to set or bump it or spike it and nothing happens your charicter just stands there or just runs off in some weird way. now it would be one thing if this happend rarely but it happens ALL THE TIME even to the AI team . then there is the jet ski racing which is ok except when you bump in to some thing which sends you flying all over the damn place also a track selection would have been nice. there is also flag chasing and butt bumping which is just dumb i did find the water slide thing kind of fun . pool hoping is also back but to me it doest work as well as it did in the first and its still boring as hell. Team ninja couldnt come up with better mini games then this? hell there exploiting the DOA girls might as well go for broke and do a wet T-shirt contest , strip Beer Pong , and mud wrestling for mini games. the graphics are ok the girls still lack any real graphical detail and there hair still looks awful.

ModNation Racers: Road Trip8
Mar 3, 2012
i never played modnation racers till i picked up my Vita. i found it to be alot of fun and the custumising your car and character alot of **** game plays alot like mario kart but without the feeling like you are getting screwed in the rear 6X in a row and you feel like skill matters abit more in this game. the ability to make and upload and dowload tracks also gives you infinite tracks to race on. The graphics are ok for the vita they don't feel as good as they should be. also the menues are not the best and navagating them is abit of a pain. the biggest killer for this game and god knows why they didn't include this but NO ONLINE PLAY!? this deffinitly should have been included in this game and would make the replay value last alot longer. all you get for multiplayer is Ad Hoc mode ... sorry but that doesn't cut it . still though its fun and for only $30 i am still enjoying it.

this game was kind of one of thoose suprise games . i saw activision and FPS and figured oh great another POS COD clone , just what i dont want or need. saw it was down to only $15 new and read some reviews and decided to give it a try and you know it s pretty good game. the graphics arn't to bad nothing steller the gun play is about the same but where the game kicks it up in its game play is the use of the powers you get and it makes the game feel abit differnt . the story is not half bad it was just intresting enough to make me want to know what was going to happen next. the gun selection is nothing special and its all pretty much the same stuff we've seen before . some of the creatures are pretty cool and the game is about 8 hours long and for $15 i thought it was worth it. it's atleast worth that or a rental.

RAGE5
Feb 23, 2012
When you think **** from ID you think of some good solid games like Doom . Rage had alot of hype and from the screen shots and trailers it looked very promising . Then i got to play it and the first thing i noticed right off the bat was just how god awful the texture pop in was . yes thoose graphics and facial animations look great when they don't take 5 seconds to load up. now texture pop ups to me is a small gripe if the game play is solid and fun and story is entertaining ... unfortunitly Rage doesnt do much better there eather. the gun play is good and solid and wepon selection great but the story is so abysmally dull you will not give a crap on what is going on. also the missions are just very very bland and repetitive . this game borrows heavily from boarderlands with out the fun, 4 player co-op or HUGE open world to run through. had this game had a huge open world , better missions, a some what a decent story . it could have been a pretty good game worth $60 as it is ... its not even worth renting because of ID's **** move to lock out some of the the games story content if you dont buy it new. id say im glad i only payed $18 for this new on Amazon only 2 months after it came out but i kind of can't but i atleast can say i am glad i didn't pay $60 for it because if i did it would get a lower score. it took me 3 months to finish the game because i was so bored with the game and not because it was long . it's only about 12 hours which actauly isn't bad for a FPS game but when its so boring i cant play it longer then 20-30 min at a sit down because i know longer give a crap... well that says alot about the game.

Feb 22, 2012
loved this game on the Wii and love it even more on the ps3 with the ps move and in 3d and lots more new stuff. we now have 2 new wepons and 2 new levels and 2 new game modes . i played this at a friends house in 3D and was just wowed by it and this was my deciding factor on buying a 3D TV . its just insane having zombies rush you in 3d and the game does it amazingly well and makes great use of the 3d effect. this is also one of the best rail shooters ive ever played .i was just crazy addicted to this game for a month and when i get my 3d tv i will be playing this game abunch more again. the story and voice acting is fantastic and is very on par with robert rodriguises grind hosue movie Planet of Terror. sega has now upgraded this game to HD as well and it looks much better plus some of the bosses are abit more of a challange now . this is how you make a already great game even better . i can only hope they make House of the Dead game for the PS3 now.

The Shoot7
Feb 21, 2012
i love rail shooting games and the PS move is just made for them . so when i heard the shoot was one and saw it was only $20 i decided to pick it up. the game is basically 4 movies and you are a actor in them and you go along a path shooting the enemies trying to rack up a multiplier for a high score to make the director happy. you get 3 bonus attacks that let you eather slow down time , give your rapid fire , or shoot every thing on the screen at once. its kind of fun and the game can toss alot of enemies at once at you but the game is really no challange at all to beat and there is no difficulty settings. the only replay value there is to be had is to go through again and get a higher score or work on **** graphics are pretty bland and are made to have a b movie look and all have a card board cut out look which is a shame . this could have been a much better rail shooter as is it's just ok and if you really like them like me and have a ps move then its worth picking up if you can get it for $20 or less.

Lost Planet 25
Jan 20, 2012
the first lost planet game was ok . it was like a arcade game with lots and lots of giant aliens to shoot ...but was lacking in some things. now capcom says people where begging for the next one...really??? who??? i didnt know any one who wanted another lost planet game . thats not to say they made some improvements cause they have but they screwed the pooch on one major one. remember how the first one you where fighting lots and lots of giant aliens ... well now you are very rarely fighting them . you are plowing through tons of really bad AI human's . where are the waves of aliens hordeing around you like in the first one? thats what i felt was the best part of the game . it has 4 player co-op which i love in games and feels great in thoose giant boss fights but the rest of the game feels so ho hum fightin through lame human drones. the story was dull and i just started skipping it . alot of the missions are really short some only like 2-3 min long. over all the game is about 4-5 hours so it is very short. the wepon selection is pretty much the same from the first one they didn't add any thing new . the graphics do look great and the explosions do as well. the online didn't do any thing for me and is on its last legs now adays . i got this game on clearence for only $8 new so i dont feel ripped off but i feel bad for any one who payed more then $15 for this game .if your looking for a game to kill aliens in go play the first lost planet game or get earth defense force incect armagedon much better games then this.

Jan 3, 2012
the first 2 fear games are decent FPS game and the 3rd is the same . its improved in some ways and disappointing in others. for starters fear tries not only to be a FPS game but a horror game as well and failed at it in the first one and got better in the second and now its pretty much about as scary as the first one again. which is a shame because this game series has alot of potential to be a great horror FPS franchise but never does get it right. that not to ay FEAR 3 is a bad FPS game because it is fun and the addition of co-op play is great . the missions though very scripted are pretty fun and the game is a fair challange and enimy AI is pretty good. the slow-mo shooting is still fun to do and you can now level up which will unlock new things like a slide attack ,more ammo , more health , ect. . i wouldnt want to have paid $60 for this game and thankfully i didnt i manage to get it on sale on amazon for $18 new. id say any thing around $20 for this game is worth a purchase or atleast a rental.

Portal 29
Dec 29, 2011
i loved the first portal and that says alot mainly because im not big into puzzle solving games but i had alot of fun with it when i picked up the orange box years ago. when portal 2 came out i heard many people complain it was to short to justify its $60 price tag and after being burned by valve on left for dead i waited to pick it up new for $24.99. which after playing through it any thing under $30 for this game is just about right . it is to short to justify a $60 price tag and even though it has co-op which is kinda neat this game doesnt really need it thats not to say it was tacked on in any sense. its pretty solid its just that i didnt feel a huge disire to play it . what this game should have had and would have justified a $60 price tag at its release would have been creat your own maps and share them with people like Little big planet. now that would have been awsome and ive heard they are working on that but its not due out till mid 2012 aover a year since the game came out... too long of a wait for some thing like that i think. moving on to the single player... its great the script and humor is fantastic and even better then the first for sure . many new additions to how you can solve puzzles . they are just hard enough to where you will have to some times sit for a few minuites and think on the real hard ones but never frustrating to where you wana just give up i felt which is just perfect. the game took me about 6-7 hours to complete so yes it isnt very long . though if you enjoy puzzle games or liked the first Portal it is worth picking up and by now you can get it cheap.

being a sorta deer hunter (havent gone in 10 years) i still enjoy the games and one of my favorites was Deer Hunter 2 on the PC, very realistic . the cabela's hunting games have always been a mixed bag for me . this one just feels so ho hum and nothing like real hunting . you get a decent amount of guns and animals to hunt but you will just breeze through this game like nothing. it is basically 12 stages with 5-6 hunts per stage and each stage takes about 10-15 min to complete . so this game is by no means gona be a time **** unless you want to gold medal every hunt which i just about did my first run through .i picked the game up for about $17 new on sale and it feels like more of a $9.99 game after playing through it.

i like racing games but im more in the Gran Turismo catagory of my style of racing games i like to play but i like arcadey ones like motor storm and love Daytona USA. i picked up split second cause it was used at my local pawn shop for $12 . the game is very simplistic with its only real key feature being you can activate theese special attacks that will knock the other cars out which is cool. unfortunitly the racing physics and just about every thing els eather kinda **** or feels mdiocore . this isnt a bad game but probubly more in line for kids to play as it will be easy for them to get the hang of. i just like alot of depth or at the very least some challange and split second has neather.

i never played duke back in the 90s . even though i heard alot of great things about the game i just never got around to it. i did get a chance a few years ago when they released it to the XBL arcade and it was kinda fun. now wehave a new duke game and it feels pretty much the same with just updated graphics . when in today with so many FPS games out there doing some thing old just doesnt really cut it . the graphics look like they are some thing we would see on a release game for a new console they sure dont impress. i also feel like i am doing more platforming and puzzle solving then i am doing any killing . the gun selection is ok but you can carry only 2 guns at a time and to me if they where gona keep any thing from the old FPS games why not let u carry as many guns as you want. dukes sexest charm and all the one liners he steals from The Army of Darkness is still there and some people complained about that but honestly thats what gives the game its only real charm and seperates it from every thing els . i dont know what els you would expect from this game in that **** game probubly would have felt great 7-9 years ago but in todays FPS market you got to be kinda new . over all not a highly recomended game unless you can get it cheap which you should be able to now adays . i got my copy for $15 new .

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim9
Dec 11, 2011
after almost 6 years we finally get the next elder scrolls game and after much hype does it live uo to what i had hoped it would be? for the most part yes the game looks amazing in the graphics department , there is a ungodly amount of stuff to do , the game now feels more of a challange unlike oblivion did , fighting dragons is awsome the charcter models look great unlike oblivions and the creat a charicter has been streamlined . the game has a new level up system which is simaler to the old elder scrolls games but is differnt and took it awhile to grow on me as you no longer have a set of prefered skills that level you up faster. the games story isnt bad but like most ES games it doesnt stand out as most people just get **** into all the extra stuff there is to do. there has been alot of raging on the games frame rate slowing down to near unplayable levels and ive had a friend tell me the same others have as well. i my self have over 120 hours into the game did pretty much almost every thing there is to do and have only encountered that slow down a few times and only lasted 1-2 minuites and went away so i cant complain about it personally.. but i can understand people raging against this game over it if they have gotten it alot. other then that one of my gripes is you still can not fly... well why the hell not? i miss that from morrowind. also the load times are abit long and i would think with the install to the ps3 you could speed that up alot more. over all i loved skyrim i put a 120 hours into it and had alot of fun and the game had me hooked from the first hour to the last.

one of the better RPG's ive played in awhile . a solid story and it plays abit like metal Gear Solid except in first person view . the game rewards you for being stealthy but if you want to just go in guns a blazin you can do that too. so you can play the game how you want too. there is also some really well done side quest that are actaully pretty long. there is also a good amount of guns to use . upgrading your character is very deep and you can unlock all kinds of cool stuff like invisability , punch through weak walls , and all kinds of other stuff. the game has a decent length to it to finish it . around 20-30 hours depending on if you take on alot of side quests or not or if you just blaze through shooting every thing. the game also has 4 differnt endings so there is replay value. the visauls are alittle mixed . the back ground graphics look pretty good and some of the charicter models look ok but alot of them just look bland . if you want a fun stealth based RPG then deus EX is surely worth getting.

BF3 had some massive hype on it mainly due to the new Frostbite engine being used. unfortunitly all thoose amazing screen shots and video's we saw of BF3 where not for the consoles but the PC version. thats not to say the game doesnt look damn good cause it sure does. graphics in the game look fantastic every thing is very detailed . the sounds in the game are also very well done and help give the feeling of more realism. well lets get on with the story mode . the last 2 BF games had a decent story mode you and your team all had some personality and the story was so so i thought . just enough there to barely hold your intrest. BF3 has taken a major down turn in this area . the story mode pretty much just **** . you pretty much just live through flash backs of the main character as he tells his story to two guys .the story mode almost feels like its trying to be more like COD MW ... dull , boring and void of fun . the bright spot is the online mode . if you liked BF1 and 2 online you will have no problem getting into BF3 . its a very team based . the maps are huge and look great and are alot of fun . people like to complain this is such a massive Camping game . well its focus is on realism , sorry to disappoint you but the military soldiers dont run out all over the place and shoot like a bunch of morons . if you want to run around like a chicken with your head cut off shooting every thing that moves go play COD. down sides of the online would be that when you first start the game you feel way under powered compared to higher level players . which feels like BS and probubly wouldnt be a major issue if you didnt level up so damn slow. over all though the online is alot of fun .

i remember playing it in the arcade back in the mid 90s and just being amazed at this game . it looked fantastic and plays as good as it looks. now flash foward 16 years later and it still looks and plays damn good. even with great racing games like gran turismo and Forza out there , Daytona USA is is just pure Arcade fun . this makes me want to take my 50" LCD tv and buy a seperate PS3 and use my logitech steering wheel just to make this my own personal arcade game. cause for years i wanted it . now we get daytona usa in HD with 8 player online racing some extra content like challenge , karaoke , time trial and survival mode added in . also supports logitech steering wheels to help give you that arcade feel. this is a perfect port of one of the best arcade racing games of the 90s. i really can only say i wish they added more a few new tracks and the cars off the sega saturn version would be great but hey this is only $9.99 in the PSN store or $6.99 if you have plus . so over all this is a great deal for what you are getting. if you are a fan of the old daytona usa game go and buy it.
