It's difficult to write a review for a production that encompasses three extensive games at once. And even more difficult to give a single, fair assessment. Taken individually, Mass Effect Legendary Edition reveals its flaws, shortcomings, and missed opportunities. However, viewed as a whole, as a single, coherent, self-contained narrative, it unfolds its wings and reveals its full beauty, centered around one of the best video game narratives ever created. This isn't a story about another space war, another Cepid invasion of Earth, or another Locust invasion of Earth; it's a galactic sci-fi space odyssey in which the protagonist's decisions determine the fate of the entire galaxy.A unique, unrepeatable, and emotional experience for the player.Final score: 9.40 / 10
Metro: Exodus Enhanced Edition elevates the entire series to the pedestal of one of the best survival horror games with RPG **** change in the game structure: from a linear storyline of metro stations to a semi-sandbox open world gives the entire series a unique freshness. Traveling through the post-apocalyptic landscapes of Russia - from snowy wastelands through desert steppes to steamy, ruined swamps - gives an incredible sense of exploration and immersion. Each region has its own history and atmosphere here, which is simply **** beginning of the main storyline in Metro: Exodus Enhanced Edition is one of the best story starts in the history of computer **** discovery that life exists outside Moscow is one of the most electrifying moments in the entire series. It changes the whole perspective, both for the player and Artyom himself. The beginning of the game is therefore masterfully designed, because it gives you a sense of an incredible breakthrough, but at the same time leaves questions and secrets that motivate further exploration.DetailsThe game's strongest point, apart from introducing a semi-open world, is its attention to **** game is a story that you have to get involved in as much as possible. The HUD system has been eliminated to almost zero so that nothing distracts you during exploration and to emphasize the survival nature of the game. NPCs are not just a program to perform specific actions and generate random statements - here, each of Artyom's companions has their own story to tell and has a lot to say. The creators' intention was to be able to bond with the crew of the Aurora - and so you can smoke a cigarette with them, drink moonshine or play the guitar - but that's just the beginning. A dirty weapon can jam in the middle of combat, stepping on burnt steps results in the collapse of the structure, and the last bandit from the group will surrender begging for mercy, while the opponent you spare will not forget it in the future. Next, you can observe how monsters fight each other, each species has a different strategy for hunting the protagonist and each chapter includes a different type of opponent. Perhaps the most surprising detail is when you light a fire under a kettle, it will start boiling after a while. I think I've only seen an equal level of attention to detail in the game in Red Dead Redemption 2. The missions are interesting, engaging, and not boring - the creators have tried to intertwine stealth elements with open combat, although the game lacks some side quests that would enrich the entire gameplay.ExplorationIn this game, every side path can hide something extraordinary - whether it's an additional story or unique resources that will be useful on your journey. Exploration is a real reward in itself, and the world seems alive and full of surprises. It's these moments that make Metro: Exodus so engaging. The game world is full of secrets and non-obvious stories that you can discover on your own with incredibly beautiful, mature graphics that do not lose their freshness even after many years. The light operation module using RTX technology has taken the title to graphical heights. Using the photo mode, you can capture beautiful screenshots, and the whole thing is complemented by a nostalgic, slightly sad audio setting. Graphic, survival, and exploration elements are the strongest pillars of the game, apart from which a deeper history of the world has been taken care of. Controlling Artyom is suggestive, fluid, and perfectly optimized. The available weapons are perfectly used, each of which is useful in a different situation.DisadvantagesDespite its huge advantages, the game has not been spared from flaws that have robbed it of its perfection.Like the previous parts, the game has graphical errors. There are not many of them, they do not destroy the gameplay in any way, but they are visible, occur and distort the entire image of the production. Even tons of patches and the release of the extended edition did not eliminate the game's bugs, and that is **** item crafting system could be more extensive.I think that implementing an item crafting system in the game is a great concept - further emphasizing the survival nature of the production - however, it is relatively poor, containing basically only a basic reconstruction framework. In the game, we do not have the ability to collect other equipment elements apart from weapon parts, scrap or chemicals, and the game at such a level of realism is begging for the introduction of a hero's food system, the need to hydrate the character or even a poisoning, wound or sleep system - even if not on the lowest difficulty level, then at least on a dedicated game level! Unused potential. Equipment that could be managed would be welcome, because in the game we only get a backpack to craft ammunition or change the sight.
An absolute MUST-PLAY

It is difficult to unequivocally assess Metro 2033 Redux as a bad or good game.Metro 2033 Redux is suspended between a game and an adaptation of Dmitry Glukhovsky's book, with the latter aspect being excellently fulfilled, all fans of Glukhovsky's work will be delighted that they can independently control Artyom's fate, unfortunately as a game it lacks depth, **** game leads us linearly through the plot from chapter to chapter, from location to location, not allowing us to even delve deeper into the specifics of the station - and what was done to Polis (or rather what was not done) was a crime - Artyom simply entered and left.I would describe Metro 2033 Redux as a narrative game with elements of survival horror. The game's strong points are certainly its atmosphere. The title has a dirty, dense, disgusting atmosphere. Walking through the alleys of the Moscow metro, you can almost feel the mustiness hanging in the air, gnawing at your nostrils. The game rewards all explorers and players who sniff around the nooks and crannies of the metro. It is worth getting lost in one of the branches here, just to find some loot or keys to the safe located further away by one of the dozens of **** that's where the game's strongest points **** title has a lot of technical shortcomings. In each chapter, you can come across a few technical errors. In addition, I had the feeling that the ending was exaggerated by this mysticism - I would much rather watch the dirty, stinking corridors of the metro. And I completely do not understand the essence of the two endings, but I will not dwell on that here. I would give the game a rating of 8, but due to the technical problems I mentioned, my final rating for this game will be 7
The Perfect Horror Alien: Isolation is an exemplary sci-fi horror film that tells the story of Amanda Ripley, the daughter of Ellen Ripley, known from R. Scott's film universe, who comes to Sevastopol Station in search of a black box from the tugboat "Nostromo".
One would like to say "like mother, like mother" because both the mother and the daughter will have to fight a murderous battle with a bloodthirsty creature from outer space. Alien: Isolation starts slowly, slowly drawing the player into the dark corners of the Sevastopol station descending into chaos. Those looking for a well-known brawl straight from the Alien vs. series are here. Predator may be disappointed. It's a zero-sum battle between Ripley and the unnamed evil lurking in the depths of the station. The atmosphere created in the game is extraordinary, absolutely unforgettable. The feeling of being isolated in a closed station somewhere on the outskirts with a predatory beast hunting you, mixed with mounting tension and a desperate, even hopeless fight for survival is the most unique experience I have experienced in video games. I completed the title twice - the first time on high difficulty level, the second time on 'nightmare' mode. The first contact with the game and coming face to face with humanity's greatest nightmare is an unforgettable experience.
If we add to all this amazing music, which intricately builds the tension and atmosphere of horror, and a really well-rendered voice of the protagonist, we get an (almost) perfect horror movie. There are minor technical errors, but the entire title is crushing and jaw-dropping. The game has been perfectly designed, providing the user with a real emotional cocktail in waves, attacking from the stages of tension through the dramatic fight for survival to the subsidence of emotions and a short moment to collect troubled thoughts - a revelation!
And the experience of how the titular Alien functions is... indescribable in written words. You just have to experience it. When you are walking around one of the seemingly abandoned wings of the station, a black, slimy, hissing alien organism suddenly emerges from the air vent, whose sole purpose from now on is to find you... and kill you. Rating: 10/10.
Visceral Games in 2011 set the bar high for all future survival horror games, because Dead Space 2 is an almost perfect sequel. Tension, stress and the accompanying ubiquitous fear begin in the first minute of the game, and with an intense finale they last until the very end of the game. Emotions, emotions and more emotions. This noun describes how you feel while playing Dead Space 2. At the same time, this dose of emotions is a truly destructive mixture. Anxiety, fear, hate, stress, a sense of hopelessness, constant struggle and harassment are just a few epithets among the whole lot. Chapter by chapter through the eyes of Isaac Clarke, we watch the Titan Space Station plunging into ever greater chaos. And it becomes a feast for the senses and a challenge for our adrenal glands. The audio-visual setting once again stands on a high level, exemplary for all horror movies. It is brutal, bloody, detailed and ghastly. The enemy models are terrifying. One of the most disgusting, hideous creatures in the history of video games. Almost everyone attacks our protagonist with a piercing roar. Playing on a high level of difficulty is not a challenge, it is well-balanced, but each encounter with a series of opponents requires a large percentage of your focus and reflexes to get out of the fight unscathed. The plot is a direct continuation of the first part and is divided into 15 different chapters that will not let the player get bored. Thanks to the audio files scattered here and there, we get to know the macabre history of the station members by delving into more and more turmoil. In Dead Space 2, we get more of everything. And the symbolic return to the decontaminated USG vessel Ishimura - to the place where it all began - is an additional plus for the game. It is difficult for me to say whether I can recommend this title, because it is not a production for everyone. What more sensitive people will not be able to get through the real cosmic horrendum. However, for people with strong nerves and a strong psyche, the game will be an iconic work. A nightmarish revelation. 9/10
The hardest horror movie I've ever played. The feeling of constant threat and intimidation of your companions from the very beginning, almost until the end of the game. The terrifying audio-visual setting completes the works of brutal sci-fi horror. Rejecting monstrous abominations that rush straight at you with macabre screams makes each encounter a source of considerable stress and tension. That is why the game is extremely tiring mentally. And it would be a perfect horror game, if not for the fact that the game was made typically for the console, and on the PC you can feel the roughness of the character control. The whole thing is completed by a terrible ragdoll. After all, it's terrifyingly sensational horror with an interesting plot. Rating: 9/10.
First Encounter Action Recon 3 in its form differs slightly from the formula of the previous two views. Takes a bit of choking away and adds more action. The possibility of playing in co-op has been introduced and an extensive multiplayer mode has been added. A system of points and mini-challenges has been introduced and a character with kinematic skills has been added. The number of available weapons has been taken into account, the amount of ammo has been reduced and the use of shields, which is a key activity, has returned. I do not delve too much into the plot of the game - it is the culmination of Alma Wade's story. The game is short, because it lasts less than 6 hours, but the developers have left the players with the tools to play and increase the number of hours. F.E.A.R. 3 is a very good FPS with everything in the F.E.A.R. good. For fans of the universe and enthusiasts of cooperative play, the title is worth attention. Rating: 8/10
F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin, even 11 years after its premiere, remains a great game. An absolutely perfect horror-FPS with a terrifying audio-visual setting, an incredibly addictive atmosphere of fear, bloody arrangement of the location and a really interesting story that makes you want to get to know it despite the heavy environment of the game. Certainly, this is not a game for everyone - the recipient's maturity alone is not enough - strong mental resistance will be indispensable, as Alma Wade will do everything to leave the mark of horror on the protagonist. Whoever has the courage - let them play.
Hitman is a kind of reboot of a series of games about the adventures of an unnamed assassin, a departure from the heavy, fictional climate of 'Absolution' and the long-awaited fulfillment of all fans' requests for the new production to return to its former tracks, to the roots of the series in the place where it left them, namely to the fourth part of the series which is entitled 'Hitman Blood Money'. Every fan and enthusiast of the series will receive in the latest title everything that they know from 'Blood Money' only better, more, more interesting and transparent. The story is again just the outer layer of the game and provides a complementary background without affecting the gameplay in any way. Again, there will be 47 flying around the world, looking at new places, and in them with pleasure to murder the goals commissioned by the ICA. The briefing known from 'Bloody Money' returns, in which 47 can again choose his equipment, which, along with the development of game progress, is enriched with new tools of murder. The game is definitely more transparent and legible. Added to it are challenges to be achieved, places to explore, feats to perform, and special opportunities with which you can eliminate the goal in a sophisticated way. Hitman is a hybrid of the last two titles of the Danish studio IO Interactive. Proven solutions from 'Absolution' such as: instinct, hiding behind obstacles or suspicions of bystanders have been mixed with the gameplay model known from 'Blood Money' improving it and making it version 2.0. However, you have to ask the question whether all the changes made are changes for the better - in my opinion not. There is even a lack of effective intuitive shooting. An interesting story layer that will absorb the player as in the case of 'Absolution'. Graphically, Hitman is a game worse than the previous part. And they divide them, up to 4 years difference. Graphic models do not match the 2016 game standards - there has been a fairly serious regression in this respect. Thanks to the new formula, the playability of the title has decreased, and it is more difficult for the user to feel the atmosphere of the game. In 7 locations only the last one - the medical center on the Japanese island of Hokkaido has treated me with its setting. When we add to this the astronomical amount that the creators demanded for buying their product, the decision to buy it prompts more reflection. In addition, at some stage of the game the potential viewer may get tired. The game is not as macabre colorful as its predecessor, and it looks neat, clean and elegant. There are few spectacular killings, and even they do not provide too much admiration. There is "what to do" in the new Hitman. The content of the game is rich, I spent less than 70 hours myself, but the quality was hit at the expense of quantity. If this part were released in 2012, immediately after 'Hitman: Blood Money', I would praise the title, appreciating its progress, because I can't think of anything but the term - Blood Money 2.0. Only that.. Exactly, just that the perfect Hitman Absolution appeared on the way, and comparing these three titles side by side, today this edition is the best part about the adventures of the nameless killer. Final note: 7, good
