How this got 76, I don't know. It's tons of fun. Sure, it is a little repetitive, but the same can be said for pretty much every game in this fashion out today.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II

After playing the game for a bit longer, I have decided that my review was a bit harsh. The storyline is honestly not that bad (look at every other Call of Duty game past Modern Warfare and you'll get what I mean), and although the combat is still generic, it's still a quantum leap from anything Infinity Ward has churned out recently. In short, good game ruined by little to no innovation. (Oh, and on a side note, the people posting 1-point reviews just want to look cool. Trust me, I was like this when I was a kid too.)

Generic. That's really the word for it. It isn't good, it isn't bad, it's just...generic. There isn't much that Arctic Combat offers that you can't get from some random Call of Duty game.

Ahhh, Seduce Me, from the makers of Killzone... well, if I was tasked to describe this "game" in just a single word, this is what that word would be: BAD.

Tons of potential just completely squandered by clunky controls and programming. It has every core mechanic that makes a game great, including a fantastic story, but then just trips over its own shoelaces when you start to play it.

The slightly crippled remake of Shank. It's good, I'll give it that, but the gameplay just seems really icky when compared to its superior predecessor.

An absolutely brilliant and well-polished game with very nice core mechanics and a fantastic art style. Only problem: THE DIFFICULTY IS FREAKING ABNORMAL. Seriously, I have died so many times that the number of deaths I have equals the number of times I was sent to detention in school, meaning a lot. Psuedo-9.5/10

This is the coolest game in the world. Everything you do boils down to skill and skill alone, and even if you **** at the game, you can still have tons of fun. The game is incredibly well designed, even to the tiny things. All in all, if you don't like this game, you should go back to playing Halo 3 or whatever it is your get spoonfed for breakfast.

If you just take the ending out of this, this is another beautiful addition to the Mass Effect series, and (in my opinion), the most refined in terms of gameplay and overall design. Please disregard the hundreds of thousands of babies whining about the ending, which, by the way, is only 15 minutes of your 20-something hour experience.

There isn't really anything bad I can say about this, really. The difficulty is insane, and there isn't much of a story there, but everything else in FTL is just so damn good that you don't really care. Also, the soundtrack is freakin' awesome. Seriously, get this game.

The concept itself is good, but the controls just feel bulky, the singleplayer is a joke, and the skill system is both confusing and conflicting. It seems like the developers said "Lets make a great game" during a conference call, and then never said a word detailing the mechanics. It needs patching and an actual story before I can give this an actual rating.

Really good gameplay, a great atmosphere, it just feels a bit rushed and strange to play is all. Also, this thing will eat your graphics card alive, be sure to ask your local supercomputer company if they have rentals.

League of Legends

The problem with League of Legends isn't a problem with the game itself per se (although there are quite a few flaws in the system that, although not gamebreakers, do ruin the experience), but rather, with the absolutely terrible community and the design of MOBA's themselves. Firstly, although there are many genuine gamers in the LoL community who are just out there to have fun, and at times truly do want to help new and struggling players, the vast majority of LoL players are complete and utter jackasses that are completely self-centered in an entirely team-based game. I keep finding myself playing horrible games where a single teammate will just ruin it for everyone by being a complete **** to everyone on the team. In fact, I find people who dont understand how to play a more enjoyable teammate than one that just completely ruins the experience with his mindless drivel. But, I think this problem stems from the MOBA genre itself. Although LoL has many features to reduce the severity of this problem (no loss of gold on death, lower champion level cap, etc), MOBA's are very, very infuriating to play when you can't play them right. Games usually just boil down to "Who can make the most mistakes first" instead of actual knowledge and skill, and this only increases the amount of anger, which in turn increases the amount of mistakes and creates a vicious cycle only dedicated players can escape from. A lot of people talk about "ELO Hell" and how it doesn't or does exist, and I think that it does exist for some and not for others, mainly because of this. LoL is great for people new to the MOBA genre since it seems to be the most user-friendly of them all (DOTA 2 is VERY punishing towards noobies), but even a benevolent dictator is a dictator. TL;DR: Good game if you are patient and willing to put up with ****
