From the get go, this movie is more of a comedy in my opinion with a hint of horror scattered throughout with jumpscares and suspense. The movie wasn't half bad as I originally thought it would be as I saw from the trailers back when this movie was in the cinema. From the beginning, there was a moment of cheesy dialouge that was playing a stereotype of how Gen Z act that made me cringe but as the movie progressed, I enjoyed it more and found it more entertaining. The jumpscares can be predictable for the most part but the suspense that it built sometimes and some of the jumpscares this movie threw at the audience can expect a few scares out of the viewers. If you went in watching this movie for pure horror, go watch a different movie because you will be disappointed. This turned out to be, accidentally, a sorta good comedy with a hint of horror. As a horror movie, it's bad, as a comedy movie, not half bad.

The sequel stays true to its core of being based around street racing, tuner imports but this time, it the antagonists aren't petty street racers, robbing trucks full of DVD players. This movie can be seen as the beginning of when the franchise starts having a big antagonist such as a cartel member that members of the team have to take down. Carter Verone is a good antagonist but probably the weakest out of the whole franchise. The introduction of Tej and Roman was a great choice, and the casting option for those 2 was also a great choice, in particularly picking Tyrese Gibson to play Rome who smashed the role of being a comedic but bad-ass friend of Brian which the two share a great chemistry together. Paul Walker's performance of Brian was better than the first movie, making his character more confident and less enigmatic right from the beginning, and letting the audience know who's in charge. 2 Fast 2 Furious is a great sequel despite what critics say, and definietly my top 3 movie of the whole franchise.

Forget what the critics say about this movie, The Fast and the Furious will be a timeless classic in my book that I can go back to and not get bored of. From the cars, to the plot, to the cast, to the racing, this movie does it right and for many, this is where the love for cars and tuners began, and would inspire franchises like Need for Speed with its Underground series which would later on inspire other racing games. I love this movie and its possibly the best one from the whole franchise without a doubt.

I was on the edge of a 6 or 7 but went with the 6 in the end. After 10 years, we got a sequel to Zombieland and it wasn't as good as the first one but it wasn't a bad movie. It was still fun to watch but some of the jokes are so 2009 or the movie just didn't have any new ones to improve upon from the first movie. It's not a bad 6 but it's not a great one either, it's ok.

A good zombie comedy that is up there with other zombie comedies such as Shawn of the Dead. A great and prominent cast featuring Emma Stone, Jesse Eisenberg and Woody Harrelson with memorable one liners "nut up and shut up" and other gimmicks such as the rules to surviving zombieland and Tallahassee's quest of finding a twinkie that make's this movie unique from other zombie movies and other zombie comedies in particular. Definietly a recommended watch.

An amazing movie starring Jim Carrey with an idea that is unique and interesting. The psychological comedy-drama is a movie I highly recommend watching and the plot is amazing. Truely one of the best movies of the 90s.

Scarface is a true classic in cinema that still holds up to this day. It's a movie worth watching starring Al Pacino as Tony Montana, possibly one of my favourite and best characters created and they couldn't of picked anyone better to portray him. The movie has interesting aspects it looks at, and the storyline is dark and melancholic. Definitely a movie worth watching and a movie I'll be rewatching in the future.

One of the memorable horrors of the decade. Sinister has impressed me with the cinematography and its use of sound along with the music that keeps you on edge. Some of the scares are predictable but at times, the use of sound, suspense and surprise does get you. I would say that most of the scares are unique to any horror I've seen, whilst some are cliché, easy to predict and sometimes are put in place to try and get a good final scare out of you. The movie took the concept of murder mystery and "found footage" and did it properly, less cliché and much more interesting, cutting out the cheesiness where there is a happily family vlogging their happy life where the ghost starts terrorising them after a while *cough* *cough* Paranormal Activity *cough*. This movie got to the point quick which grabbed the attention of the viewer from the start as it should. Personally, I enjoyed this movie, good cast featuring Ethan Hawke and Juliet Rylance and the director showed himself off and wasn't a stranger to this particular horror genre with movies that he directed in the past such as "The Exorcism of Emily Rose" which I have heard good things about. The cuts, shots, cinematography, special effects and especially the sound and music made for a good horror movie and definitely a memorable one, maybe even a future classic our current generation will look back on in a few decades as we have with movies such as "The Exorcist".

Most people see this movie as a classic. Me however, whilst I do see why it was good for its time and a classic for most, it wasn't memorable for me as much. I enjoyed the scenes with Hannibal Lecter more than the other scenes in the movie due to the amazing performance by Anthony Hopkins. Hopkins really makes the movie standout for me, and in my opinion, it's worth seeing the movie for Lecter despite not being the main villain.

Full Metal Jacket is a classic in the genre of war films. A great movie that I recommend to anyone that is into learning about the military or the Vietnam War. It's a movie that I've kept coming back to every now and again and I still feel the same emotions as I did watching that movie the first time and times after that. The shock, feeling of pity for people like Pyle, the consequences and treatment of the Vietnamese by the Americans and even their own people. Every war and war movie (such as Full Metal Jacket, Saving Private Ryan, Hacksaw Ridge) is made to remember those who served and gave their lives on the frontlines, because no matter if they come back dead or alive, they are no longer the person they used to be even if we don't see a difference.

The 2009 remake starts off strong. Immediately we see that the new Jason is deadlier, faster and more powerful when hunting down his prey. The new Jason is probably one of my favourite Jason's from the franchise, I love his agility and Machete kills and some of the other creative kills such as the axe throw or the Bear trap. People will say that "It's nothing like the originals, what is this crap?", but what people you gotta understand that slashers were a lot different back in the 80's than it was in 2009. Friday the 13th did a good job for the 21st Century standard and did a cool spin on "What if Friday the 13th was set in modern times/How would the movie look with the new and improved cinematography 20 years later. The originals will still be classics in cinema history but in my opinion, this movie should be separated away from the 80's and 90's Friday the 13th anthology and stay in its category of its own or go in the category of "reboots of classic horrors". It would be cool to get another Friday the 13th film, 10 years later, same with what they did with Halloween. Overall, the reboot is a great movie. The classic Friday the 13th movies are classics and are great in their own way just as this movie is great in its own way. I wouldn't personally compare the two as they come from 2 different decades and in my opinion, rocked both decades when it came to slasher movies.

Amazing movie that always has something interesting going on with the scene or characters. Zemeckis made the right move picking Denzel Washington to play the Captain have he performed the role very well. This movie is definitely worth watching.

Inception is a masterpiece of the decade. The movie isn't the typical linear movie from start to finish. The whole idea and concept of dreaming being made into a movie with multiple layers. It doesn't always tells you what the movie means, leaving the audience to think for themselves about what was meant in that scene. The movie is full of unpredictable twists, taking science fiction to the next level, taking a little thing as dreaming and turning it into a theory and concept. Nolan picked a great cast for the movie (Leonardo DiCaprio, Cillian Murphy) which is one of the foundations of the greatness of this movie along with the script and Nolan's cinematography, great use of CGI and the idea of dreaming. Despite it being science fiction, the movie isn't overly exaggerated as it could've been and tries to be as realistic as possible whilst keeping the audience engaged and having the right amount of action. Also not to forget to mention the music composed by Hans Zimmer which is absolutely amazing and made for one of the best endings to a movie in my opinion. The ending got people talking for a long time debating if Cobb is back to reality or if he's still in a dream and that is when you know the movie was done right.

Don't listen to the critic reviews. This movie is amazing. Joaquin nailed it 100% when it comes to playing the Joker with the laugh, the tone of his voice, his facial expressions and importantly the acting. The made the right choice picking him over Jared Leto. The way the movie is executed and doesn't give away too much with what's happened or what's going to happen leaves you at the edge of your seat asking yourself "What's going to happen"/"What's happened?". The plot twist(s) prevents the movie from being predictable and too linear and leaves you discussing the movie after you watched it which is mostly a sign **** movie if the discussions are positive. Overall, the cinematics of the movie are amazing and the movie wouldn't get this rating if it wasn't for Joaquin's amazing acting, which made me restore my faith in Hollywood picking good actors who can act and not just because of Political Correctness.
