The overbooking conundrum builds to a sentimental speech from Kermit and a feel-good ending set to Queen’s “Don’t Stop Me Now.” Sentiment is consistent with the Muppets gestalt, but not really part of “The Muppet Show.” But I will excuse it, and hope they return with more.

When rebooting a property as beloved as “The Muppet Show,” the first priority is not to screw anything up. Rogen and company managed to achieve that, providing a nostalgic foundation that should give them as much runway as they want for future experimentation.

The new Muppets show special is a delightful return to the charm, humor, and heartfelt fun that I have loved for **** this special is any indication, the Muppets are ready for a full series revival.

10/10. Alsolutely brilliant & 100% authentic. It was like time had not passed. There is something there for people of all ages to be entertained and enjoy the magic and genius of Jim Henson's greatest creation. In the complicated and uncertain world we live in 2026 a full re-launch would bring so much happiness.

Im so glad they brought this show back and did it so well. The fear of every reboot is screwing it up but this show is done amazingly. It’s funny for all ages and it’s the first time i watched live television and not streaming in years. I hope more people watch it and it gets more episodes.

A very mild version of what Muppet show used to be. Its not bad, but its not good either. Just surprisingly bland. Maybe it can pick up pacing and do some actual comedy and spoofs further on. Here's hoping.

Vale pela nostalgia e pelo carinho aos fãs, mas a grande verdade é que o material precisa se renovar para o século XXI. A participação do Seth Rogen é estranha, fora do tom, e o ritmo como um todo é meio desgovernado. Ou não sou fã suficiente?
