After some hours this game in the series I'm the least impressed with. I've had a lot of fun with all previous installments. My issues are that it's very slow. Painfully slow. The characters have zero personality. The game gives you tutorials for various things but when it matters there is no logic or explanation to how it works. It's told on a very odd not satisfying way. It's also incredibly dark and badly lit. Half the time you have no idea what's happening. Me and my friends are disappointed.

The game has some critique about story and hard puzzles etc. Personally, the gameplay is solid 10/10. When the game is this fun to play. I don't mind if some aspects **** has to take the back seat. Haven't had this much fun since Breath of the Wild and Red Dead Redemption 2. I'm 80 hours in and my itch for exploring and adventures is just growing.

I have to be honest with myself and accept that I am disappointed. It's not a bad game in any way. It's just not as good as the older games. The fighting is quick, but messy. Most monsters will target you specifically even tho you are a mage and keeping your distance. Great swords are missing. No matter what class you choose, combat feels very similar. Home base and travelling system is unnecessarily complicated and feels awkward. Suddenly eluvian mirrors are everywhere and jumping between them feels like Mario 64. Characters are all sweet, almost to sweet. (I was also very confused as to why my old inquisitor had to be either black or Asian?)I don't mind the new art style. It's a bit Pixar, it's nice. The whole game feels more family friendly and colourful. More fairytale than fantasy. Bit of an odd choice for the series. But I don't mind **** in all. It's an ok game. Just not what I expected and was looking forward too.A lot of what made the older games great is gone, and some very odd choices of story and game design has taken it's place.I'm trying to stay open to it, but honestly, a bit disappointed. Updated: had to lower the score cuz I'm just bored with the fighting now, and the levels, and the "puzzles".

I'm trying to stay open to it, but honestly, a bit disappointed. Updated the score. Because I'm bored of the fighting, levels and puzzles. And why is there no normal beards?

I am in love with this game. It's brutal, dirty, dark and wonderful. I am super impressed by the design and all the models in the game. Story mode is super fun to play through and there is so much to do in the game. Also very excited about the customisations. I'm so glad I decided to come back to Mortal Kombat. Also, I have no issue with the difficulty. It's challenging in an old school hardcore way. It's cool.

5 Different characters and 250+ hours of gameplay later and I must say this might be my favorite game of the last years. The characters are so good, diverse and well written. Character editor is excellent. I love the choices of 4 different voices and different races and everything. Just the fact that after 250 hours into the game I still find completely new things and cut scenes and developments is just astounding. This game makes A LOT of other studios look very lazy. Environments are beautiful, taking down dragons is super fun and although the main villain is a little bit flat. That's just the only small point of the corner of this excellent game. To just remake the history of the game and restart is so much fun. Love it.

Such a gorgeous game and fun game play and then it falters by the fact that its sooooo boring with the main character. I am so over the same boring white dude over and over and over. Please look at other games that solved this and fix it. I'm so disappointed after the first few hours so I'm giving it up. Been here done this. Waste **** game.

Beautiful graphics and a wonderful engine and open world. But what about the story, game play and characters. Its so outdated and boring. It's so stereotype I'm falling asleep. What happened to the ladies in the first GTA for example? Please use your great game and engine and make something exciting and new! Please! It's like nintendo all over. Just the same game over and over. So dissapointed.
