Perhaps owing to the nearly six-year gap between Seasons 6 and 7, this final lap is basically self-encapsulated and requires almost no effort to get up to speed (narrator extraordinaire Tom Kane will help with that part). ... Bottom line: If you loved The Mandalorian, you just might like Star Wars: Clone Wars.

Clone Wars--the "Star Wars" animated series that amounts to an "interquel" between Episodes II and III--is vastly superior to the advance theatrical movie. That's mostly beacuse the half-hour episodes are so jam-packed with action the clunky dialogue flies by less obtrusively, and the irritating characters have less time to annoy.

If you expect it to be good--then yes, it's as disappointing as the summer movie it follows. If you think of it as a kid-oriented spin-off product--well, it still suffers from characters with all the vibrancy and pizazz of a PowerPoint marketing plan.

Star wars the clone wars is a seven season animated series that takes place in between Episode ii Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith if follows familiar Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker and his new Padawan ahsoka and clone captain rex and several Jedi from the prequel films aa they face off against the separatist alliance led by Count Dooku and general grievous however the evil Darth Sidious who is secretly Chancellor Palpatine is manipulating both side of the war and all the while seducing Anakin Skywalker to the dark side of the Force. Also they will face villains like asajj ventress and Bounty Hunter Cad Bane and the return of the evil Sith Lord Darth Maul Here's my ranking ofthe seasons of the show from worst to best
1. Season one 2. Season Two called the Rise of the Bounty Hunters
3. Season three subtitled secrets revealed
