There’s no denying the depth; with countless titles within the world of “Fallout” from which to scrape material, it’s a complex story to tell, yet Season Two showrunners Graham Wagner and Geneva Robertson-Dwonet have succeeded in taking the reins from Season One’s Jonathan Nolan and continued to move “Fallout” right along seamlessly.

Season two draws more directly from its gaming source material – notably 2010’s admired Fallout: New Vegas – but remains pleasingly dense with jokes, splatter and slapstick.

The adaptation was excellent, the characters were very well developed, and the plot was exciting. I liked how they developed the story and the unexpected twists they included. The production is impeccable.

The sophomore outing of “Fallout” might have a few shaky rounds to start the evening out, but across the latter portion of its season, it’s poised to go on quite the run before it leaves the table for the night. In short, Season 2 is well worth the ante up.

Fallout’s second season – at least the first six episodes of it – is both a strong return to its uniquely bizarre post-apocalypse world and an admirably authentic adaptation of what made New Vegas distinct among its series peers.

All told, “Fallout” remains messy and violent in its second season, but the intrigue and new mysteries largely retain the interest of longtime fans and newcomers.

As great as Goggins and Theroux are in these long stretches of the show, especially the sixth episode, it feels like it makes for a show that lacks direction.

Parts of the show are too silly to care about at all. Parts are oppressively glum. And every now and then — almost always involving Goggins — it gets the balance just right.

If you're a fan of the fallout universe this show is an absolute masterpiece of the highest order from start to finish. Its crazy to me that people criticize this show and call themselves fans of fallout. The show is literally a main quest and every episode has an interesting side quest. The characters are complex and interesting. I mean Cooper howard is by far the most interesting character I have ever seen in a video game adaptation in my life. The show gives me the feeling I've had when playing the fallout games myself. The intrigue, the mystery, the before the war tid bits. Whoever writes this show needs a position at Bethesda because these guys understand the material and know how to use all the lore bits with a fresh take, that still has all the same rules as the fallout universe. If you are one of these knuckleheads clowning this show then you're also the same type of person that spam skips all the dialogue in the games and complain how boring it is. The dialogue is Fallout's bread and butter! This is what the show is, yes there's fighting and action but there's political intrigue, there is mysteries from before the war there is rules that each faction follow! This show is Fallout to a T and i dare say its the greatest actual video game adaptation I've ever seen and no other video game live action film has stuck to the source material as strongly as these writers have achieved. Im a diehard fallout fan and I can honestly say this show is done incredibly well and incredibly accurate to what the games have always strived to be.

İlk sezon kadar iyi değildi ama yine de keyifliydi. Umarım iyice saçmalamaz ve sonu gelmeyen bir seriye dönmez....

In its second season, 'Fallout' suffers from being overly ambitious, incorporating up to five distinct subplots (with a lot of exposition in between), taking considerable time away from the main story, which already has to endure flashbacks that often feel like interruptions. The dark comedy, action, and fan service don't disappoint, but with only eight episodes, it feels like a lot happens, but only a few things actually make the narrative go forward.

The show is massively overhyped. This season’s storyline felt extremely scattered, with many scenes and set pieces coming across as unnecessary and dragged out. The writing felt derivative, and at no point was I intrigued or even curious about what would happen next. At its best, it felt like what would be considered generic Hollywood slop 10 years ago. The costume design was also horrendous. Everything looked plastic and cheap. It often felt comparable to cosplay quality, somehow produced with the budget of a small nation. It works as background noise while scrolling on your phone, but not much more than that. I felt hugely disappointed considering all the hype surrounding it.

It's so soft edged and weak in terms of peril and intrigue... It doesn't want to dive into anything seriously and the result is bland watch.
