Amy Schumer: Emergency Contact

Emergency Contact is a laidback set. It doesn’t have an agenda; it doesn’t try to attract you or project an expansive vision. It’s a short and sweet comedy show to put on if you liked the previous one. But if you’re tuning in expecting Schumer’s magnum opus, you might be disappointed.

Of her three specials on Netflix, I’d still point you toward her middle hour, 2019’s Growing, instead of this. But if you have been missing some Amy Schumer in your comedy diet, by all means STREAM IT.
