1992 isn’t reinventing the wheel when it comes to thriller series. But it’s just audacious enough, especially with its use of a cartoon rooster mascot, to make it watchable.

The first problem of 1992 is that the series doesn't seem to understand basic concepts of storytelling. The fact that there's a murder investigation happening doesn't automatically make a story compelling, but the show seems to think so.
