Wind Chill is very much Blunt's show - there are no other major characters save Holmes - and she even gets to climb a telephone pole in her Prada heels. Brava!

A very fine film well directed with brilliant eerie atmospheres (try to imagine yourself there, in the stead of the characters) and beautiful sceneries (when it's **** story makes pretty much sense and iin a certain way, is a great reminder of what humility and kindness should be about (or am i too twisted for this world to have taken this kind of **** least you can see the moral of the story... not "don't know what you've got till it's gone"....with the wind

The movie wasn't really that bad... or good for that matter. It starts out very slow making you hate the girl because she is a complete **** The guy is a creeper to say the least. Then the movie starts to pick up when they wreck there car and strange people and things start showing up. Then the movie just falls apart again as it ends. Overall the movie isn't anything special but it is an interesting watch and kind of fun to guess how it's going end. Watch this if you can borrow it from somebody or only spend a couple bucks otherwise pass.

But well before day breaks, it's the movie’s plot (which would have made for an outstanding Outer Limits episode) that has come to seem stuck in an endless loop.

I think the most exhausting thing about this premise, even for the year it was released, is that it needs so much from you as a viewer to not be drained by the bad decisions and poor excuses the characters articulate as to why they're in the situation they're in, and I can let that slide at times, but with performances this bad - yes, even Emily Blunt - the truth is that Wind Chill doesn't elicit any chills that feel at all genuine.

C'est un petit nanar de derrière les **** mais on y jette volontiers un oeil avant de le balancer au feu vu qu'il y a Emily jolie dedans ! on est en fait agréablement surpris pendant presque la moitié je crois même si ça commence à pédaler dans la semoule... à se demander quand est-ce que le film ou ce prétendu thriller va entrer vraiment dans le vif du sujet...! Hélas, il recule encore avant de mieux sauter dans le nanar pur jus et l'écriture du stagiaire qui a boulotté le scénar à la dernière minute (dans le bus vraisemblablement) nous saute alors aux yeux et au visage. Oui, ça tourne tout-à-coup à l'ésotérisme de pacotille et au mauvais épisode d'X-Files désordonné et foireux, puis ça s'enlise comme ça jusqu'au bout... C'est dommage, car on avait des doutes sur le petit con ou on se demandait quand est-ce qu'ils allaient se retrouver dans une cabane de dégénérés, bien ficelés et attendant -pas sagement- d'être préparés pour le dîner... mais je confonds avec un autre film, je crois ! Emily est extra en tout cas (déjà !).

Only Emily Blunt saves this mediocre ghost story from being a total disaster (She manages to elevate it to be simply bad). Put together you usual ghost story cliches, add some rather weak acting, a puny villain, nonsense plot and you will have Wind Chill.
