There's a smart, funny, observant comedy-drama to be made about the role our romantic pasts play in determining our futures, but director Mark Mylod and screenwriters Jennifer Crittenden and Gabrielle Allan are less interested in making that movie than in cycling Faris through a series of non-starting encounters with one-note-joke ex-flings.

is a very good movie that has increased my desire to be a great actor like Chris Evans. Anna Faris has excelled in this film she was fantastic and very beautiful, the story is very innovative even if the end is very predictable. however this did not prevent the ofilme has been great

The thin premise here seems better suited to a sitcom episode than a full-length feature. That's not surprising given that director Mark Mylod's résumé includes British TV comedies and "Entourage" episodes.

Watching Faris's reactions to the bizarre material that makes up this film is like witnessing someone with a weird sense of humor make a string of jokes that no one's even catching.

Wow, I can't believe the negativity around this movie, it is an Anna Faris movie, it is supposed to be quirky funny and fluffy! I thought it was just right for those times when you just want to watch something without having to think, imagine if there were only "serious thought provoking" movies? It never claimed to be anything than what it was,.

Very light movie. Plot runs on a little long, however I was entertained for the full 2 hours. The inappropriate flashbacks were rather entertaining. I also liked that the cast was fresh, which made the move seem like less of the rinse and repeat formula.

It's far less superior than recent comedies, but What's Your Number's formula is saved by Anna Faris' glaring charisma, making this a mildly enjoyable piece of cliche entertainment.

It's just another boring romcom about an unintelligent and man obsessed woman. But it did give me some good laughs along the way and Chris Evans is always a joy to watch on screen.

Am I too conservative to think that, albeit one may been unlucky in love and had a few partners on the way, 20 lovers is not something to jump up and down with joy for? Regardless of the moral dilemma, the jokes are not particularly funny and if it was not the only thing playing on the plane, I would not chose to watch it.
