SummaryGarrrrr! Working at The Pirate Times Dinner Theater is less than exciting when you're a busboy. For three moping misfits-- Elliot, Sedgewick and George (Larry the Cucumber, Mr. Lunt and Pa Grape)-all they dream of is the day when they can ditch their dishrags and take stage to star in the big pirate show. But with Elliot's timidity, Sedgewick's ... Read More

When I first watched this film, it made up for my disappointment when The Bob and Larry Movie was cancelled. It serves as a perfect spin-off focusing on the tritagonists of Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie.

Crazy its what gets its humor but it is so adorable and touching that it is too much too resist. Its animation is so low budget it gives it an extra charm. I give this 91% **** movie.

Washington Post
Clever enough to keep adults entertained, even if the story is something of an antique.

The Globe and Mail (Toronto)
Except for one memorable interlude, the film just doesn't have near enough fun blasting spitballs at "Pirates of the Caribbean."
50
The New York Times
It’s a boilerplate plot like one you might find in any morning cartoon.

Austin Chronicle
Yo-ho-ho and a bottle of … V8? That’s what you get when you cross VeggieTales characters with a pirate yarn.

Village Voice
Humorless, incoherent, and ugly as sin, this Christian-friendly production is as tragic as the candle wax that resembles a glob of man jam and opens Pa Grape's eyes to the meaning of his adventure.

My childhood nostalgia screams out loud in this film!! Well honestly,... it has very-very mediocre narrative, predictable script. and might be too childish... but still, it's the treasured memory of my childhood
