Monsters, Inc.

It's unfailingly lively entertainment that doesn't stint on (earned) feeling. Ideas about fear of the unknown, industrial corruption, and the splendours of polymorphity are all taken in stride. The balance tilts towards action and gags, and does them gloriously.

A terrific piece of work: smart, inventive and executed with state-of-the-art finesse.

Movies like Monsters, Inc. literally make you feel like a kid again, marveling at the joyously inventive sights before you, and that's a feat that should not be taken lightly.

Much more kid-oriented than any other computer-animated movie thus far. In other words, it's much more Disneyish. I enjoyed it.

Funny and sweet enough to delight kids and inventive enough to satisfy adults.

It's a nice movie. But Disney has never learned that "nice," especially in comedy, is a negative virtue.

But Monsters, Inc. -- directed by Pixar soldier Pete Docter, not by master digital comic John Lasseter -- turns out to be stingy on context, commentary, and the prism-ing view of pop culture that made the earlier films mint.

One of the best movies ever made, Monsters Inc still watchable today & just as enjoyable as the first time.

Monstros S.A. é um clássico absoluto. O filme tem um roteiro excelente, personagens inesquecíveis, animação inovadora e uma história que mistura humor e emoção na medida certa. Além disso, traz uma mensagem poderosa e um final que emociona mesmo depois de várias **** dúvida, merece 100/100 – Obra-prima. Um dos melhores filmes já feitos pela Pixar e um marco na animação.

Sully and Boo's relationship has some spark, but the supporting characters are unlikable (especially Mike) and the plot is just weak. One of my least favorite Pixar movies.
