A imersão, tecnicamente falando, até funciona (exceto nas cenas de ação, que estão péssimas), mas não salva o filme de ser uma grande bomba. Isto porque, o roteiro carece de uma identidade, não se sabe ao certo o que quiseram abordar aqui, se uma ameaça robótica, ambiental, humanitária, além de passear por questões éticas e emular o velho conflito de vilões maniqueístas que procuram controlar tudo e todos, mesmo passando por cima de pessoas (e máquinas). Mas o filme em sua maior parte vai adotando um tom discursivo extremamente irritante, que faz tudo ficar arrastado e chato. Para piorar, quando resolve acelerar, não é nada funcional, sem acrescentar, só causando aborrecimento a quem assiste. Pelo menos é possível vislumbrar um outro mundo mais distópico, por mais que a vontade, ao final, é ir embora dali.

Good movie

(Mauro Lanari) Spectacular despite the double drudgery of enduring the neofeminism of gynoids and of dodging the clones of "Blade Runner", "Terminator", "RoboCop", "Ghost in the Shell", "I, Robot", "Westworld" and probably something else that I don't remember now. Philosophical sci-fi that, like the aforementioned TV series, doesn't know how to end and where to go. The problem is not in the lack of creativity of the screenplay, but in the fact that philosophy itself hasn't moved forward on the subject. So let's re-chew **** and cyberpunk as if we're still anchored in the 80s.

Flat with absolutely zero pathos, looks cheap, and the story makes absolutely no sense, it's like a teenagers first screenplay. A hero with no depth or reason, a generic scifi setting, it feels like someone cut together a bunch of cutscenes from a middling action rpg. World class mugging and slapstick performances clash with soap opera emoting.

SPOILER!!! The Movie doesn't make any sense! Later in the movie, she doesn't have this Kind of body and act like she is a robot, but before she had trouble breathing. A movie where the main focus is a Robot shouldn't be so inconsistent with the main plot. The Visual effects aren't inconsistent as well.

Un film qui pose (et se pose) les bonnes questions sur la cybernétisation, plus ou moins involontaire… en temps de conflit et/ou pour la science… ainsi qu’éventuellement pour future commercialisation et monétisation ! car les dérives peuvent être nombreuses quand on utilise votre cervelle pour développer à la base une IA militaire (!)… L’actrice principale remarquée notamment (par chez nous en tout cas) dans la série (très bizarre !) ‘Hellbound’ s’avère brillante ; les effets spéciaux sont de bonne facture (pour un film Netflisque s’entend) et globalement, on ne s’ennuie point du tout ici. Contrairement à ce que laisse entendre la bande-annonce, il ne s’agit pas d’un film d’action (à ce propos, l’action est trop souvent très mal montée, mal cadrée et confuse) mais plutôt d’un film à légers complots… rien de compliqué mais dans l’ensemble, on a vraiment du mal à croire à tout ce merdier ! Les rebondissements s’enchaînent avec plus ou moins de conviction alors que par ailleurs, de façon plus ou moins récurrente, le jeu de quelques comédiens secondaires est à la limite d’un Vidéogag ! (le ‘directeur’ par exemple, franchement !)... La fin est bien entendu trop prévisible… mais pas si mal faite ; pour autant, on reste sur une impression trop mitigée pour ce film nettement ‘moyen-moins’.
