TV's ''I Spy'' knew how to swing. The movie 'I Spy knows only how to scramble and string together moments of Murphy braggadocio and Wilson stoner-ocity, and the sweat shows.

The real problem with the new film, however, is a certain lack of chemistry between the leads; Wilson is game, as always, but his part is seriously underwritten, and while Murphy raises trash talking to the level of a fine art, he seems to be operating in another movie altogether.

I must have seen this movie at least a dozen times. I don't understand why the critics gave it such a low rating - I would recommend this movie to anyone!

I Spy ist eine Actionkomödie mit Eddie Murphy und Owen Wilson. Eddie Murphy spielt einen arroganten Boxer Namens Kelly Robinson der den Agenten Alex Scott gespielt von Owen Wilson zur hilfe eilt. Auf einer Party in Budapest muss der Boxer Kelly Robinson den Agenten Alex Scott reibringen, um den Kauf eines unsichtbaren Flugzeugs zu verhindern.
Eddie Murphy spielt wie immer einen Mann mit großer Klappe und vielen Sprüchen. Owen Wilson spielt den ruhigeren Part und ist in eine Kollegin verliebt. Solche Art von Filmen gibt es genug und dieser hier und solide und man kann in sich an schauen. Wenn man Eddie Murphy mag kann man den gucken. Es gibt einige richtig witzige Stellen. Die witzigste Stelle ist die Sexszene bzw die Anmachszene. Es macht sich sehr gut über Agentenfilme und Plots lustig. 7/10
