Hungry

Starring a fun prosthetic creature, Hungry is not here for a long time or a good time. Hippos, you had your chance and you blew it. Bring on the violent vole movies.

The film’s strongest suit, apart from the scary hippo itself, is the mechanics of rescue and beast evasion, with our girl Sistine’s gymnast training coming in handy, as does the fireman’s knowledge of pulleys and levers. But none of that cancels out the essential silliness of the premise.
