All you need to do is open your mind to its wonders and you may too discover something about yourself along the way.

While Duplass, of course, adds plenty as the primary source of levity, Brown emerges as the standout. This is an actor who can apparently do anything.

Film Threat
While this funny and humorous study of a post-apocalyptic change excels in exploring some of its more philosophical traits, the substance regarding its core story is not quite there. Yet, this deserves a watch for its comedic rendering of the complex storyline.

It’s still not bad, and its pacing works surprisingly well given its paucity of plot. Fans of the actors, or of low-key, high-concept sci-fi, should be pleasantly surprised. For others, mere surprise may be all that awaits.

All the elements are there — writing, performance, themes — but there’s not enough plot to sustain a nearly two-hour feature, and as the situation escalates, it becomes clear that they don’t quite know where or how to end things, and it lands with a thud.

Austin Chronicle
Written by Mark Duplass and first-time feature director and veteran producer Mel Eslyn (Tony Hawk: Until the Wheels Fall Off, The One I Love), there's no doubt that Biosphere is filled with ideas, and they're given easy life by Brown and Duplass.

This film never had any business being stretched into a feature, much less one running 106 minutes. At that length, Biosphere is soporific and repetitive and puts viewers in the position of always being two steps ahead of it.

I liked the movie. It spoke about the struggles men face these days. I don't like the name because I just HATE whenenever someone puts the letter "o" after the letter "i" in any circumstance, because "io" just sounds cringe to me and sctaraches my ears, (so its bad im ABOVE AVERAGE INTELLIGNENCE SO U MUST LISTEN TO ME U CRAPHEAD!!!@ WHAT IM SAYING IS OBJECTIVEEEE) so I eliminated one point. It didn't have enough **** material but the political message redeemed it. 9/10.
