Bionic is another sci-fi dud for Netflix, bringing nothing new to the genre and not much more to its action sequences.

Shrug off the low-stakes involved, try not to notice its too-easy-to-guess “twist” and forget any notion of the moral ambiguity that might have been what this picture is about. It’s slick, but just too dumb to get into.

Temos uma excelente ideia aqui sobre seres humanos deficientes que ganham "superpoderes" com o desenvolvimento de próteses cada vez mais modernas, oq ue é sentido de forma vital no mundo dos esportes. Mas todo o desenvolvimento da trama é aquele padrão típico da Netflix: resoluções fáceis e convenientes, roteiro que você precisa desligar o cérebro para acreditar, muitas e muitas facilidades. A ação não convence muito, mas a parte técnica ao menos está bem caprichada, com muitos elementos cenográficos interessantes. Uma pena ter o padrão enlatado, com vilões quase unilaterais. Dava pra ser um filme bem melhor.
