What Happened - Through Worlds

Clunky controls. This game is like Adverse except with different backgrounds and game assets, as well as a story. And that’s it.

Very middle of the road. The controls are incredibly clunky and most of the puzzles in the game are platforming puzzles, so it is very frustrating to battle the controls. I also ran into a few soft-locks where I would get stuck between a ledge and a bridge and would have to reset the stage to fix it. The bird also forces you into dialogue which is fine once, but if you die and spawn back next to him, you are automatically forced into dialogue again. This is so bad in difficult areas where you keep dying, and the crow has SO MUCH DIALOGUE that you have to click through every single time you die. The story is an interesting premise. It is written with a lot of repetitive flowery language and can get annoying / feel forced. The visuals in the game are appealing and it was an interesting concept for a cheap game.
