Train Sim World 7 is leaps and bounds ahead of its competitors. Although it feels familiar and there are a few minor issues, I loved it. The traction is fantastic and I love the routes. Moreover, it is hyper realistic. A great game for lovers of trains and sim games.

An excellent new beginners control scheme, plus quality of life improvements and real-time weather effects makes Train Sim World 7 the most accessible and enjoyable entry yet.

Train Sim World 7 requires patience to push through slow tutorials, a steep learning curve, and the lack of Portuguese localization. However, it makes up for these flaws with a satisfying tactile feel in the cabs, gorgeous scenery, and a solid variety of modes. For railway enthusiasts or players seeking a relaxing change of pace, it delivers exactly what it promises.

Train Sim World 7 offers a couple of modest features to entice players of previous games. But ultimately, it will be the upcoming TSW7 exclusive DLC that will be the main draw. The DLC remains as pricey as ever, making it hard to recommend to anyone but hardcore train enthusiasts.
