The last episode is a bit disappointing, but that doesn’t change the fact that The Wolf Among Us is a very solid adventure game, head and shoulders above most of other representatives of the genre published in recent years. [Sept 2014, p.62]

A grim, tight, wonderful story of prostitution, loan-sharking and power plays. [Issue#254, p.59]

An at times confronting, well spun mystery and fascinating setting. [Oct 2014, p.63]

Es de los mejores juegos de decisiones que jugué, la historia es buena y atrapante, los personajes están buenos, artísticamente es muy lindo y mientras pasan los capítulos te va enganchando más. Lo único que puedo criticar es el final pero lo demás está bastante bien.

i know it's been more than a decade, but this is a very poor experience on pc. no borderless windowed, it changes all my color settings so i have to reset my monitor, no option to toggle pausing on loss of focus, pretty difficult to play with 2 monitors. the quick time events are cool, but the button mashing is excessive within the first scene of the game, and there are basically no settings to remove this or reduce the difficulty like in dispatch. again, i know dispatch is a much newer game, but the wolf among us has dreadfully poor accessibility and qol options. ive played plenty of games that require mashing, but after being expected to mash the Q key at lightning speed for what felt like an hour in the first scene, i decided this game has aged too poorly in a technical sense to be enjoyable. maybe the story is really good, but it would not take that much work to have more than 2 options under gameplay settings, or for the game to have a tiny patch that just makes it friendly for people with multiple screens. i guess i will just try the newer telltale titles. my experience with the game was close to a 3/10, but im giving it a 5 because im sure there is good content that i havent seen yet

The game is even better than the Bill Willingham's original graphic novel series. The Wolf Among Us is a showcase of first class storytelling. [Aug 2014]

A fantastic, morally ambiguous detective tale that sometimes struggles to make its interactivity meaningful and fun.

The Wolf Among Us really pulled me in from the start. I loved the gritty atmosphere and the way it mixed fairy tale characters with a dark, detective story. Playing as Bigby Wolf felt intense—every choice I made actually mattered and had real consequences. The art style was amazing, and the voice acting brought everything to life. Honestly, it’s one of those games that stays with you. If you like strong stories, you should definitely try it.

Great first season with great characters and coherent story. More interactive story than game though.

The Wolf Among Us is yet another good game from Telltale Games. One major flaw is dismissing some characters - that's the reason the first season of The Walking Dead is and will be a better offering. Everything else - from the atmosphere to the storyline - is really good. Apparently Lee and Clementine's adventure wasn't a one-time high quality offer. I can recommend this game with a clear conscience.

I think I feel for The Wolf Among Us what most people feel about The Walking Dead‘s first season, insofar as I can forgive it pretty much every fault it has because of the way it perfectly blends characters, setting, atmosphere, and plot.

While the Walking Dead demonstrated the potency of interactive fiction, there are times here where Telltale struggles to dispel a disquieting notion: that The Wolf Among Us doesn’t necessarily benefit from the player’s involvement.

Best telltale games after twdg. What a masterpiece and can't wait for the sequel. Bigby is such an amazing character and his development is good and can be great if they do it right in the sequel. The plot twists in this game are so great and unexpected too

I don't love the telltale games, in large part due to fact that the choices you make almost never matter and most scenes are ironically (and someties stupidly) excactly the same. However in this one I found it much more bearable, maybe because the story was actually quite good and the way it unravels kind of justifies the player's choices not being so impactful. I also loved all the characters and the general tone/atmosphere of the game. In the end, the game is solid and it was overall a good and relaxed experience

Хороший сюжет, интересные персонажи, необычный сеттинг, надоедливые QTE элементы, довольно мрачная атмосфера, рисовка - на любителя.

By far one of the worst, most boring games i've ever played. Characters are painfully boring and stupid. Dialogues are even worse - made me angry most of the play time. Action scenes are mostly redundant with no real action involved. You can collect a few items but without any real point - you can't use them and they don't make any difference in the story. They'd be better off making a movie - the graphics are the first advantage. The episodes are very short - an hour of gameplay - thats the other advantage At the end of the 5th episode the only choice i regret is playing this game. I'd be better off staring at the black screen. If someone offered me to jump down the witching well or to replay the game - I'd be jumping before they could finish the sentence.
