Constantly surprising, always delightful, never less than utterly stunning, this journey through the looking glass into a new and perfectly formed world is escapism of the very highest order.
De mis juegos favoritos, sin duda el tema de tener solo 3 dias para salvar el mundo es un reto desafiante. La jugabilidad prácticamente igual a ocarina of time corrigiendo ciertos defectos de su predecesor
Recomendable!
OVERVIEW: The Legend Of Zelda: Majora's Mask is yet another exceptional addition to the "Legend Of Zelda" Franchise. The game contains great dungeons, incredibly memorable characters and the best side quests the series has ever had, and likely ever will. The game expands upon what made Ocarina Of Time so great, and adds it's own dark twist to it. GAMEPLAY: 10/10 - Majora's Mask has some of the best dungeons in the series, as well as very interesting and fun mechanics added by the various masks and other items you obtain throughout the game. The bosses are all very unique and don't feel like the typical Zelda Boss with an obvious weakness. All of the gameplay elements work together incredibly well and creates one of the best gaming experiences you can have. STORY: 10/10 - The main story of Majora's Mask has some incredibly dark beats that stick out from your average Zelda game. The story is compelling and has much clearer stakes than usual. In addition, this game has by far the best "side stories" out of any Zelda game and arguably any game ever. SOUNDTRACK: 10/10 - This game is where some of the series most iconic pieces of music originated, such as "Song Of Healing", "Clock Town - Day 1" and "Astral Observatory". These songs are so good that they have found places online in things unrelated to Zelda such as "Creepypastas". In addition, all of the returning music is incredible as always, and is used in ways that heightens it above it's original purpose. For example, The Song Of Time from Ocarina Of Time serves a much greater purpose in this game than in Ocarina Of Time, and to most people makes the song more linked to this game than it's original debut. CHARACTERS: 10/10 - As stated before, the side quests in this game are incredibly strong, which in turn allows all of the characters to be a lot more memorable and fleshed out. Using the bomber's notebook in game allows you to keep track of all of the side quests you have completed and people you have helped, and is a very nice way to make you feel like a citizen of the town helping out everyone. Some standout characters include: Romani, Anju, Kafei, Cremia and Lulu. GRAPHICS/VISUALS: 8.5/10 - Majora's Mask visually looked good at the time, and it still holds up well but not quite as well as some of the other Zelda games like Wind Waker. The stylistic choices in the game redeem all of this though, and the game is still incredibly nice to play despite the small amount of visual flaws. CUTSCENES: 9/10 - Cutscenes in this game are very memorable, with both dark moments and just nice moments with the people living in Clock Town. The only critique I can possibly think of is that the cutscenes aren't quite as cinematic as future Zelda games such as Twilight Princess and Breath Of The Wild. This shouldn't really be held against it considering the difference in times these games were made, but it still could impact your experience slightly. Overall, Majora's Mask is an incredible addition to the Zelda Franchise and is easily a contender for the best game in the franchise. If you like darker stories, this is certainly the game for you, and even if you don't there's plenty of fun to be had with this game.
Where Majora rises to the top is its concept – three days to save the world. The execution of the idea is flawless: time means everything and the player always has to be aware. The save system is absolutely perfect, letting players feel comfortable in controlling time but still keeping them on the edge of their seats when things get hairy.
The change in mood and the incredible new story are enough to rope anybody in for the easy thirty or more hours it will take to complete this worthy sequel.
It's easily the best game I've played so far this year on the N64 (although Banjo-Tooie might be a strong contender) and will remain one of my favorite games for a long time to come.
even though I had more fun playing through Ocarina of Time, overall, Majora's Mask is just as impressive technically and possibly even more rewarding to play because of Link's newfound abilities with each of the masks he acquires.
One of the greatest sequel to a video game. Majora's mask able to maintain the quality from Ocarina of time while also giving the player fresh experience in exploring the parallel world of termina. The time mechanic in this game also very interesting and major breakthrough for a 90s game.
IDK why. I have heard that this game is the best in the series and was really excited for it. I have played it on the N64, 3DS, and Switch all of which I thought were underwhelming. I don't really like the whole day cycle thing and find it limiting. The only reason I rated it this high is because I've heard others praise it and so I don't get death threats.
Visually this is a great looking game, but overall I find it extremely frustrating and not like any of the other Zelda games I've played. Lots of mini games that I find to be kind of pointless, and timed tasks that are really frustrating. ...yeah, I found this to be a huge disappointment, and annoyed that this got such great reviews as it led me to purchase it. :(
