Very good Nintendo DS game. One of my favorites and highly recommend to anyone who like classic gameplay, awesome soundtrack, wifi, multiplayer, briliant score system, and aliens.

If you’re looking for something to cure boredom on long car rides, wanting something to cure that nostalgia itch, or simply are looking for a great game for cheap than look no further than Space Invaders Extreme 2.

Fans of the original should definitely pick this up, and newcomers, if trying to choose, should definitely select Extreme 2 for all the extra polish.

Space Invaders Extreme 2 uses the dual screen in the right way, improving the already excellent gameplay that characterized the first episode of the series. The game is immediate and engaging, with a good balance of difficulty and an awesome mix of graphics and sound.

Extreme 2, though, offers little to differentiate itself. It's a coincidental callback to 1979's Space Invaders Part II: most of the improvements will matter to those who were already obsessed. For some, that's probably enough for a buy, and if you haven't played SI Extreme before, now's the time, as you're still getting an enjoyable rewrite of an arcade classic. But those who had a passing fancy before can pass it up for the time being.
