Rough Justice 84 contains loads of 80s retro vibes at least in graphics and score. Altough the gameplay is quite simple and seems slightly repetitive in the long run, it offers a lot of good and innovative approaches, of which one would like to see more. It is to be hoped that the courageous overall concept will be expanded in the future - even with a different setting.

Rough Justice ‘84 has a very good core idea and impresses in terms of atmosphere. The music, the character portraits, and the design of the cases, all work together to immerse players and keep their interest level up. I would love to see a TV series that uses some of the featured agents. Unfortunately, the gameplay mechanics let the rest of the experience down. The elements that are centered on dice, clever use of energy, and good choice of items can be fun, even if they become repetitive. The mini-games are the big problem. Rough Justice ‘84 is worth trying out as long as you love the boardgame-inspired action and the setting but I hope incoming updates improve gameplay.

Ex-cop Hank has to work for a living. Since he can't turn back to being a cop, he has to use his skills in another field. Private detective seems to be the right profession for him.

Very stylish time management / mini game hybrid with a splendid 80's atmosphere including a great soundtrack and retro visuals. The board game gameplay makes a very chillout experience but you get a cool story on top. Recommended for fans of the 80's and relaxing board games!

Rough Justice: '84 is a beautiful game with a nostalgic feel of '80s crime TV series, and with its variety of mini-games and intriguing storyline, putting your fate in the hands of dice never gets boring.

This game has a very nostalgic and slick 80s feel to it. I love the synthwave soundtrack and look to the game. You have the management system in place as you control the tasks that are completed by your hired agents, you have the puzzle elements that you solve as you choose a different case worker to work for and then you have the board game element with the dice rolling. RNG runs this game and you can add to the dice being rolled with gear that helps you to stand a better chance of succeeding. I played the demo of this and enjoyed it then, I have since played the full release and the storyline is interesting and the gameplay is incredibly user friendly with the tutorials to hand. I recommend this if you enjoy 80s nostalgia, time management, dice rolling and the hopes that this will also be developed into a board game.

If you like boardgames and the 80s- you're in the right place! Rough Justice: '84 has a very chill gameplay loop which is intensified over time. Its a neat game that you can sink many hours into, with a good story as well. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Was happily surprised by this game having not played time management game of this style in quite a while. Firstly, love that 80s style and the music is great! The interface is very intuitive, the game offers a lot of diversity in the tasks you ended doing with the various agents. One thing I didn't know until a at least an hour in was the ability to stop the time, so much easier then as I thought the game was too frantic otherwise at time. On the negatives I would say that you can sometimes run into a bad run of luck on the roll of dice but that's just me and my bad luck :/ So far enjoying it very much and it's a thumbs up from me!
