Ray Gigant
The dungeons are undoubtedly bland and, by genre standards, there is no getting around the fact that, Ray Gigant is relatively easy, but if you’re looking for a more story driven adventure, one with great characters and fantastic production values, you won’t go far wrong with, Experience Inc.’s unique and largely successful coming together of visual novel and dungeon crawler.
Of course, this leads back to the game's main problem, which is that building up your characters inherently means letting them live to see another dialogue sequence or cutscene — and the more you see of them in those sequences and cutscenes, the less you'll want to let them live. It's a dilemma with no real solution…apart from the obvious one, of not playing Ray Gigant unless you have a strong appetite for generic characters and you don't mind if their combat isn't that interesting, either.
Ray Gigant is one of the most interesting games we've played on Vita lately. Long, addictive, with a nice story and that can be interesting even for those who are not interested in dungeon crawlers.

Quite possibly the most sloppily translated game I've ever played. But a fun enough one at that. A dungeon crawler that incorporates some rhythm-based mini games into its ultimate attacks, and a universal pool for both resource-based progression and combat actions. A pretty standard RPG overall, but I think devs could learn a few things from the chances this one takes.

Ray Gigant is an awesome game that features a good story, great set of characters, and an addictive turn based battle system. Its basically a visual novel mixed with JRPG elements. So, if you're a fan of visual novels, JRPGs, or both, I suggest you try this game out.

This is a breathlessly creative and fundamentally interesting game, and it, along with Stranger of Sword City, cements the developer as one of my favourites out there at the moment.

Despite the lackluster dungeon designs and rather pedestrian difficulty, the gorgeous art style and a greater emphasis on its story and characters makes Ray Gigant stand out amongst its peers.

Ray Gigant is an interesting mesh of dungeon crawling and visual novel elements. The combat is unique and the presentation is great for the genre, but the repetitive nature, lack of challenge, and disappointing conclusion prevent the game from reaching excellence.

Ray Gigant takes some risks in game design to create a unique JRPG experience. Some of these are executed better than others, but the overall game is solid.

It's not quite up there with the best that the Vita has to offer, but a good battle system and an enjoyable story go a long way in making this a rock solid role-playing release.

This game is not the best JRPG on the market, but it is a pretty good game. But it suffers from a lack of challenge and repetitive game play. But the graphics and story is great. I love the two dimensional art style, and the character animations. And this game has enough combat to keep you entertained for a while. This game has good potential and I suggest you give it a try.
