Planet of Lana é o resultado de muito amor. Após zerar o jogo descobri que o compositor das músicas é Takeshi Furukawa, compositor da trilha sonora de The Last Guardian, que se dispôs a fazer a trilha após ficar sabendo do potencial do jogo. Por isso a trilha sonora é maravilhosa, o que complementa perfeitamente a beleza visual do jogo. A história parte daquele princípio de civilizações antigas e avançadas que particularmente já me cansaram, em jogos como Abzu, Inner Space e AER, mas me surpreendi com o caminho tomado e adorei no final. A história, assim como os puzzles, são bem simples, mas servem de ambiente para envolver o jogador na atmosfera entorpecente do jogo. Planet of Lana é lindo em todos os sentidos e cada parte dele foi feita com muito carinho e cuidado.

Limbo, Inside ve Little Nightmares gibi oyunları oynadıysanız ve beğendiyseniz bu oyunu da beğenebilirsiniz. Oyunun başındaki bulmaca ve platform ögeleri baya basit. Bir raddeden sonra hep aynı şeyleri yapıyormuşsunuz hissini veriyor ve bu sıkıyor. Ama sonrasında birazda olsa oyun açılıyor. Başta bahsettiğim oyunlar kadar kaliteli değil. Sonu güzel bitiyor. Oyunun sonu oyunun iyi bir oyun olmasını sağlayan ana nedenlerden biri.

Planet of Lana est une petite merveille d’émotion et de beauté. Ce jeu de plateforme cinématographique séduit dès les premières minutes par sa direction artistique sublime, ses paysages peints à la main et sa bande-son envoûtante signée Takeshi Furukawa.Lana, accompagnée de son compagnon Mui, embarque dans une aventure silencieuse mais chargée de sens, mêlant exploration, énigmes environnementales intelligentes et moments de tension parfaitement dosés. Le gameplay reste simple, mais jamais monotone grâce à un rythme bien équilibré entre contemplation et **** pourrait lui reprocher une certaine linéarité ou une durée de vie assez courte, mais ce serait passer à côté de l’essentiel : Planet of Lana est une expérience touchante, pleine d’âme, qui rappelle des œuvres comme Inside ou Ori, tout en affirmant sa propre **** petit bijou indépendant à ne pas manquer.

The game has an interesting world that makes you want to explore it, but that's the only interesting thing it has to offer. The logic puzzles are trivial, the controls are clunky, and the gameplay itself is boring and unchallenging. 80% of the time, you just hold the analog stick to the right and wait for the moment to press the jump button or guide a little creature to drop a rope for you. After an hour, I got bored, watched the rest of the gameplay on YouTube at 2x speed, and still found it dull, skipping through the slow parts.

7 - Very Good.
Unique art style, fun clever puzzles that are solvable without having to look anything up which is very refreshing these days.. heart warming story, you get a cool companion who you feel lonely without, attachment to story & characters. Could have been longer & sometimes the controls felt iffy. Overall recommend for puzzle & platform lovers.

I enjoyed the game while it lasted, though, unfortunately, that wasn’t very long.
The game is undeniably cute, but it’s so brief that there’s barely enough time to get fully immersed. The gameplay is fun, not overly challenging, which is a nice touch.
But let’s talk about the story… it’s hard to take seriously with all the innuendos. Planet of "Lana" backward? Really? And with that, the spaceship design ?! (you know, the one written with clay in the lore). Maybe my mind’s in the gutter, but it looks suspiciously like a certain… accessory. Nobody noticed that? And of course, the robots with tentacles abducting humans..yeah, okay, we see where this is going.
The story’s credibility is a bit of a stretch; a kid taking on such a challenge ? Come on lol.
That said, it’s not a bad game by any means. I just wish the story had a bit more depth. Uhuh

In general this game has a nice and beautiful backgrounds, with very detailed and alive environment. The soundtrack plays at the right time, making the experience more immersive. On the other hand, the mechanics are pretty simple, you can just walk, run and move some items. One interesting element is the ability to work together with the little cute puppet, you have to be precise about the decisions you make in order to solve the puzzle in front of you, because it's not about how can solve it, but rather about how well you can work together with your puppet to overcome the puzzle as a **** the beginning, these elements make for an enjoyable experience, but over time It gets boring and stressful. On one side, you're always doing the same thing , the puzzles are very similar and you don't feel satisfied when you solve them, it feels tedious; in order to solve the puzzle you have to go through a lot of steps, just to solve a small part of it. On the other hand, the puppet becomes an extra weight that you have to carry thought out your journey. I don't know if that was the idea of the developers, but i didn't like it . The main problem is always about the puppet, so there is no any satisfaction in that kind of puzzle-solving.I wouldn't recommend it as a game programmer who loves to experience game mechanics that give you some satisfaction when you interact with them or maybe when you overcame a puzzle. The core elements of the game were beautiful, it's more about how the lead designer mixed this elements in a bad way. I feel that they could have been combined in a better way.

Apart from some reviews I didn't really know what to expect. In the beginning it felt 'simple', however when the game progresses the story unfolts and you meet a special companion. Together you solve puzzels which makes this game kind of unique. If you played games like Limbo and Inside it might feel familiar. Planet of Lana is easier, the puzzles are less complex and you die less if you know how the enemy behaves. Nevertheless I did enjoy the game and the story was good enough to keep me hooked.

The puzzles themselves were very simple which is a positive for me. And as a cat lover, I couldn't help but love the cat-like companion. The intense scenes were so calm compaired to other games.

This reminded me of games like Limbo and Inside, although the puzzles on average seemed a little easier - either that, or playing Limbo and Inside just prepared me for the kind of puzzles. I streamed this, so my nearly 8 hours of playing it is probably a bit longer than the average player might take. Normally I would say that is a bit short for a €20 game, but the quality of the game is so high that I see no big issue with the price - it does mean that I did subtract one point from my score though. Had it been a €10 to €15 game it would easily have been a 9 for me.

A totally uninspired Limbo/Inside type puzzle game. No innovation or gimmick that makes this one stand out from rest of these types of games. Story is fairly run of the mill as well and does a poor job keeping you engaged.

Planet of Lana is a very good cinematic platformer, inspired by cult classics like Limbo and Inside. The visuals are also an homage to Hayao Miyazaki and the music by Takeshi Furukawa is beautiful. The level design is basic and the puzzles are quite easy, but overall I had a good time.

Planet of Lana is a hidden gem within the puzzle genre. The story is personal, mysterious and leaves room for your own interpretation. And it is precisely the interpretation that makes the story so interesting. There are several ways to explain the events Lana is facing. The art and sound design are top notch and make the game unique. Here and there the puzzles feel repetitive, but this will not hinder the experience the game gives you.

Wow. Massively overrated. Now considering this genre is right up my street, this just does not cut the ****. Presentation is quite nice, sound is OK, gameplay is just a bit boring. This type of game has been done way better in the past with Brothers, A Tale of Two Sons. Like a hell of a lot better. It doesn't even come close to Rime. It's not terrible but it is boring. It's a bit like going to a 32" TV after having a 50". It does the job but what's the point when there is already better. Although not the same type of puzzle game, I enjoyed My Brother Rabbit more than this. I'm just blown away with these reviews for something so average at best. If you have exhausted all other puzzle games and want another desperately, then by all means, get it. Otherwise, it's a really hard sell. Not a bad game, just a bit boring within its genre.

Just not very interesting. The puzzles are quite pedestrian and somewhat unforgiving, and the pacing of the game is extremely slow. Played about 30 minutes which felt like 30 hours, stopped and went to youtube and realized there was at least another 500 hours of gameplay left, so thankfully I stopped where I did. Try it out if you like very tedious and dull games but otherwise give this one a pass.

Game has beautiful design, and a cute story. Unfortunately, the gameplay lacks a lot of in terms of creativity and thus gets repetitive quite soon. When compared to similar games in the genre, Planet of Lana falls short in creative puzzles and diverse level design. For a game of this genre that is crucial to keep it fresh for the 3 hours average playthrough.

I just finished Planet of Lana and I enjoyed it. Obviously it was a rip off of Limbo and Inside, but I still thought it was good. Having a companion was a nice touch. The visuals and music were nice. The puzzles were all pretty simple but enjoyable. The story was bare bones, just trying to find your sister who was kidnapped by these alien robots. I played on PC with a controller and it took me around 4 hours to finish. I only got 2 out of 10 of the hidden shrines. I didn't feel like I was rushing, but I didn't notice where I missed them. It was a simple little game, but I'd still give it like 8/10 for what it was.

I highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys games in this genre, such as Inside, for example. Is it better than Inside? No, it is not. However, I still believe that the game is good overall. I loved the beautiful art style, and the puzzles were quite enjoyable. The game had a good atmosphere and a cute story. However, I gave it a 7/10 rating because, despite liking the first half of the game (visuals especially), the second half felt a bit unfinished and lacked impressive new mechanics. Additionally, the story felt rushed towards the end, with an abrupt conclusion.

Good but uneven game. Feels a bit incomplete with some of its potential not fully developed, but there are some fantastic moments and all in all it's a fun time, especially if you like games like Another World, Heart of Darkness, but even more Limbo etc.

Planet of Lana was fun. The story is basic and is made of clues more then anything spelled out. The graphics are absolutely gorgeous for this style. Good atmosphere and sounds are impressive. The puzzles are mostly fair. Some are a bit hard to understand after half the game. It last around 3-4 hours. I give it 80%.

Planet of Lana is so much fun to play. The hand painted visuals are beautiful and the music is a perfect fit. My daughter and I loved this game and the connection we made with Lana and Mui along the way. Definitely enjoy the journey Planet of Lana has to offer as soon as you get the chance.
