OlliOlli World is a fun, very accessible game that lets you easily pull of many tricks, fly over chasms and slide on dinosaur bones as you explore an enticing wacky world. What I don’t like about Roll7’s latest creation, was its narrative side, a sudden difficulty spike by the end and the lack of a good level editor.

OlliOlli World is an amazing skateboarding experience through a Cartoon Network like world. Almost every aspect of this game is enjoyable, except of the dialogues and the not so interesting story.

Best Skate Game since Thrasher or if you prefer THS1. I really love the style and the controlls and how everything is so positively vibed. I would like to see the "new" in customization also in the sections and not only on the map because it triggers my inner little Monk if I don´t check the new stuff until it´s unmarked but that my issue and not the games.

OlliOlli world is one of those games where you tell yourself, "just one more try " until it's 3 am. It's mechanics are incredibly easy to pick up, and the game eases you into them. However, before you get worried things may be sinple the game introduces way tighter execution requirements and new techniques to use. This pacing of challenge is done like a team that has worked out the kinks of their formula in the first game. If you like games that get you into a flow state through quick reaction and execution checks, you'll enjoy this. Also the art style is distinct and pops throughout the game. It never gets boring to look at. What a nice bonus.

OlliOlllie World retains the fun skating mechanics of it’s predecessors whilst somewhat lowering the difficulty to make for a more accessible title. It does however still become pretty tough in later levels and having to completely restart levels every time you make a mistake does become a little frustrating. The narrative is also completely unnecessary and only serves to make it take longer to start each new level.

OlliOlli World is an absurdly intricate game. Yet it is lovingly approachable. Roll7 has been working with this series for almost a decade and their efforts have bore exceptional fruit. In the path to achieve Gnarvana, players will encounter an exuberant world populated with a wild cast of characters. The series’ move to 3D has paid off. But more importantly, the complex mechanics of its tricks and combos have been polished to a luxurious sheen, rewarding players of all skill levels and degrees of dedication. I can think of few things I would change about OlliOlli World aside from more and more levels and hundreds more cosmetic options. As it stands, though, the game is bursting at the seams with finesse, eclipsing what was already a near-perfect harmony.

Skating in 2.5D is a real pleasure with OlliOll World. The gameplay is almost perfect and thanks to the creative levels with plenty to do, the game has a high replayability. This is accompanied by a fine learning curve, an excellent soundtrack, many customization options and so on. That the story is not that interesting you have to accept, because the rest is excellent! Must have.

OlliOlli World is pretty much the ideal arcade game. Incredibly tight systems and gameplay, a feedback loop that keeps you wanting to top the leaderboard, and a soundtrack that makes every session a strong vibe. Accessibility and body customisation options are lacking, but are areas that should easily be updatable, and will hopefully add to an incredible basis.

Without bringing any significant gameplay novelty, Roll7 still offers to its series a universe with a crazy charm. For those who have already played the first two episodes, you will certainly be on familiar ground: the levels follow one another at full speed, the difficulty is still high, and the secondary challenges should keep the hardcore gamers busy for many hours. A good game, efficient and fun, if not as original as its artistic direction would have let you hope.

A (lot) more content on the multiplayer side would have been welcome, but as it is, Olli Olli World is enjoyable and will please anyone enjoying Scoring, and Scoring higher, and higher. Also, fancy art to boot.

Il gioco ha mantenuto lo stesso stile grafico dei capitoli precedenti bidimensionali, con quello stile fumettoso scanzonato che ricorda i cartoni animati di Cartoon Network. Ma la risoluzione e la fluidità ne hanno sicuramente guadagnato coll passaggio ai poligoni. Personalmente l’ho provato su Xbox Series ottenendo una risoluzione di 4K con 120 frame al secondo. Non so se sia il framerate oppure il gameplay, ma se dovessi descrivere la sensazione che si prova a giocare Olly Olly World parlerei di flusso. Infatti il gioco scorre velocissimo e fluido e quando il giocatore entra in stato di grazia con il suo Gameplay lo skate corre veloce senza incontrare nessuna interruzione. Il giocatore è completamente immerso nella sua corsa. Nella sua mente esiste solo il prossimo ostacolo e il modo più spettacolare per superarlo. In questo stato che chiamo flusso i comandi diventano memoria muscolare e si riescono a compiere sequenze più veloci della nostra comprensione. Olli Olli world è la perfezione del genere da se stesso creato, dopo due capitoli ottimi Private Division ha migliorato sotto ogni aspetto un titolo già ottimo e che è talmente unico da non temere la concorrenza dei Pixel Perfect Platformer, dei runner, dei Rithm’n run.

Pretty fun game and challengin but i personally don't like that i have to use my thumbsticks for the gameplay. Why? Well because it could make your controller stickdrift after a while. I also would liked the multiplayer to be better than a leaderboard kind thing.

I bought this game, because everyone liked it and talked about the great gameplay, the flow and beautiful style. I really do like the artwork of the game, but I think the gameplay is one of worst I ever come across. You literally only use the Left Stick. For EVERYTHING. Jumping, Grinding, Flips and Manuals. It’s not precise, but very frustrating. I wouldn’t recommend this game to anyone, and once again I‘m mad about myself by stepping into the trap of overhyped indie games.
