A gorgeous-looking, very well designed game that offers five different racing styles to tackle - and a bevy of interesting cars to modify and make your own. Its story is a lot of fun, and it's set in an impressively large environment that is very enjoyable to drive around. A great arcade racer that's both challenging and addictive.
NFS 2015 is a very underrated game, the graphics are still impressive - even after 10 years! It was in this part that, many years later, a serious tuning appeared in the series, which set the direction for ten years to come. I can’t even believe that Ken Block, Magnus Walker, Nakai San and the Risky Devil team were in this part; the other parts, although not bad, do not match this one in terms of mood. Maybe it's nostalgia, but it's really nice to be back in this game.
The title of this game is the best nfs ever. Graphics just killing evenin 2024 it looks stunning better than unbound and heat. Also it has the coolest physics ever.I love the handling with a great drifting feature and camera that moves with it. This nfs I may separate from all others where I feel the speed and enjoying driving. So immersive. Every single detail in this game well developed. and I really don't understand the fans that are always complain about stop button. You guys just complaining even this masterpiece that they created. so go "enjoy" heat or unbound or whatever low.
Not the best of reboots, but certainly not the worst, the latest Need For Speed plays it safe with a reborn franchise that is focused on finding the lust for momentum that it had lost in previous installments. A solid start, even if it doesn't finish ahead of the pack.
A worthy successor to the both Underground games doesn’t reach their quality though. Arcade riding feels fresh and if you are up to an easy fun you have just arrived to your destination.
With strong arcade-style racing, great visuals and sounds, Need for Speed looks the part, but falls short in other areas such as poor A.I., limited body part options and lack of incentives to keep you motivated to race.
A tragically misjudged series reboot that gets all of the fundamentals wrong, while adding absolutely nothing new to the franchise except flashier graphics.
This is coming from someone who hasn't played a Need for Speed game since Hot pursuit 2 on PS1. Recently though I've been getting back into the series (Starting with this one) first let's go over the negatives. The only online portion would have been a deal breaker for me if I didn't get this game on a huge discount. Because of this requirement you are unable to pause during gameplay which can be annoying if your controller is dying or you have something you need to do and just want to leave it idle. Another issue is the server "maintenance" that happens frequently. I'll often join a lobby only to find out that it'll be shutting down in 30-15 minutes. It doesn't happen all the time, but it's frequent enough to be annoying. Restarting races is easy to do during the events, but if you finish the event you need to go all the way back to the starting point. A retry option would have been nice. Speaking of annoying, I have yet to find a fast travel option. This could be user error on my part, but as far as I know you have to drive everywhere. This doesn't sound too bad until you realize there's only one garage (that I know of) in the game, and it's located to the far right of the map, meaning that if you have a drift challenge you need to prepare for that's all the way on the left side of the map you'll be covering a lot of ground just to get there. This isn't all bad as you earn experience from just driving, and the driving is fun. But the option would have been welcome. Now for the good. A lot of people will make fun of the live action cutscenes (and granted they are a bit goofy at the beginning) but the more I played the more I found the cutscenes and characters endearing. To the point where I looked forward to the next one. The music is good to drive to, but i hardly notice it during races as I'm hyper focused. Still I feel many will enjoy it. I also want to add that people have claimed this game to be short, but I have been playing for quite a while and still don't see the end in sight. There's a plethora of cars and customization options to purchase and tinker with. I dabbled with it to get a nice car with high end parts and a kickin' pink coat, but I'm sure others will get even more mileage out of the garage and it's tools. The garage also allows for easy adjustments which I used frequently when needing a more "drift" style to complete a mission. It was incredibly handy Lastly the graphics are great for 2015. The environment can get a little boring/repetitive as you'll be driving by the same areas over, and over again. But that doesn't make the game any less pretty. If you can get past the issues you'll find a fun game to shave off some free time.
I hate this game. There is only one reason, I am mad writing this review right now. First of all, THERE IS NO PAUSE BUTTON. This means that, if your controller dies, the game will continue. In my case I was in a cop chase. There were five police on me. My controller unexpectedly died, resulting in me being caught, but, If my PlayStation 4 wasn’t a used one, so it may have had some unseen issues (I have now had it for around five years), but that is no excuse, to me it is fine if this game regularly had no pause button, but It is very needed if your controller dies, not to mention, I was twenty minutes into the chase, there was another chase I had, it was fifteen minutes long (I also got caught there). In total, I wasted around thirty-five minutes of my life on these chases, due to a major in-game issue. Besides that, this game has awesome graphics and details. 9.9/10.
SummaryOne of the first things you’ll notice when tackling the front of your car is the ability to modify your stance. Whether you are changing the ride height by slamming it to the ground, raising it up, or anything in between, you choose your perfect ride height. Throw in options for rake and both front and rear track width, and you’re on yo...
