Little Nightmares 3 might be the least of the trilogy so far, but anyone who wants to have a new experience in its horribly bleak and oppressive world will still find this a great opportunity to do so — it just doesn’t come together as darkly perfect as it should.

Little Nightmares 3 preserves the franchise’s eerie atmosphere and strong visual identity, delivering tense chase sequences and well‑designed cooperative puzzles. However, the lack of local co‑op, unstable matchmaking, and a growing sense of repetition hold the experience back. Its cinematic direction and detailed environments are impressive, though depth perception issues often impact platforming. It’s a solid entry, but one that falls short of bringing meaningful innovation to the series.

Little Nighmares III keeps the eerie charm of its predecessors, adding co-op play and great visuals, but limited multiplayer options and mild innovation hold it back from true greatness.

this was my least favourite of the three games. the controls were noticeably problematic and unresponsive, mostly related to having the action buttons on toggle versus the default hold setting. a lot of times the game would indicate the toggle was active but actions would not be performed. constantly fighting with keeping the flashlight illuminated was awful, the game would turn if off and not remember to turn it back on. the final straw was the hot air balloon portion, I attempted to ignite the flame dozens of times and it only worked once I tried changing from performance to beauty graphical mode. yes, I was so desperate that I was changing options like that to see if it would help. and it did, first try. lots of empty uninteresting rooms and no real challenge other than fighting against poor controls and lighting. very disappointed.

While the first two games are an absolute favourite of mine, this recent one was extremely disappointing. Halfway through the gameplay you still have hope it might change for the better, and you think the overly repetitive cycle of puzzle - chase- jump and run - chase - boss death might just end and become something more exciting. But once you have discovered the twentieth bug that ruins your whole experience, all hope has been squashed. The story is messy and hard to grasp, it feels like the different maps have no correlation whatsoever. The end is shallow and almost feels like a copy of the second games' ending but worse.
At least the game lives up to its' name: playing it truly was a little nightmare!

Little Nightmares III is definitely worth a try, bringing a unique brand of horror and platforming puzzle action to the table in an instalment that builds on the franchise's best features.

Little Nightmares 3 has excellent atmosphere and soundtrack, with a good story, but leaves unanswered questions from its predecessor. However, it lacked creativity in its pursuers and environment, the new mechanics were underutilized, and there is no local co-op or cross-play.

The game stays true to its roots. Two characters were essential to the plot; the game symbolizes childhood trauma and overcoming it. Little Nightmares III teaches us that, no matter how difficult or how scared your life going, don't give up to the next scenario ! It might be the place you've always wanted to go.

The lack of couch co-op is a massive fumble for this game. My girlfriend and I were really looking forward to playing it together, expecting an experience on par with the previous title. Unfortunately, we were disappointed to find out that local co-op isn’t supported. To make matters worse, even the Friend Pass feature doesn’t support cross-play and since we only have one PS5 and a Switch, that completely locks us out. Aside from that, the gameplay feels clunky and a bit rushed. The short runtime (about 3–4 hours) makes the price feel hard to justify. That said, the art direction remains beautiful and eerily atmospheric. Visually, it’s stunning. But it still feels like the team played it safe, more of the same, rather than something fresh. In the end, it feels like Little Nightmares II: Redux rather than a true evolution of the series.

Little Nightmares 3 is a great puzzle platformer that we really enjoyed, especially in co-op mode.

Little Nightmares III is a safe entry into the series that runs into repetition issues, alongside bugs that really hold the game back. The checkpointing system is the biggest offender here, sometimes making me lose 4 or 5 minutes.

Little Nightmares III looks great but lacks bite. Its haunting art direction and eerie atmosphere still impress, but the short runtime, predictable puzzles, and dull AI partner make this sequel feel smaller in every sense. Play it in co-op if you can — alone, it’s only half as fun.

Little Nightmares III is not a bad game, despite many flaws. It is a middle of the road, proper game that provides a few hours of fun. The problem is that this series used to be much more than that. First two games were bold and full of ideas that stuck with you for a long time. I will forget about this nightmare very quickly.

If you’re a fan of Little Nightmares, or similar games in this genre — and, are willing to overlook some pretty loose design — then you’ll find enjoyment in this; a $60 AUD price point also helps. Otherwise, you’re better off steering clear, or engaging with other co-op titles like It Takes Two. If you’re on the fence, a demo is available, though it doesn’t offer progression into the main game proper.

Uz sve rečeno igra djeluje u isti mah i mlako u ugodno. Slaba emocija kroz labavu priču doprinosi mlakosti. Ipak solidan naslov koji sada manje iritira zahtjevnošću.

There are so many bugs the game is barely playable. The bugs are especially severe in the final 1/3 of the game. I was playing co-op with my wife and we finally had to stop playing. So frustrating.
